Libo Xiaoqikong Narada Resort
"This is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available."

"What a cosy and lovely minsu to stay in if you are planning to explore Xiaoqikong Scenic area! The minsu is only 5-10 minutes walk from the east entrance or the minsu will also arrange to bring you to and fro with a buggy ride. The chap at the reception, Xiao Feng, is especially friendly and is always happy to have a chat with the guests. He also arranged for free transport to bring us to and fro Libo railway station. The room has everything that we need - the shower water was warm, air-conditioner was comfortably cool and there is even a fridge! Place is also within walking distance to convenience stores and a food street. Thank you for the hospitality!"

"It's very close to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area – just a short walk to the East Gate! The owner and the receptionists were incredibly welcoming. They even provided welcome fruit, and the room was well-stocked with disposable towels. They also upgraded us to a room with a balcony and a view – a very pleasant experience. The bed was also very comfortable. Highly recommended if you're visiting Xiaoqikong!"

"A fantastic stay! The guesthouse's location is superb, incredibly close to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, just a 2-minute walk away. It's so convenient for both sightseeing and relaxation. There are also many restaurants and eateries nearby, very close to the Buyi Ethnic Street, offering everything from snacks and local specialties to KFC – no worries about food or lodging. The environment was also excellent, very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, and they provided disposable toilet seats and laundry detergent – very thoughtful! The guesthouse also has a small swimming pool and slide, convenient for families with children. The service was exceptional! There was free parking (about 200 meters from the guesthouse), they helped us with our luggage free of charge, recommended places to visit, and even gave us a souvenir as a parting gift. The service was truly warm and considerate – thank you so much! In short, staying here during your trip to Libo is definitely a great choice!"

"This is a fantastic guesthouse! First of all, the shuttle bus, a Denza D9, was very comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and upon arrival, a sumptuous afternoon tea and coffee were already prepared. The location is superb, right next to the wetland park, with amazing views! Enjoying afternoon tea in the pavilion was so relaxing! The rooms were clean, hygienic, and spacious! The optional barbecue in the evening was a pleasant surprise—the snowflake beef, pork belly, and chicken wings were superb, just as the owner said, all freshly bought local produce! And the prices were incredibly reasonable! Complimentary desserts were even delivered to the room in the evening! The breakfast the next morning was beautiful and delicious! The twice-cooked pork at lunchtime was amazing—it tasted like home cooking! We spent the whole afternoon and morning at the guesthouse, enjoying the swings and board games that the kids loved. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service! Our whole family said we'd definitely stay here again! The service is so genuine, even surpassing five-star hotels! I have to give it 95 points—I'm afraid 100 points would make them arrogant! 😍 Highly recommended!"

"I had booked another hotel in Libo, but when I drove to the lobby, it looked dark, so I immediately checked out. I searched on Ctrip and found Century Garden Hotel, which is located next to the Municipal Square. The parking lot is ample, and there is a large charging parking lot next to it. The two interns at the front desk were very professional and upgraded the room. The room was large, facing the Red Boat Square, with a good view. The hotel is not very new, but the basic facilities are well maintained, and the breakfast is also OK."

"If you travel to Maolan, staying at Shanyu B&B is a very good choice for you. Not to mention, the boss and the boss lady are sincere and enthusiastic, which makes your experience of staying in the B&B good. And the unique geographical location is also one of the advantages of Shanyu B&B. Shanyu B&B is located in the Maolan Ecological Tourism Scenic Area, at the entrance of Dongsai Village. Dongsai Village is surrounded by mountains and green forests, and a stream as green as a jade belt flows slowly through the middle of the village. The stream flows out of the village, winding through the trees outside the village, and seven or eight karst pools connected in a beaded manner appear. The pool is green and calm, sparkling, and the sound of the forest, water, birds and frogs are all famous. It is like a secret place hidden among the green mountains and green waters, which is intoxicating. Shanyu B&B is 613 meters away from Wuyan Bridge, 637 meters away from Qinglongtan, 1.2 kilometers away from Jinshi Cave, 3 kilometers away from Yaosuo Ancient Bridge, and 5 kilometers away from Latan Waterfall. At the same time, Dongsai Village is also one of the best choices for crossing primitive caves and hiking in primitive forests."

"This guesthouse is truly excellent, offering a fantastic experience. Many guesthouses around here don't include breakfast, but this one does, making it incredibly good value for money. The breakfast is a rich buffet with a variety of options like steamed buns, small steamed buns, soy milk, congee, sweet potatoes, corn, and fried dough sticks. The rice noodles with soup are particularly delicious; the flavor is incredibly fresh and I honestly think they're even better than what you find outside. The environment is also lovely, with a large courtyard out front where you can work or enjoy the scenery, and there's even a swing. It's very clean, and I really love the artistic design. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive. Five stars, I've already recommended it to my friends."
