Mountain view Hotels in Cairns

The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The twin beds were a bit small for two adults, making it a bit snug. Overall, it's a good place with an excellent location. You can walk to the Rainforest Train, the Great Barrier Reef boat tours, and catch a bus to Palm Cove – everything is within walking distance. Popular restaurants and the night market are also just a stroll away. Getting a taxi is super convenient too. They even have drinking water available in the lobby. The only minor issue is the soundproofing; you can hear the shower from the next room quite clearly. Housekeeping was great, and I'd still recommend it overall.

Enjoyed my stay for 5 days. Buffet was good, staffs are friendly and helpful. Some of the pepper mills bit rusty in buffet area.  Room service people works every day ie. cleaning, changing towels and bed making.  Bathroom flushing stopped working, fixed in no time. Taps are bit older version not easy to operate.  Instructions to use the Lift should be displayed in the lift using Room keys, some elderly people were struggling inside the lift as i entering into the lift.  No exhaust in bathroom, so every time fog on the mirror. If we have Shuttle service to the Airport could have been much better considering it’s only 5 to 7 minutes drive. There is a Hotel van standing in front of the hotel but it serves only to the night market.  Overall I will come back.

The apartment has a wide view, and the interior is also very spacious. There is a cleaner to change the sheets and clean the room every day, but you must pay attention‼ ️There are mosquitoes, be sure to close the screens!

I stayed during my child's spring break. First of all, you should not mistake it for understanding that this is not a hotel, but an apartment. It's a very nice place if you can prepare your own things and buy them as needed. Good access to Cairns shopping centers and major facilities, no problem with rental car parking spaces, the pool is only for guests, so you can use it almost for charter, and you can use the veranda freely. Above all, I liked the owner's friendly greeting and wanted to stay more. We booked from the day before arrival because the flight from Japan was early in the morning, but we were able to tell us how to enter the room in advance by email, so we took a shower and rested and played well from the afternoon I was able to! What I'm glad I brought with me was body soap and soft tissue, and what I wanted was a tephron-processed frying pan? I can't think of anything in particular ... Basically, you can buy anything at the supermarket or the object shop opposite! Have a nice trip!

Stayed at Cairns Plaza for a few nights and found it comfortable and well located. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is one of its strongest points, right by the Esplanade, an easy walk to the wharf for Great Barrier Reef excursions, and around ten minutes on foot to the night markets and promenade. The room was very clean, genuinely spotless. No insects or critters at all, which really matters in this climate. It was spacious, with a fridge and a good sized balcony. My room had both sea and mountain views, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a solid and reliable hotel. Not luxury, but clean, comfortable, and very convenient for getting around Cairns.

The hotel room is large, the indoor facilities are complete, very close to the sea, although there is no beach, but you can take morning exercises along the coast. The city of Cairns is small and there are not many people, but every morning, many people who run in the morning on the beach will feel that their life is very pleasant. The hotel is not too far from the duty-free shops in the city center, and shopping is quite convenient. The service staff of the hotel was very good. We didn't arrive at the hotel when we arrived at the hotel, but we found us with a vacancy and gave us instant noodles for breakfast. It was very considerate. Overall praise!

First of all, this is not a 5* Hotel and is not trying to be. This is a budget place to stay and with that in mind, I thought it was great. The rooms were large enough, had a table and chairs, kettle, fridge, microwave, cutlery, the most amenities so far in 4 months of travelling. On top of that, there is a modest pool and a large cooking area that has utensils which was really useful for us budget travellers. The location is as good as we could have got, 30 mind walk to the train station and harbour, an hour walk from the airport. The place also has parking. Although - it was a little dirty and rusty in places - there were lots of tiny roaches which comes with the territory, but still worth mentioning - there were 3 floors in our block, each with a toilet, our toilet was cleaned but no toilet paper replenished for the 3 days we were there

The only regrettable hotel in Australia and New Zealand. Let me talk about the advantages firstly: it is close to the beach, only a few minutes walk, you can walk, no beach, and the sea water is cloudy. Walk to the city center for about half an hour and there are buses. Besides the disadvantages: the hotel is old, the Wi-Fi signal is often not available, the room is crammed, the kitchen operation table is next to the bed, and you have to be very careful when washing. There was also a striking warning-1,000 fines for triggering a smoke alarm. The swimming pool downstairs was completely unused, with leaves and unknown objects floating in it. The most frustrating thing is that the ants on the wall are all in the tea cup after returning for a while. At night I crawled into my neck! Will not go again.

The room here was good but we decided quite quickly to leave as the regular clientele were getting noisier and it was only 4pm.There were a lot of people loitering and apparently they were asked to leave by management. Also had a family member who had booked a room only to be told his room had an issue with the plumbing and it was suggested he sleep in our room, we should have left then in retrospect not 1 1/2 later

Overall it was a good hotel. Recommended for sightseeing. The facility was very clean and comfortable. I think the staff are very nice.
