Cairns Plaza Hotel

The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The hairdryer was powerful, which was great for drying my hair quickly. When I went to bed early, I could hear the sounds of an outdoor party.

The suite is excellent for families. It's spacious, with balconies in both the living room and bedroom. It directly overlooks the children's playground across the street, and you can enjoy views of the sea and sunrise. A kettle, microwave, and tableware are provided, but note there are no cooking utensils. The front desk staff were all very friendly. They provide bath towels at any time during your stay; whether you're heading out to the Great Barrier Reef, playing at the water park across the street, or using the public pool, you can always pick up fresh towels from the front desk. The popular cafe directly across the street offers a discount if you show your hotel key card. The bathroom is internal (without a window), and the beds are quite soft.

Excellent location and very clean hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided a map and offered recommendations for local attractions and information about sea excursions. Our room even had a partial sea view.
