Guest UserThis hidden gem of a guesthouse deserves a perfect five-star rating! The location is absolutely fantastic; open the window and you're greeted by endless rolling hills. The environment is wonderfully tranquil and serene, a complete escape from the city's hustle and bustle – it's incredibly therapeutic.
The Instagrammable spots in the courtyard are truly delightful. The pink heart installation is perfect for photos, and combined with the whimsical decor and local-themed ornaments, every shot turns out to be stunning and atmospheric. It's great for both couples and friends to enjoy. The courtyard's greenery is lush and well-maintained, the anti-corrosion wood pathways are clean and tidy, and the lounge areas are soft and comfortable. After exploring, sitting down to enjoy the breeze and the mountain and water views is incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation!

Great facilities, toilet bowl will light up so that you can see it at night, has an AI where you can speak and tell it to off lights or on lights or just chat with it. Big space and big bed, nice TV with sows to watch. The owner and his kids and nephew are very good to guests. The breakfast is noodles which tastes great. Have hot soy bean for breakfast too. Owner is nice enough to book train tickets for me where I need to pay him back. Totally 10/10. Great amenities, thick slippers and good toiletries. The owner even gave me lunch which he is eating with his family when I just arrived at lunch time. He even gave me 2 oranges when I am leaving the place. Location is great. No complains. For the price, just choose this. It’s awesome.

Guest UserThe room was quite spacious, and the public facilities were well-equipped. Upon check-in, we received complimentary welcome fruit, afternoon tea, and a late-night sweet soup. We even got a souvenir upon check-out. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, always ready to assist with anything, including providing travel tips and luggage service, which was truly impressive. The 24-hour online service group made communication convenient at any time. The staff were warm and friendly, paying close attention to detail, making both check-in and check-out processes smooth. The Yao bath specialty service added an extra layer of comfort.

Guest UserThis time in Libo, I stumbled upon a great guesthouse. From an environmental perspective, it's not huge but has a very personal touch. Built into the hillside and backing onto the Zhangjiang River, it's a quiet and secluded retreat – truly refreshing. Waking up to a rooster crowing in the morning and falling asleep to the sound of crickets at night, with mountains and water right outside your door – it’s a big thumbs up from me.
Now, let's talk about the amenities – there's a lot to say! While everyone else was visiting the main attractions, we were exploring the back mountain, enjoying the beauty of an 'empty mountain with no one in sight.' We caught rabbits, picked fruit, chased butterflies, did some rubbings, and played house. The kids were sweaty but absolutely delighted, having such a great time they forgot all about home. No crowds, double the relaxation, deep breaths of fresh air, and a slow pace – another big thumbs up.
Often, the unexpected sights you encounter on a trip are far more charming than anything you plan for. Spontaneous, natural relaxation is truly the meaning of travel!

Guest UserThe guesthouse boasts an excellent location, right in the heart of Libo Ancient Town. The lady at the front desk provided exceptional service, thoroughly explaining everything we needed to know for our visits to the scenic spots. A special mention for the complimentary handmade fruit jelly – my sons absolutely raved about it!

Guest UserWe booked this guesthouse because we decided to visit Xiaoqikong on short notice, so the price was relatively high. However, the room was very new and soundproof. The guesthouse is only a few minutes' drive from the west gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. There are many restaurants nearby, and the prices are clearly marked for you to choose from. There are basketball games and bonfire parties in town in the evening.

Our first stop on our Chinese New Year trip to Guizhou. The guesthouse was clean and hygienic, with free sugar oranges in the lobby. There's a charming little garden outside where my child loved playing on the swing. Our room was tidy and came with a smart toilet. On New Year's Eve, we could see fireworks filling the sky from our room, though my child had already fallen asleep. The owner helped us with our luggage, and his mother even made us minced pork noodles for breakfast. The first driver we met in Guizhou was very friendly, our first B&B was spotless, and our first meal was amazing. It was a wonderful start to our trip. Libo, we'll definitely come back if we get the chance!

The disposable bath towels in the room are a plus, but it’s useless to take a shower after playing rafting hahaha. I like cats, dogs and enthusiastic people. The persimmon tree outside the village is super beautiful.

Guest UserWe stayed here for a few nights. Overall, it was a positive experience.
Check-in: Smooth and easy. We were greeted warmly, and upon arrival, our room was upgraded — a nice bonus.
Room: Clean, with good-quality bedding. The room had everything we needed: air conditioning, towels, toiletries, bottled water, and a projector. Housekeeping was done daily and wasn't intrusive — we could stay in the room if we wanted. When we arrived, the weather was cold outside, so we slept under two blankets — it was warm enough. Hot water was sufficient for two people as long as we didn't shower for too long.
Location: Very convenient — just a few minutes' walk to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area and the bus stop. Plenty of places to eat, grab a drink, and buy daily necessities are nearby.
Noise level: We slept really well — it was quiet and peaceful, with only birdsong in the morning. There was construction going on near the hotel during our stay, but it wasn't disruptive at all; no noise in the morning or evening.
Drawbacks:
· There was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. If you're sensitive to smoke, it's worth asking for a non-smoking room when booking.
· Although the room was clean, it was clear that the hotel is a bit older — not brand new, but still well-maintained.
Overall, if you're looking for a clean, budget-friendly option with a great location for visiting Xiaoqikong, this is a solid choice. We were happy with our stay.

Anonymous UserService: The proprietress was really nice; she even offered us some of her homemade bayberry drink. When it rained, she kindly helped us move our clothes under the shelter.
Environment: The guesthouse is situated on the commercial street directly opposite the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's just a few minutes' walk to the park entrance, making the location excellent. There are also a few parking spots available right outside, which is convenient for those driving.
Facilities: On the first floor, there's a small courtyard for drying clothes. The TV isn't a smart TV, and the shower runs on an electric water heater. The bathroom lacks a wet/dry separation and is very cramped. The shower head is uncomfortably close to both the toilet and the sink, and the storage shelf was broken. Overall, the bathroom is extremely basic. The sink's water pressure was far too strong; when I turned it on, water sprayed everywhere! A bathroom like this, reminiscent of a hostel's, really doesn't justify a price tag of over 300 RMB. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which gave me a headache at night. I'd recommend the owner install an air deflector.
Hygiene: Hygiene was just average. I'd suggest cleaning the bathroom door and especially the water cups – even if unused, the overall impression was quite unappetizing.
Finally: Finally, the room we stayed in looked nothing like the photos displayed on Ctrip. Perhaps the room shown in the pictures was given to other guests. The advertised room had enough space between the TV and bed to comfortably fit a small table with two chairs. Our room, however, was incredibly small; simply placing a suitcase between the bed and TV made it feel extremely cramped! It certainly didn't match the square footage mentioned in the description. I highly recommend separating these room types for sale from the promotional photos, as this is very misleading! The price wasn't cheap, yet the room quality was so poor...
