KKarimHMy stay at El Nido Resorts Lagen Island was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff's warmth and genuine hospitality were exceptional; they always wore smiles and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island. The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. Thank you for an exceptional stay!

MMARICELAUG 2025- BEAUTIFUL weather to celebrate 50th Birthday in Paradise. Top-notch hospitality, warmth, and exceptional service!! I am long overdue in sharing my review, but I am excited to share my experience. My husband booked Seda Lio for my 50th birthday celebration. From the moment they picked us up from the airport in a golf buggy , which my boys loved, to the front desk, where we were greeted with drinks and a wonderful welcome, we knew we were in for a exceptional time. The service was unparalleled, led by Miggy, Devine, and their team. They upgraded us to a beautiful and spacious suite, closest to the beach. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and I must mention the delicious Taho and exceptional service provided by Jason and his team (forgot to mention the lady that served our table across the main door who was equally exceptional as well ). I received birthday cake greetings twice during breakfast, courtesy of Jason who made sure I blew my cake before we went for Island hopping, and again during dinner. Kuya Eddie was remarkable, making us feel safe during our island adventure and taking my sons snorkeling. And made my sons coconut palm hat. Seda Lio exceeded my expectations, making my 50th birthday celebration truly unforgettable. Thank you, and I cant wait to return to paradise.. 5 ⭐️

TThe Mrs.Absolute Paradise I cannot recommend Astoria Palawan enough! My husband and I recently stayed in one of the Villas, and it was the perfect home away from home. The space, the privacy, and the gorgeous views made our trip truly special. One of the highlights was the boat trip to the sand bar—a slice of heaven in the middle of the water. The team that took us out ensured we were safe and comfortable the entire time, making the experience completely worry-free and magical. The food was consistently excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. For evening relaxation, we loved having drinks at The Dome—the atmosphere is unmatched. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to send a huge thank you to Segundo at the Canopy reception for his warm and efficient service. A special shout-out to Jacqklyn at The Dome for her wonderful evening service and making our nights out special, and to Mark at the Habitat Restaurant for his attentive care during our meals. We are also incredibly grateful to the team who safely took us to the sandbar—your professionalism was reassuring. Finally, a massive thank you to Agustin at the waterpark for his energy and helpfulness; he made the waterpark experience so much fun for us no. If you are looking for a flawless stay in Palawan with incredible villas, great food, and staff who genuinely care, book Astoria Palawan. We are already planning our return

GGuest UserThe hotel is nice, the room was big, we did switch room on second day for better view. The hotel was literally at 100% occupancy. The housekeeping was very efficient and so is the repair team. The location is very remote with not much around, so if you want to just relax, swim, and read a book, this is the perfect location. The hotel has a restaurant, a pool bar, a spa, a 24 hours gym, a pickle ball court, a large outdoor pool, and direct access to beach. On the positive side, the staff are so nice, very friendly, attend to your needs very efficiently. Honestly, I am super impressed that my room is always clean on time, there are always clean towels at the pool, this is extremely challenging for a fully booked hotel, which also was hosting a wedding and a conference during Valentine’s Day weekend and Chinese new years at the same time. On the negatives side, the carpet was dirty in both rooms, the AC was leaking and the toilet seat was broken, both were fixed right away. Because it is remote, we ate most of our meals in the hotel. The F&B program was not very well designed, options were limited for both breakfast and dinner buffet; after 3 days it feels a little like eating canteen food. Both my son and husband had salad on first day, while I only ate cooked food, so they were both pretty sick for the rest of the stay. Meanwhile, the operation team at the restaurant was clearly not ready for full occupancy, any order could easily take >45 mins and many local dishes were not available for days because lacking of LOCAL ingredients. They even ran out of ice cream at dinner, something that could have been stocked well in advance, unlike fresh vegetables. So any meal could take 1.5 - 2.0 hours. Again, the ataff was wonderful, they were doing everything they can to help. However, the management team really need to plan better for high season.

GGuest UserI'm not picky and we travel a lot, so I have plenty to compare with. But here, I was shocked by the sheer number of negatives all in one hotel. We stayed in two different room categories (including a suite). For its price range, this hotel was a huge disappointment (this is our third hotel on Palawan, all located near beaches, and the prices were more or less the same). Inside, even on the bed, there were tiny ants crawling around. Breakfast isn't included, and the rooms aren't cleaned. Once, throughout our entire vacation, I asked them to clean the room and change the bedding. They came by evening, but they just took the towels and didn't replace them, saying everything was being washed 🙃. After showering, I had to dry myself with a dirty t-shirt because nothing in the room dries properly. The Wi-Fi constantly cut out, and for the last few days, it didn't work at all. Overall, it was a complete misunderstanding; the only saving grace was the ocean view from the room! There was mold on the walls, I even saw spots on the mattress. The extractor fan in the shower didn't work at all, the toilet seat was loose, and there was hardly any water pressure in the sink and shower, just a tiny trickle (I assume for economy — even in the suite) – I've attached photos (notice how the faucet is installed). On the last day, the air conditioning even started leaking. There's no safe, and the door lock sometimes fell out with the key, and I had to reinsert it into the hole. If you want a somewhat comfortable stay, only book the suite; the price difference isn't that much. The TV is in the photos, but it's not actually there, though we didn't need it anyway.

GGuest UserA gem surrounded by jungle and sea. There's a charming village nearby where you can buy small things like popcorn, coconuts, and bananas. The hotel has a small beach and two pools. It's definitely worth getting a room with a sea view; falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves is wonderful. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful with any questions. Special thanks to the administrator, Len! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the first night, and everything was delicious. On the second night, we tried a local cafe nearby, which is a must-visit – everything there is tasty! If you walk from the hotel towards the river, the cafe is on the right (see photo). Keep in mind that the hotel is far from Coron town, so transfers won't be cheap. There's nothing else around (which was a plus for us). You can also visit the lovely Lakdayan Beach. Downsides: 1. One day, people from a cancelled flight were accommodated at the hotel. The staff couldn't cope, and people were smoking by the pool with no one saying anything. We waited an hour for breakfast the next day. 2. The breakfast menu could use more variety.

BBlade.around.the.worldUniversity /University dorm partially turned into a hotel with minimal investment. The result is mostly positive. The hotel is very photogenic so it's easy to get the impression that it's much more swanky than it actually is.. I enjoyed my stay, the staff is friendly, it's clean, surrounded by greenery and nice views. Don't let the name Hotel Palacio fool you, don't expect a palace, the hotel is modest but comfortable. Location wise, it's out of town which was no problem for me as I had prearranged a motorbike during my 7 days stay. For those pending on jeepney public transport or tricycle taxis, places like the baywalk are far away. The van I had organised to the airport early morning with the receptionist was punctually waiting for me. Everything was good. Expect a 3 star property and you won't be disappointed.

KKenDucsWe recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I must say it was one of the cleanest hotels I've experienced in Palawan. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access local attractions. However, there was some noise from a nearby bar late at night. It wasn't too distracting for me, especially on the higher floors, so I recommend requesting one of those if you’re sensitive to sound. The hotel itself is well-maintained, likely due to its recent renovations. The elevator, though small, was smooth and always clean, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The bathroom was a highlight—very clean and comfortable, although I did find the water heater a bit challenging to adjust. Each room features a smart lock and a smart TV with Netflix and other apps, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was reliable, even on the highest floor, allowing for seamless browsing. One area for improvement would be the bedding. While the mattress and pillows were decent, a thicker comforter would enhance the sleeping experience, as the provided blanket was quite thin. The staff were friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While this may not be a luxury hotel, it offers excellent cleanliness and customer service, making it a great choice for travelers. I would certainly consider staying here again!
