Exe Toscana ★★★★
"Hotel in a convenient location for us - close to the motorway, not far from the city center (20 min. walk). Convenient, large parking lot belonging to the hotel (entrance with a barrier). The windows of the rooms overlook either McDonalds and the motorway, or the supermarket parking lot (we definitely preferred the supermarket side). Unfortunately, we were forced to change rooms due to black mold by the window and mold on the wall - the hotel staff were very helpful and despite being fully booked, offered us another room. The rest of the stay went smoothly. As in most hotels in Italy, there was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, nor bottled water or glasses."
Albergo Celide ★★★★
"Good service"
Hotel Rex ★★★
"Older style hotel with all the courtesies and extras. You could not be located better near pisa centrale and main entrance through city wall. ********* office close by"
Dimora Le Tagliate Lucca ★★★
"Beautiful property, meticulously maintained and equipped with every comfort. The location is ideal for exploring Lucca on foot without needing a car. The welcome was excellent; we immediately felt at home."
Hotel la Luna ★★★
"Very good 3 star hotel located in the busy centre of Lucca but tucked away from the noise of the Main Street. The staff were excellent, the rooms clean and the breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay again."
Best Western Grand Hotel Guinigi ★★★★
"Great stay!"
Grand Universe Lucca, Autograph Collection ★★★★
"We only spent one night here but enjoyed our stay. Very well trained staff and property was beautiful- we had a great corner room overlooking the squares. Great breakfast- best cappuccino I had in Italy. Check in, luggage handler, wait staff were all exceptional. The room was great. Walking distance from the train station, the walls of the city and the rest of Lucca. So glad we were able to visit!"
Villa Catelli B&B ★★★
"What can I say. From the moment I booked I had great communication with Celeste the owner. Instructions to get into the property with our car were excellent, and get into our 2 rooms excellent as well. The BB is just fantastic. You can walk to Lucca without need to take the car and suffer. You can get parking outside ( there were spots available for free) but we decided to park in their garage. Breakfast was great too. Property is super clean, tidy and it feels like home. If Lucca is your destination THIS should be the place you stay."
Residenza Centro Storico ★★★
"Amazing room and location! Very spacious, comfortable and clean."

Hotel Villa Casanova
"We stayed at Hotel Casanova for ten days during our vacation in August 2023 and it was a wonderful experience. Our suite was approx. 60 qm in size and was equipped with a huge bathroom featuring old English style art deco solid shower, bath tub and other amenities. Furthermore the suite has a wodden floor, huge bed, air con, TV, mini bar and safe. The surrounding area of the hotel is wonderful, as the hotel is located on a hill in a pine forrest with a stunning view into the valley near Lucca especially from the infinity pool. As long as the weather was fine, we had breakfast outside next to the pool. The athmosphere is tranquillizing and relaxing. Our special thanks go to the superfriendly and helpful team of Hotel Casanova, Andrea, Michaela, Greta, Francesco and all the others. Mille grazie! Hopefully we will be back in the future! "
Villa Medea in Maggiano
Hotel Villa Cheli
"The Villa is beautiful, the pool area good, on the drive up to the Villa it looked great. Unfortunately almost everything about the place could be better. The room was ok, but dull. A great view for sure, but a tiny bathroom with an elbow bashing shower and sad thin towels. The aircon was noisy and not a match for the morning sun. Breakfast was lamentable. Self served either on a terrace that was not well shaded, or in a dull windowless dining room. Tables were not laid up at all, everything had to be carried out on a tray. A toaster that took an age and only toasted one side. Cheap produce, plastic cheese. The fruit selection varied from day today, if you were lucky there might be a ripe peach. Bread rolls that were a little stale, as if had if they had been frozen. Eggs were rubbery and not refilled if you got down towards the end of service. It was more like a cheap motel breakfast than a good hotel. We had dinner at the Hotel restaurant one evening. It was not good either. The main courses were only ok, the accompanying vegetables were dull. I sent back my starter as the melon was not ripe, an essential if the plate is only melon and ham, it came back with the same melon, but the rind had been removed. Unbelievable! No apologies were offered when I sent it back again. When we came to pay the bill at the end of our stay it was still on it. We felt that customer care was lacking at this Hotel. That corners were cut at almost every opportunity. It could have been great, but it really wasn’t. Oh and check out was at 10 am, really, so last century."
Villa Rinascimento Dependance
"The environment is very beautiful, the room is OK, it's not the main building but a row of simple rooms outside, not very soundproof, the hot water flow for showering is very small, the breakfast is very good, the service is also good, and the hospitality is very warm."
Hotel San Marco
"I stayed in Lucca for a few nights on a business trip and I was quite satisfied."
Villa Del Papa
"Wonderful estate, kept up super well with lots of attention to detail. It’s actually much bigger than one would expect. The owners live in the main building, which is nice. Their English is very well and they’ve got you covered when it comes to recommendations. We had rented an apartment, which is quite useful if you want to cook. The kitchen was quite equipped functionally but was missing a few essentials, like oil, salt/ pepper, a kitchen towel, or a small pot. Watch out: I you’re charged an additional 50€ in case you don’t clean it accurately at checkout. Air condition in the apartment is a plus, although we didn’t use it. There is construction going next door - the owners are remodeling another large villa. The construction noise during the day is quite significant. The village a conveniently located in between Pisa and Lucca. Super nice, but tiny - still everything’s there from a small for very store to a bakery and a pizzeria."
Villa Sunrise
"Very good, very quiet and safe, breakfast is full. Cycling can go to Luca City, there is a bicycle lane, don't worry"
New! -Verderame Rooms & Suite in Lucca
"Apartment located near the motorway exit. Very nice, with accessory kitchen, coffee machine with boiler included, refrigerator and freezer, a double room and bathroom provided with soap kit. Clean environment. Very nice host"
B&B Il Seminario
"It’s a nightmare. If I book this rotten room from your platform next time, I won’t use trip.com to book a room anymore."
Hotel Napoleon
"Not in the center, but in a good position near Lucca's walls. Fantastic and helpful staff, who helped us change the room, because in the first one we had to wash ourselves in the bathtub, repaired with silicone, placing our heads under the tap, since the shower was unusable. Acceptable breakfast, considered the price."
