Yufuin Kotobuki Hananosho

1. Overall, even though the facilities are outdated, there were no major issues staying here. 2. It's close to the station, but about a 20-minute walk to the arcade street. 3. Lake Kinrinko is roughly a 30-minute walk away. 4. The breakfast and dinner setup was decent, but the raw food was too fishy for me to eat. 5. I stayed for two nights, but on the last day, a cockroach larger than my thumb appeared. I couldn't rest comfortably and it was a difficult experience. 6. It's unlikely I'll return.

This onsen hotel is great! We opted for the half-board plan (dinner and breakfast included), which was super convenient. Although the hotel is a bit older, everything is very well-maintained. The shower pressure was excellent, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was really good. Japanese hotels are always clean, of course. It's also just a 5-minute walk (300 meters) from Yufuin Station. Overall, we were very satisfied with everything! 👍

Staying at a hot spring ryokan in Yufuin with dinner and breakfast included is so convenient and hassle-free. Jukaso Hotel in Yufuin was a great choice. The traditional Japanese garden setting creates a wonderful ambiance. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk directly from Yufuin Station, so even with luggage, it's no trouble at all. I booked a tatami Japanese-style room. It was spacious and clean with excellent natural light. Opening the window revealed mountain views and the greenery of the garden, making it very peaceful and restorative. The amenities were complete, and the double sinks in the bathroom were a thoughtful touch. The hot springs include both indoor and open-air baths. The water quality was pleasant and clean, and it was quiet with few people in the evening. Soaking in the onsen completely relaxed me.
