The views are gorgeous and the local products a delight. The couple who own it are so helpful, he even helped me with my flat tyre. You do feel at complete peace and nothing was too much. We could not reccomend it any higher. "

"I stayed at Villa Cheli for one night in March 2024. The villa and location are stunning. All very nice from the outside. Management, in my opinion, has areas for improvement. In particular: - maintenance and cleaning of the room. - Breakfast. The offer is based on packaged products. Overall everything was fine, but with a little more attention it would be super!"

"We stayed in Villa Rinascimento for 4 days, it was our third visit. The house is gorgeous, a very old building and the loggia is like something out of Romeo and Juliet - you can look out at the beautiful landscape and sit and read and relax. Lucca is stunning and only a 15 min drive from the hotel but it feels like being in the middle of the countryside - calm and pretty and for example, you can do a 3 -4 hour walk into the hillside and woods from the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. Bedroom very clean. There is a swimming pool that opens later in the season. No complaints at all and would highly recommend for couples and for families!"

"We stayed at the property for 2 nights in early January 2025. The room was clean but quite small, with very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was clean and large, but the towels were very small, and some of the mirror lights were burned out. The room temperature wasn't very comfortable; the radiators were barely warm, and the heat pump (probably calibrated with a limiter) didn't heat the room sufficiently. Luckily, it wasn't freezing outside. The television (a brand I'd never heard of) was almost unusable due to the remote control not working, even with new batteries, except for 30cm ones. The Wi-Fi was very poor, only working intermittently. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the welcome was excellent even though we arrived early for check-in. The breakfast was average, the place was small, and the atmosphere was a bit cold. Although we were aware of this, we didn't like the €10.00 per day parking fee, which was truly excessive considering the property's location. Lucca's historic center is about a 25-30 minute walk away. very beautiful to visit and with many nice places where you can taste typical cuisine and find Tuscan artisan products."

"I have only one disappointment with this B&B and that was that we weren’t staying there longer! Throughout the booking and the stay, the owner was extremely helpful and recommended some lovely restaurants to visit locally as well as providing a warm and welcoming stay within his establishment. Rooms are beautifully decorated and have some of the nicest amenities I’ve seen from a hotel and an Italian style breakfast which he provides with some of the local delicacies to try. The B&B is in a quiet street in Lucca but is a short walk from the main tourist hotspots. After a long day out sightseeing you can come back here and relax on the private terrace with a glass (or two!) of wine from the selection provided - all of which are provided on a trust basis. When we’re back in Lucca I won’t hesitate than to book this place again!"
