"This is a pretty good hotel by local standards. It has a casino and the breakfast is decent, though it's a bit humid (which is typical for hotels in the Great Barrier Reef area). The room itself is very spacious, but the air conditioning blew directly on my head, making for an uncomfortable and restless sleep."

"Excellent! The pool is amazing, there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and the washer and dryer are very clean. The kids love the pool, but please note that they shouldn't be active after 9 pm as it might disturb the upstairs neighbors."

"Stayed for 2 nights with a friend. The staff were very kind and helpful! Even if you don't speak English, you can still communicate (there are Japanese-speaking staff too). The room had small ants, so it might bother some people. However, the bed and bathroom were clean. We arrived early in the morning and were allowed to wait in the guest room until our tour started! I'll definitely stay here again."

"Quite Central to where you need to be in Cairns. At first sight, the hotel looked quite crusty externally but the room (and interior) were fine. Breakfast was rather delicious. Pool looked ok but don’t actually go in as there was little cover from the sun i.e. additional deck chair umbrellas. Had to haggle for a late check-out (from 10am to 11am) but in the end, after using reason and logic, we got there… Overall a good experience"
