TTeeks Pros:
Our stay at Piece Lio was decent overall. The aesthetics matched the pictures online, and the studio was spacious with a lovely balcony view overlooking the rainforest. I really appreciated the Dyson hairdryer in the room, which made things much easier with long hair. The staff were friendly, polite, and kind, thank you guys!
Cons:
There were some small issues in the room, such as paint patches peeling off and small holes near the window shutters, which need attention, especially for a fairly new hotel.
The biggest disappointment was discovering that there is no gym or spa, even though both are listed in the hotelās description. This may not be a big deal for everyone, but it was for us since we had planned our trip around maintaining our fitness and relaxation routine. Instead, guests are given access to facilities within the same hospitality group. The gym and spa are located offsite, about 15 minutes away in town. While the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from that location, the drive feels much longer than expected due to island roads. The gym is small with basic equipment, and the spa, called Rituals Health and Spa, felt old and in need of renovation.
Breakfast was average and not really to our liking. It was also inconvenient because most restaurants at Lio Beach do not open until around 10 a.m., leaving limited early morning options. We ended up eating at another nearby hotel restaurant, Molave, which was the only one open at that time. One of the staff members incorrectly told us there were other options available earlier, which suggests a need for better training and communication.
Another issue was with a pre-booked van ride to one of the beaches. We had confirmed it via WhatsApp, but when we went downstairs, the staff had no record of it. To their credit, they handled the situation professionally and offered us a free one-way ride to make up for the inconvenience.
Overall:
The staff were warm and helpful, but management needs to improve communication, training, and most importantly, the accuracy of the facilities listed online. It feels misleading to advertise a gym and spa that are not actually part of the hotel. The lack of an in-house restaurant was also inconvenient, especially when you want a quick meal without leaving the property.
If the hotel eventually adds its own spa and gym, it would be a much better experience. We did recommend it to friends for a short stay before their flight, but I would not suggest booking it if your priority is having fitness and spa facilities in one place. Overall, would return it they added the facilities!
P.S. thereās cats! Iām not a cats person so it was a little uncomfortable to have them downstairs in the lobby area .

AArleneFirst of all i would like to say thank you to all the staff in Carpe diem especially to Donald! ;) the guy at the reception i really appreciate the helpfulness, and also the treatment he gave us it was a delightful experienced i worked in a service industry too and this is really important to have those excellent service in order to sustain the business, whoever is the owner of this hotel please do appreciate the hard-work of Donald im really glad of what he did for us during our stay, the staff are well trained, and overall the room is huge, and clean the amenities are great:)

PPau.I liked the hostel very much, the staff as is very common in the Philippines is extremely polite and always helpful, I loved the unusual big bunk bed and I wish I could've stay until the last day I planned to stay, however the weather force me to leave one day earlier and I really hoped the hostel will understand my position, considering that nature conditions are out of my control and I couldn't take the risk of not making it to Coron to get my flight out of the Philippines, sadly I ended paying double for accommodation, and haven't been able to see as much as I expected of the country.

GGuest UserWe absolutely loved everything about our stay at Zuri Resort Coron. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm, relaxing, and well thought out. We stayed in a Family Room with two queen beds and bunk beds built above them, and our kids loved it ā it was spacious, fun, and perfect for families.
The staff were exceptional ā friendly, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond. The resortās four pools were another major highlight, each offering amazing views of the beach and sunset, making it easy to wind down and enjoy the scenery.
We were impressed by the cocktails, food, and buffet selection, which had a wide variety of options that catered to both Filipinos and non-Filipinos. Everything felt fresh and satisfying.
Another thing we appreciated was how the resort provided clear details on different activities and tours available around Coron. It made planning our days simple and stress-free.
Overall, Zuri Resort delivered comfort, beauty, and excellent service from start to finish. I wouldnāt think twice about staying here again.

AAizzyCleHad a great experience in Astoria. Was welcomed by their friendly and helpful staff. Everyone greets you with a smile and everyone is willing to help may it be with queries or directions and even with taking your great photos in the resort. The rooms were clean, and homey. Rooms are equipped with microwaves and table wares for when you order room service. The resort has great amenities and you will not get bored with activities you can do during your stay. Their breakfast buffet is something we look forward to every morning. They serve delicious and freshly cooked food. They have fast and reliable WiFi for those who work on the go. It was a stay I would remember and recommend all the time.

CChristopher VongTravelled as a couple and it was great locale. Gar enough away to have privacy though to far to walk anywhete . Though bit a problem, there are always plenty of tricycles and it was only 40php to get to town.
Service was great with our waiters. The internet was spotty at best but we didnt need it much and it was good enough to get uodates and book what we needed.
Dont expect to be able to stream anything
The gym was well filled out with pretty much all you need.
Food was okay though heavy on the msg.
I would avoid the spa / massage. My wife got one and it wad a waste of money. They didnt know what they were doing and my wife left.

GGuest UserMantiloc resort is a paradise. If you are looking for a relaxing time in a unique spot this place is for you. The staff are so kind and helpful, they make it an amazing stay. The half day boat trip is also well worth it and one of the best parts of our trip.
The menu could do with being expanded, with more vegetarian and vegan options. Also a barista coffee option would make it perfect., though a nespresso machine was a available upon request
