Room accommodation with open-air bath [Room] Yufu Dake was well seen from the open-air bath. It is convenient to wash shampoo and body in the open-air bath or in the inner bath in the room. There are chairs and tables on the balcony. 【Amenities】 There are several cosmetics for men and women on the washbasin in the room. There are cleaning, but for the price of the room, including other amenities, it was .... 【Bath】 Small towels are prepared in the public bath, so you don't need to use wet things. There are few amenities in the dressing room. [Meal] Private room in the dining hall with evening breakfast. Dinner and Bungo beef steak were soft and delicious. When I entered the private room, I was already prepared for sashimi and baked fish on the table. There may be corona measures, but the baked fish was cold, so it was a little disappointing. There was breakfast, hot tofu and specialty ryukyu. There was a matcha and sweet service at check-in. It is good to spend a leisurely time walking to Lake Jinxi. I just felt that it was not as expensive.

How cost-effective it is. Small business. There is a pick-up service after 3pm. We will take you to the station when you leave. There are only 6 rooms. Basically no one is using the public hot springs. You can go in at any time. It is no different from private ones. The meals are like family dishes. There are Mandarin-speaking work-study students. No need to worry about communication problems.

We booked 2x Japanese rooms for 3 nights, over the rugby period. Obviously all hotels were charging a premium, but having booked 12 months in advance, at a cost of virtually £2,000 (excluding breakfast and dinner), I expected the hotel to be pretty good. The staff were very pleasant, but the communication was a problem - appreciate that this is our fault as much as theirs! The rooms were very shabby in our opinion, the furniture was badly marked and it didn't seem very clean. The worst problem was the smell in one of the rooms though, the staff told us it was from the tatami matting, but it clearly wasn't, as the other room had the same floorcovering and didn't smell. We ended up thinking it was the drains - but it was very unpleasant. The bathroom was pretty basic, and not well maintained - dirty grout around the tub etc. We stayed at 5 other hotels in Japan, and generally the standard was as expected - this was the only disappointment when considering cost vs. quality. The futons were more comfortable that I had expected - I slept really well.

It is a 5-story inn. To commemorate the anniversary of its founding 111, there was a free beer drink service in the lounge. It is a long-established inn in Yufuin Onsen. The customer service of the front desk staff was polite • and kind. I was able to answer the difference between Yufuin and Yufuin properly. I stayed in a large Japanese-style room on the 5 floor. When I opened the curtain, Mt. Yufu was approaching in front of me. The bathrooms are not unit-type, and the bath • Toilet • wash basins are independent. Supper is a summer Oitagawa kaiseki course. All the dishes were delicious. In particular, the dishes that left an impression on me were grilled on a Japanese black beef hoba miso ceramic plate. The warmed miso has a hoba scent, and the slightly sweet taste goes well with the beef. The more you want to refill it with an exquisite taste. Breakfast is buffet style. I was satisfied with the local menu of Oita Prefecture, including dango soup. There are two indoor baths in the large hot spring bath with a spacious space. There is also a whirlpool bath and a Louis Bosti hot water of the incense hot water. The open-air bath has natural rocks on the side facing the garden. The hot water temperature is a little hot and has a feeling of slimy. What is it in the indoor bath! Yunohana. Yunohana, which crystallized the hot spring ingredients, was in bloom in the bathtub. The hot spring is a good proof. I was able to stay at this hot spring inn and became a good memory of my husband and wife trip.

Staying at the hot spring hotel for one night in Yufuyuan is really a wonderful experience, especially in Caiyue Hall. Have the opportunity to come again, we are now worried about going to other places in Japan, can we find a hotel with a similar experience and the price is not particularly high? It is really difficult to get into the frugality. -First of all, Yufuin is a mountainous area, and there is luggage up and down the slope. It is never ten minutes on the navigation. The pro-test Caiyue Hall is really a phone hotel. There will be a business car to the station in a few minutes! -Picture 1: Whether it is a mountain view room, a restaurant on the first floor, or a public hot spring, you can see the scenery of Yubuyue, which varies in the morning and evening and at noon. -Picture 2: After soaking in the hot spring side, the conversation room has beer ice cream and mineral water coffee for free. After soaking in the hot spring, you need ice water. Although the ice cream is slightly sweet and greasy, it is just right to eat in the hot spring. Japanese guests are slightly afraid, so although the day of check-in is full, there are few people in the conversation room. -Figure 3: On the side of the check-in hall, it is necessary to mention that whether you check in or leave the store, all the staff stand in a row to greet and send off. We don't speak Japanese at all, and some staff speak English, which does not affect our experience. -Figure 4 to Figure 8 Dinner + Figure 9 Breakfast: Although the dinner is scheduled to start at 18:00 at the latest, there are also three tables of guests and all Japanese guests arrive later than 18:30, and the speed of serving is similar to ours, because there are many dinner dishes, the kitchen is also to be made together. Breakfast starts at 8:30 at the latest, because it is relatively simple, it really ends at 9 o'clock. - Picture 10 is the private soup map 11 is the hot spring introduction: public hot springs cannot be photographed, private soup is available at 3 pm to make an appointment in the afternoon and evening, and in the morning, you can make an appointment on the morning but close at 10 o'clock, and open at 3 pm. There are five private soups on the eleventh, and the two in the lower left corner are open-air. We have an appointment with Waki, but the most important thing is Ginjou because the name represents ”Yiqing”. . . Remember to call to make an appointment when you stay in the hotel in the room. Finally, on the day of our stay, more than a dozen rooms, basically all Japanese guests, may be related to the day is a Japanese holiday. But I still have to say that it is worth the experience!

Four people stay, the experience is very good, there is a swimming pool, hot spring facilities are all complete (free to see online). The sanitation is one star because there will be some bugs on the ceiling of the outdoor pool in the morning and noon, but when I come back at night, I don’t know if the staff has come or flew away. If you want to go to the pool during the day, there is pesticide on the table and you can spray it yourself.

The view from the entrance to the ryokan was very beautiful. You can also find large carp, small fish and small freshwater crabs. There were no Korean employees, but he skillfully used Google Translate, so there was no inconvenience in communication. The road to the family bath is really pretty. The large communal bath also has an open-air bath, and the hot spring water was of the highest quality. It was nice that the water pressure in the large bath shower was strong. The kaiseki meal itself is impressive. Parents liked it, and the children were able to eat well together. The cutlery set for kids is cute and my daughter enjoyed it. The breakfast was also of a much higher standard than the standard hotel breakfast. I was able to enjoy a healthy breakfast without any burden. There is a simple children's playroom on the first floor, and 4-5 year olds could have a good time. There is a charge for yukata for children. It was very cheap at about 1000 yen for 2 days. Ayukata was really cute. We stayed 2 nights in Mebaesou Ryokan. I was very worried because my parents were there, but fortunately, I had enough rest and ate delicious food. Thanks to the friendly staff, I was able to spend a pleasant trip. thank you It is recommended to buy snacks in advance at a nearby mart or convenience store after sightseeing in Yufuin. There are only vending machines near the ryokan. I plan to visit Iryokan again.

We (5 adults and 2 kids) stayed one night in Villa Touou. 2 staffers were already meeting us at the parking area who also directed us to drive to the villa right away. The check in was just done swiftly in the villa where the kids can settle down easily. The welcome snack was so delicious I regret I didn't finish the ones my other family members didn't consume. There was one standalone bedroom with 2 double beds facing a toilet (without bath). Then the master bedroom is connected to 1 tatami area and 1 tatami attic. With 7 of us, Ikkoten already set up 2 sets of mattresses in the attic and another 1 in the tatami area. With kids in a rainy weather, we appreciated a lot that the front desk called us before they drove to pick us up to head to the dining room. I guess each room/villa had their own private dining room. Only complaint is that our cars had to park a bit further up slope than the villa. And upon check out, while we were hoping we could drive our car to the front of the villa so that we could load our luggage easier, the hotel amenity car decided to restock our villas and occupied the front space of the villa. While we enjoyed the comfortable living room at night with our whole family, we also wished to try the smaller room where the in-room onsen could also enjoy the fantastic view. The onsen in Villa Touou does not have any view.

First of all, I was very satisfied with the location! It was nice that it was close to Yufuin Station and the bus terminal haha. And the owner was friendly and could communicate in English, so I was guided well! Above all, I went because of the hot springs, but they said that the family baths can only be used if a “child” is included..! We couldn't use the family bath because it didn't meet the requirements, so we used the public bath. However, since the public bath is only used by ryokan guests, we were satisfied that our family could use it almost privately for two days. In particular, I brought a grandmother in her 80s with me and she really enjoyed it! I requested breakfast, and I was able to choose between 8:00 and 8:30, and it was a really neat and clean Japanese home-cooked meal! I stayed for two days and was satisfied with the different types of side dishes and drinks. It seemed like they paid a lot of attention to hygiene, and I felt like I was treated well, so it was a really nice place to stay. Next time I go to Yufuin, this is a place I want to stay again! ☺️

This is the best hot water! I was fascinated by the word ”aoyu” while I was looking for an inn in Yufuin, and I chose this place. Even if it was called blue hot water, it was surprisingly transparent and beautiful hot water, gentle to the skin, and the best when it was seen in the vicinity. I also do stop-by hot water, so I recommend you to feel it even if you only have hot water. In fact, I didn't expect a meal (sorry for the inn). I was betrayed in a very delicious and good sense. In the evening, while watching Yufu Dake, the time to leave himself to the cry of Higrashi was also the best. If you go to Yufuin, of course, I decide to take care of you here again.

AAnonymous UserErr hello? This is one of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever been to. The staff were just amazingly nice, given me the full Japanese hospitality treatment. Limitless alcohol and drinks plus donuts in the morning for no extra charge. Facilities are well-kept and clean. The onsite onsen is top quality. And the property is located uphill overlooking the town. Honestly just highly recommend.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the Ryokan almost three months ago. And I still did not write a review. We stayed there almost by accident, as the Ryokan we intended to stay in had only a vacancy for one night. There was time pressure. So I accepted their suggestion of their colleagues. Maybe I would not have picked it if I had looked into it better as I prefer a traditional house and here the old house (badly damaged by an earthquake) has been erased and replaced with daring new architecture. Yet is turned out to be the best place of our trip, one of the best places I stayed in, and I have been in many places all over Japan. How to write a review that does justice to this special place ? A place that has all the old fashioned refinery, mastering the tradition of omotenashi, blending it perfectly with a young vibrant savoir-vivre, global art and gastronomy. |I cannot write a review. Please read all the other ones, I only want to say : thank you, arigato gozaimasu ありがとうございます

GGuest UserI stayed at ”yamachahana” for one night from October 15th (Sun). It has a very moist and calm atmosphere, and you can see Mt. Yufu in front of you from anywhere, and it is a 7-8 minute walk to Yunotsubo-dori and Lake Kinrin, so it is perfect for enjoying Yufuin while holding a basket. I think it's an inn. [About guest rooms] The guest rooms, which are separated from each building, are quaint, and the small diameter that approaches the room is also very nice. The rooms are very large and luxurious, with living rooms, bedrooms, hot springs and terrace separated. What I was worried about was that the distance from the next room was close, so I could hear the voice of the next room, the lighting was too dark overall, the rain leaked on the terrace, and the bed was uncomfortable. [About Onsen] The room has a stone indoor bath that two people can take slowly and a semi-open-air bath of wood for one person, so you can enjoy bathing at any time 24 hours. It was a simple spring, but it was a little numeric and it was a very pleasant hot spring. The hot water temperature was just right. [About meals] Japanese kaiseki dinner was served in a private room, and American breakfast was served for breakfast. The dishes that I feel particular about the appearance and vessels are very delicious dishes that stimulate the five senses, and I felt the level of Yufuin, but compared to that of a long-established luxury inn in Yufuin, I want you to do your best a little more. However, I think it is a big plus point that a certain drink was served as a free drink at dinner. [About service] The staff are all young, but I was able to tell that they were polite and hardworking, and it was a good service. Also, the service that allows late check-out until 13:00 at 2,200 yen per hour was a nice service for the cherry blossoms. However, I was confused that there was one male staff member who didn't know anything at the front desk.

Yyellowie8What a lovely place to have a retreat. It's away from the crowd but near the yufuin station....about 500 m. They don't have many rooms so it's quiet. Just outside the hotel is Lawson. Restaurants are also nearby. The hotel looks like a resort with beautiful landscaping. Staff is hospitable and although some don't speak very good English, they try their best. They allow us to keep our luggage at the lobby before check-in and after checkout. The hotel is simply generous with free drinks almost throughout the day and night, free usage of bicycles , beer and instant noodles are sold at a cheap price. It's a self contained hotel. Everything is there. The 4 private onsens are great. Rooms are clean but a bit cramped and it would be good if they have more hangers to hang clothes. A mirror on the wall would be better than a small table mirror. If you're not a cat lover, you might not be impressed when you see their cats walking on the food tables and sitting on the sofas. The small details like a note welcoming you and a photo of you at the end of the stay are why I would love to come back again.

GGuest UserYou can see Mt. Yufu from your room, and although the bath in your room is not open-air, you can enjoy an open view when you open the window. The layout of the room was simple and calming. It was a very nice inn with great attention to detail such as amenities and drink service. Although the food wasn't extravagant, it was just the right amount for middle-aged people like us, and there were free drinks, so we were able to enjoy the food and drinks without worrying about the price. The staff serving the food was also very attentive and had excellent customer service. I would like to stay there again if I have the chance.

Ssvezia2013The hotel is comfortable and perfectly Japanese style and many rooms are faced with the river, which is the relaxing noise. The hotel is also connected to the restaurant and the last day of our journey has given us a very pleasant top floor and the food has been superlative as often happens in Japan. The landscape is a good one to relax after the trekking on the yufuin mountain, with the pleasure of the country, attacked by tourists and souvenir stores but also to visit the surrounding landscape. I liked it very much and I would return to this structure without hesitation, where the young owner speaks a little English.

GGuest UserThis traditional but upscale Japanese hotel has amazing views overlooking Mount Yufu. We stayed at the Villas which are large rooms each with an outdoor small private onsen with great views of the mountain and countryside. It was so relaxing to soak in the private onsen and soak in the nature around. The villa was large and comfortable but the bedroom section was in an upper duplex with slightly steep stairs, which would be challenging for those with mobility issues. The other part of the hotel looks like it has more traditional rooms. The main reception and restaurant were both luxurious. Food (dinner and breakfast included) was superb with Japanese kaiseki for dinner and traditional breakfast set. The resort has 2 names: Okuyado Buaiso and Okuyufuin Kohgen Resort-this made it slightly confusing to find. Although prices are high (about US$500/night) I would highly recommend to stay here for the lovely experience.

KKelvin KeungFor dinner and breakfast, you have to go to the main building to pick up and drag them to your campsite. After eating, you must pick up the tableware and remaining food by yourself, pack them up, and bring them back to the main building for return. Good thing you don't have to clean the place yourself. At this price, I don't think it's worth it The food was okay, both steaks were delicious, but no drinks were included. If possible, buy some supplies at a convenience store There is no toilet in my room, so I have to go to the toilet in the main building. I was thinking that if the campground was full, there might not be enough toilets. In addition, in winter, walking from the room to the toilet through the open air is very unpleasant. If you just stay in the hotel and don’t have a barbecue meal, it’s not bad to try staying in a tent and enjoy a bath.

AAilvxingdehaimanI really like this hot spring hotel, except for the slightly inconvenient transportation (10 minutes walk to the station) and the fact that it does not provide meals. Everything else is almost perfect. I especially like the service in the store. Both the female manager and the young man in the store (I learned from chatting that he is the son of the boss) are very kind and friendly. The stay experience is excellent. Compared with other hot spring hotels in Yufuin, the room I stayed in is simply better because it has an indoor hot spring. I love it and will definitely go there again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserI didn't know there was such a facility because it was a place where I entered a little from the main road. This is my first time using it. It was a good deal because I checked in on Friday using the National Travel Assistance. The building was on a slope, the front desk was on the 4th floor, and the guest room was on the 2nd floor. It was a strange feeling that meals and hot springs climbed from the room to the upper floor. It used to be a public lodging, so I felt that the building was a little old with only one elevator. The room was spacious. The food may be inferior to the inns around here, but there was no shortage of quantity. Various sites said that meals were served in a tatami room, so I stopped wearing a yukata and made my own jersey, which was the correct answer. In December, when the temperature was low nationwide, the hot water in the open-air bath gets cold, so please use only the indoor bath. I think that the bathroom is large.
