The Funny Lion - Puerto Princesa ★★★★
"Our family had such a wonderful stay at Funny Lion! From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel so welcome, comfortable, and completely stress-free throughout our visit. The warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail truly made this a memorable experience for all of us. A very special thank you to the General Manager for leading such an outstanding team, and to Janine for being extra patient, kind, and incredibly helpful during our stay. She truly went above and beyond to make sure my questions and requests were attended to. Huge thanks as well to all the rest of the staff members who were consistently friendly abd attentive in every way. We also really enjoyed the food at Hunt Restaurant — definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and taste made it worth it. We originally wanted to dine at C75 as well, but it was fully booked, so I highly recommend making reservations in advance. The buffet breakfast was also very good, although the spread was a little limited. The pool was very well maintained, and we appreciated that water activities like kayaking were included free of charge. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to visit the resort sandbar due to unexpected boat issues. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, with lovely little touches like fresh fruit juice and daily snacks that made the stay feel extra special. Overall, it was such a warm, relaxing, and enjoyable family getaway. Thank you, Funny Lion, for the amazing hospitality — we can’t wait to come back!"
Bale Cabugao Cottages Rental El Nido overlooking Beach ★★★
"If you are looking for a budget friendly place, this is the place for you. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, especially the view when you are outside, it's relaxing. I would rate it 10/10."
Sunlight Hotel Puerto Princesa ★★★
A comfortable stay near the city centre, great for travellers who want shopping, dining, bay views, and easy access to island tour arrangements.

Also, staffs were very friendly and helpful with any concerns we had during our stay—so we highly recommend this place to everyone who is visiting Port Barton, Palawan."
Microtel by Wyndham Puerto Princesa
"Customer service is great however it takes forever to serve breakfast.More than an hour for a Filipino breakfast(garlic rice, lamayo and egg).Baka nakalimutan pero pinahatid naman ng taga front desk sa room.. Amenities and facilities needs improvement and upgrade.Window type AC is noisy.Bed is moving."
The Dome Hotel & Resort Puerto Princesa
"War super"
Panari Lodge El Nido
"Booked here for 4 days 2 rooms booked one family room and one deluxe double room. Booked and paid half of the booking fee directly to the lodge. Krissa greeted us and kindly let us check in early at 12 pm while we wait for the double room to be ready. The family room is very basic. Aircon is old, drips and very noisy and although it was set on 16 degrees it was still quite hot in the room. The tiles entering the room is uneven and wobbly. My daughter every hurt her foot on it. the second ceiling light and fan is broken. There was no safe, kettle or any drinking facilities in the room. No tables only a very old cabinet below the TV where the smallest fridge sits. The only power point next to one of the beds is faulty and so loose that it cant even hold what you plug in. The toilet smelt of sewer and the water from the bathroom stunk so bad. The beds are fairly comfortable but old and the bedsheets are old and work out and looked dirty. I didn't sleep very well as I cant face putting my face into the actual pillow. My parents room stunk of sewer so bad. The sink was located in the actual room and not in the bathroom. Little ants constantly coming out of the tap and shower every time they used it. There was no fridge in their room and the safe was faulty. The room also stunk of sewer so bad that when my parents complained they have kindly tried to sort the issue out by cementing the bottom of the toilet seat where the smell was seeping through. The staff also tried their best to mask the smell with numerous air fresheners but you could still smell the bad sewer smell in the background. The staff has kindly tried their best to try improve the smell. We have lost 1 day of our 4 day trip due to them trying to fix the problems. We felt quite sick and unwell from the smell that we decided to move elsewhere and find a cleaner accommodation where we can be more comfortable and enjoy our trip here in El Nido better. The feedback and photos online doesn't seem to reflect the actual conditions of the room and the place otherwise I would definitely would have not wasted our time booking there. We cant afford to be ill when we are on holiday. The staff has been kind and accomodating though so that is the only positive thing I can actually say about Panari Lodge"

Rema Tourist Inn
"Beautiful, large pool. Well-maintained grounds, within walking distance of the airport (15-17 minutes). The restrooms are a bit of a mess, though."
Marina Palawan Boutique Nature Resort
"We enjoy the staycation. It was a great experience and this is our third time. The beddings are clean and smell good. Hot shower is not really hot but we are ok. The food is plenty for us. The pool is fresh water. Overall our stay is great!"
Panja Resort Palawan
"The experience over all was amazing. We truly enjoyed our time in this hotel. The staff were very accommodating (they did need to switch us rooms though cause the first one had an AC with a bad smell) but without hassle they changed us and everything was fine. I think if the ac doesn’t run for a while they can do that. The pool was absolutely great, we spent most days in the pool at least once. I did wish it had a bit of shaded area over the pool itself but the water temperature was just right and so relaxing. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very delicious. We had some lunches and dinners there too which were all great as well. There is a very cool 360 roof bar with a happy hour, though it was disappointing that the front desk info said it included cocktails and beer for happy hour but we were told beer only for happy hour prices when we went up there. The location and the views are just stunning from wherever you look and it’s truly peaceful. It is a bit far away so you would want a motorbike or car rental, which we did have so it wasn’t a problem for us. It was one of the most relaxing stays we had in the Philippines and we would definitely go back! :)"
Liane's Place Puerto Princesa
"The experience was good and is accessible to important places"
Balai Princesa
"Although the hotel has nothing round it that you can walk to, the first impressions on entering were promising. The hotel reception was presented very well and smelt wonderful. We used the tea/coffee facilities in the lounge area but like the rooms, everything could do with a proper clean. The towels in the room were well worn and there was only serviettes instead of toilet paper. The staff were on their phones watching videos (both kitchen and reception staff) and had no interest in their jobs. We had an incident in the cafe which resulted in the staff coming out of the kitchen and laughing at us eating our food, which resulted in me leaving mine. Very immature and unprofessional. This is not a boutique hotel."
