The Xiaoqikong Bridge scenic area is higher in the west and lower in the east, so if you stay near the west gate, you can go downhill all the way and it is more relaxing.
I asked the boss, and he said that the hotel was newly renovated in 2024, with high standards, separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, a smart toilet, and a large area. The room doesn't have a newly renovated feel. Free parking is available and there are many restaurants around, some of which serve delicious food at a reasonable price. It is low season now and accommodation is cheap.
The hotel owner is a young man from Hunan who came here to start a business. Rent a house from a local and invest in renovation yourself. Therefore, the decoration and furniture of this hotel are of higher quality than those of hotels opened by locals. The owner said that the hotel furniture are all high-end furniture imported from Shunde Furniture Market in Guangdong. The bed is especially comfortable to sleep on, and the pillows, quilts and other bedding are also of top quality. The curtains block out light and open and close automatically, and the surrounding environment is very quiet. The room is clean and sanitary, with a balcony overlooking the mountains. The sun is shining brightly, and it's beautiful to drink tea and watch the mountains at sunset!
It is very suitable for self-driving tourism.
I suggest that the boss should not go it alone, but invite the boss’s wife to start a business together as early as possible, and take care of the daily operation and management of the hotel as their living! 😁😁

GGuest UserIt is indeed the smartest and cleanest homestay I have ever stayed in. I asked the boss. It was newly opened in the 25-year summer vacation. It was very refreshing and all disposable items. It is recommended that everyone come to live! And the homestay has an elevator, laundry and a smart toilet! The whole house can summon a small degree, which is very convenient!

It’s charming and beautiful. The hotel owner is super nice and arranged a hiking tour for us. The food is delicious. This is my favorite place in China for travel.

Because I am alone, the boss saw that I have been ordering takeaways and invited me to eat with them and sent me fruit many times to remind me of balanced nutrition. My ticket is two o'clock, and the boss not only agreed to late check-out but also drove me to the passenger terminal. In short, staying at this inn is very warm and worth recommending. GGuest UserThis Hanting decoration is very new, the shower room has hot water very quickly. The waiter has been taking the initiative to help look at the washing machine and dryer, tie everyone to wash and dry, and take the dryed clothes out of the bag does not hinder the process of queuing for laundry. This is really better than most hotels. Breakfast is small and full, peeled egg porridge soup powder fruit pastries vegetable drinks are all available. When I left, I also sent snacks on the road. This Hanting is very good value.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very new and our family room was very spacious and comfortable. The location is fantastic as it’s just a 5 minute walk down the street to the 小七孔 east gate entrance.
Service is friendly and there’s washing machine provided for free.
The only small issue is two small cockroaches appeared in the bathroom on our first night there. On our second day we were asked if we wanted the room tidied up which we said yes. Surprisingly when we came back only the bed was made and the floor and bathroom were not cleaned again. So do take note of that if you’re staying more than one night.
The price and value for this place is hard to beat. Overall it was still a good stay.

AAnonymous UserService: The proprietress was really nice; she even offered us some of her homemade bayberry drink. When it rained, she kindly helped us move our clothes under the shelter.
Environment: The guesthouse is situated on the commercial street directly opposite the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's just a few minutes' walk to the park entrance, making the location excellent. There are also a few parking spots available right outside, which is convenient for those driving.
Facilities: On the first floor, there's a small courtyard for drying clothes. The TV isn't a smart TV, and the shower runs on an electric water heater. The bathroom lacks a wet/dry separation and is very cramped. The shower head is uncomfortably close to both the toilet and the sink, and the storage shelf was broken. Overall, the bathroom is extremely basic. The sink's water pressure was far too strong; when I turned it on, water sprayed everywhere! A bathroom like this, reminiscent of a hostel's, really doesn't justify a price tag of over 300 RMB. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which gave me a headache at night. I'd recommend the owner install an air deflector.
Hygiene: Hygiene was just average. I'd suggest cleaning the bathroom door and especially the water cups – even if unused, the overall impression was quite unappetizing.
Finally: Finally, the room we stayed in looked nothing like the photos displayed on Ctrip. Perhaps the room shown in the pictures was given to other guests. The advertised room had enough space between the TV and bed to comfortably fit a small table with two chairs. Our room, however, was incredibly small; simply placing a suitcase between the bed and TV made it feel extremely cramped! It certainly didn't match the square footage mentioned in the description. I highly recommend separating these room types for sale from the promotional photos, as this is very misleading! The price wasn't cheap, yet the room quality was so poor...
