"The location was excellent, and having a convenience store nearby was very convenient. Even just strolling around the area allowed me to enjoy the unique streetscapes and culture of Kyoto, making it an ideal place for sightseeing. Although it was very hot the day I stayed, the lobby was cool and comfortable, allowing me to relax immediately upon arrival. The room was very clean, had a calm atmosphere, and was very comfortable. I think it's perfect for families or groups of friends. The access to food stalls and sightseeing was also good, allowing me to fully enjoy my Kyoto trip. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Kyoto in the future.　 I want to know what I want to know I love it ㅎㅎ I want to know what I want to know I want to know more about this I want to know what I want to know I'm in love with you ㅎㅎㅎㅎ"

"Overall, it was a fantastic stay! 1. The hotel is very new. The room was around 35 square meters, with a separate bedroom and bathroom, including a bathtub and a full set of amenities. There's also a public bath on B1, perfect for those who love a good soak. 2. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. When checking in, they even escorted me to my room and explained how everything worked. Staff always greeted me enthusiastically when entering or leaving the hotel, and the room was cleaned daily. 3. The location is very convenient. It’s just a 6-7 minute walk to department stores like Daimaru and Takashimaya, as well as the Kamo River. Kiyomizu-dera Temple is about a 30-minute walk away. There are convenience stores and various restaurants nearby, yet the streets are clean and quiet. The room's soundproofing was excellent, so I wasn't disturbed by any noise. Other notes: There's a restaurant downstairs (I didn't try it, but the menu mentioned Kobe beef). The room had a modern Japanese design – simple, cozy, and unique."

"The staff were very welcoming every time I entered the hotel or came down to the lobby, which made the stay feel warm and comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located between two train stations, making it easy to travel around the area. There is also a convenience store right opposite the hotel, and a McDonald’s just around the corner, which adds to the overall convenience. Breakfast is served at the café downstairs, which appears to be a popular local spot as it is always filled with diners. Although the selection is not very wide, the food is quite delicious and satisfying. The room itself is clean and well-maintained, although on the smaller side. Overall, a simple but very convenient and pleasant stay with friendly service and a great location."

"The hotel was within walking distance from Kyoto Station. The room was compact but clean, and the facilities were sufficient. Since I was staying with a friend, having a separate bath and toilet was a huge plus. There were plenty of outlets, and the air conditioning could be adjusted freely. I'm not sure if there were other guests, but it was quiet at night, and the bed was comfortable, so I slept soundly. We could also easily reach all the tourist spots we wanted to visit from a nearby bus stop, so the location was great for transportation. If I have the chance, I'd like to stay here again and even for a few more days."

"This time I stayed at Hotel Heian no Mori Machiya, and the room was clean and tidy overall, with satisfactory hygiene. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. However, the location is a bit out of the way, and it takes some time to walk to the subway station. The facilities are also relatively simple, with nothing particularly outstanding. It's basically comfortable, but I hope to get a room with better and more complete facilities next time. Overall, I recommend it to those who prioritize cleanliness."

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful, especially the little details – the tableware, the flowers in the lobby, and even the scent! The room size is truly amazing, it's so spacious! We could finally breathe normally and move around comfortably. The bed and pillows are fantastic too, with two options: one with 'pebbles' and a regular one. The staff are polite and friendly! In the evening, there's complimentary champagne and ramen (instant noodles) in the lobby, which was delicious. All the necessary amenities were provided, including slippers, a hairdryer, and so on! My only minor issue was that our room was on the first floor, and you could say there's no real window (it's high up and covered). Since we were tired from our journey, we took a nap during the day and could hear conversations and music from the lobby. The music was calm, so it wasn't too disruptive, unlike the conversations. This wasn't a problem at night, as the 'kitchen' area closes, no one is around, and the music is turned off. I 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again if we're in Kyoto! It's very comfortable, has an excellent location on a quiet street, and is still close to the subway!"

"An excellent stay! This was my first trip to Kyoto, and I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time. **Location:** Tucked away in a quiet spot amidst the bustling city, it's easy to find. All the main attractions, shopping areas, public transport, convenience stores, and restaurants are incredibly close and well-equipped. It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit 5 of Shijo subway station, super easy to locate, right by the intersection where the Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto is. It's really convenient for accessing both the Shijo shopping district and Kyoto Station, with Shijo and Karasuma subway stations as options. Even though the main roads in Kyoto can get noisy at night with vehicles revving, this hotel isn't directly on the main road, so there's absolutely no noise disturbance – it's perfect. **Room Amenities:** The central air conditioning vents were silent, the fridge was quiet, and all the furniture, appliances, linens, and toiletries were new and quite clean. The room was spacious enough. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, which I consider a plus, and the shower had good water pressure and stable temperature. My only minor gripe is that the bathroom exhaust fan couldn't be turned off, leading to a slight hum at night, but closing the bathroom door kept it from affecting my sleep. **Public Facilities:** There's a laundry room with dryers, a 24-hour self-service coffee machine offering freshly ground coffee, a kettle, and a selection of tea bags. The hotel has five floors and two elevators. Although breakfast isn't provided, there's bread and juice in the mornings, and instant noodles in the evenings, available in the communal dining area. I'm not sure if there's dedicated hotel parking, but there are plenty of parking lots nearby. **Service:** Although the platform stated that check-in isn't possible after 11 PM, the hotel front desk is staffed 24/7. There were staff members who spoke Japanese, English, Chinese, and French, though the French and other language speakers might be on rotating shifts. They offer complimentary luggage storage on the day of check-out. **Additional Tip:** I also chose the optional JR HARUKA e-ticket from Kansai Airport to Kyoto when booking. It was indeed cheaper than buying tickets at the station. You just need to use the QR code sent to you to exchange for your train ticket directly at a JR station ticket machine."

"The hotel’s location is really strategic! Walking distance to Don Quijote, Family Mart, and bus stops (also to and from Kyoto Station if you’d like to add some KM to your Japan trip, around 15-20 mins by foot). Amenities are decent, although soundproofing is not the best (we could hear bit of noises and foot steps from next rooms) - after a long day of walking we’re too tired to bother and had a pretty good rest! Recommended if you’re looking for budget friendly option and strategic location."

"Cleanliness: Excellent. The only downside is the small trash can capacity; it fills up after just two cans of Coke. Facilities: Excellent, feels almost brand new. Soundproofing is excellent; there's not much noise in the room, so it doesn't disturb sleep. Service: The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. Environment: A 10-minute walk to the Shijo central area; the Keihan Expressway to Osaka is just across the street. There's a subway station right outside for connecting to other parts of the city. The only drawback: The room is small; you can't open your suitcase."
