JJ$Our stay at La Chiusa Delle Monache was truly special. The property feels like a beautiful home, full of charm and character. We stayed in the former horse’s house, thoughtfully transformed into a cozy and unique B&B—it was both comfortable and full of personality.
This is a genuine family-run place, and you can feel it in every detail. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, offering insightful tips about the area that made our visit even better. The whole family—mom, dad, and everyone—helps run the place, creating a warm, homey atmosphere.
Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade pastries from the mother’s recipe—absolutely delicious and easily my favorite part of the stay. As a thoughtful touch, she even gave us leftover pastries to take on the road, which we truly appreciated.
A heartfelt experience from start to finish—very impressive and highly recommended.

Mother-daughter weekend trip. Beautiful small boutique hotel with clean modern furnishings nd wonderful staff. Room was spacious with high quality toiletries. Free water in the room was missed but there was a pitcher with water and free cantucci cookies at all times. Breakfast was wonderful and location inside the city wall was perfect.

Alojamiento muy peculiar y bonito teníamos 2 habitaciones una doble y otra para 4 personas. La de 4 tenía 2 habitaciones muy grandes con el baño en el centro con ducha , bañera grande , 2 lavabos y todo lo necesario hasta planchas de pelo. Llegamos por la tarde y nos dejaron un sobre con las llaves y todo muy bien explicado. Muy buena comunicación por wasapearme con Marina. Desayuno rico y ubicación a unos 15 minutos al centro andando y con parking. En general todo perfecto

La struttura è in una posizione ottima, facile da raggiungere parcheggiando appena fuori le mura e comodissima per girare a piedi la città. L’hotel è pulito e le camere ben arredate. Abbiamo anche usufruito gratuitamente delle bici dell’hotel per fare un giro tra le vie e sopra le mura della città. Il punto forte è alla reception, Alessandro è stato molto accogliente e intelligente nel darci consigli su come spendere il nostro weekend a Lucca, da cosa visitare a dove mangiare ci ha fatto scoprire posti e persone magnifiche.

Actually everything was fine and really quiet and nice breakfast and 24 hour reception. There is a main building and a depandance, although close to each other, but there are a lot of stairs, so this hotel is not suitable for people who have difficulty walking. The rooms have their own air conditioning that works and is very easy to operate, which is fine.

This place was surprisingly nice in a really cool town that wasn't really on my radar. It's a short distance to the sights and some really good restaurants. It was a little challenging to check-in since the street doesn't have parking and it's hard to find, but ring the bell or connect earlier with the owner and it'll be smooth I'm sure. The parking on site was nice because it's protected from the street, but like all of Europe, pricey. There is also a breakfast option, but didn't spend the money to find out the quality. Rooms are of a really good size, great air conditioner, and bed is comfortable.

This is an older hotel, with large rooms and high pitches, complete basic facilities, large windows, and good ventilation and lighting. The hotel staff are warm and considerate, and are naturally considerate and provide a lot of help to travelers. The hotel's breakfast is a relatively simple Western-style breakfast, simple and delicious. Lucca is an ancient city, and the roads in the city are not easy to navigate, so it is most convenient for travelers who want to visit for a short time to stay in this hotel. It is accessible right out of the station, which is especially suitable for travelers with a lot of luggage. Don’t live deep in the ancient city with a large suitcase, as it will be very inconvenient to travel.

’Old style’ hotel with clean and ok room. Just perfect for stop if you are e.g. having early flight. Nice breakfast. Met only one person who spoke english. Maybe different siruautomaatit as the season starts.
