Of all the places I visited on this trip, Libo was the most satisfying. Before coming to Guizhou, I rarely chose guesthouses, whether for business or leisure, because the quality of a guesthouse really tests the owner's ability and character, including key aspects such as cleanliness, price, and reasonable room conditions. Yu She's rooms were excellent in terms of layout and cleanliness, the view from the windows was beautiful, and the common areas were well-equipped and well-furnished. I really liked the wet rice noodles for breakfast. Getting around, taking taxis, and finding restaurants nearby were all very convenient. It was also very quiet at night, which was great for light sleepers. I'm very grateful to the owner for the complimentary bayberry soup. I will definitely visit Libo again if I have the chance!

The B&B has a minimalist yet sophisticated design, blending modern architecture with the cultural elements of the Qiannan ethnic minorities. The entrance is grand and clean, and the spacious area in front makes parking very convenient. Stepping out, you're right in the Mengliu Buyi Ethnic Town, with the Wind and Rain Bridge and the popular heart-shaped photo wall just a few minutes' walk away—perfect for amazing pictures. It's also a very short drive to the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, making travel super hassle-free.

I highly recommend this guesthouse! It's absolutely fantastic! The environment is amazing, and I felt incredibly comfortable as soon as I checked in. It's super close to the scenic area entrance, just a short walk away, so no hassle at all! There are restaurants and all sorts of food options nearby, making dining incredibly convenient! The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer any questions – their service is super attentive! The breakfast was also incredibly plentiful and delicious; I was so satisfied! They even provided a fruit platter in the room – such thoughtful details! The biggest surprise was how spacious their common area is! After a tiring day of sightseeing, I could simply relax on the sofa in the common area while waiting for my ride – it was so relaxing! The overall experience felt like being at home! I had a truly wonderful stay this time and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

I'm giving this a full five stars! I came alone during the off-season and booked a day in advance. As soon as I contacted the hotel, they immediately started their concierge service – arranging pick-ups and drop-offs from the station and attractions, and even upgrading my room. The 4th-floor room with a large terrace offered beautiful, quiet views. The hotel's location is peaceful yet incredibly close to all the sights, and they provided great local tips. The service was exceptionally thoughtful, and both the afternoon tea and breakfast were abundant and delicious. The cleanliness was excellent, with disposable bath towels and towel sets provided, and the bedding was very comfortable. The weather was perfect; I even saw morning mist and the sunrise from the terrace. The Yao-style foot bath was just what I needed – after visiting the waterfall and then Daqikong, coming back from exploring the ancient village in the evening and soaking my feet meant I was ready to go again the next day! It was a very comfortable two-day, one-night stay. Everyone I encountered – the concierge, front desk staff, drivers, and the guides and boatmen at the scenic spots – were all wonderful. Thank you for your hard work! I'll definitely be back next time!!!

Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay. From check-in, the front desk staff were very welcoming, and the housekeeper Xiao Ting was highly efficient. The room was clean and comfortable, with good attention to detail in the hygiene, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a very restful sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the hot water was stable, and the toiletries were comprehensive. The hotel environment was quiet, and transportation and dining options nearby were very convenient. The service throughout my stay was very attentive and made me feel very comfortable. It's a great choice for both business trips and leisure stays. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit and will also recommend it to my friends. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have to commend this B&B. After extensive research and reviews online, I chose this one, and it was absolutely worth it! The pick-up service was very thoughtful. It's quiet and clean. The room facilities are both practical and comprehensive, with a dryer and a bathtub by the window, offering natural scenic views. All the bathroom fixtures are Kohler, which for this price point, is top-notch. The front desk staff provided excellent and attentive service. Personally, I feel room 301 is the quietest and most comfortable. The soundproofing is also superb! Highly recommend!!! Service: They even included tickets to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, which has stunning views. We had a great time, and if I get the chance to visit Libo again, I'll definitely choose this place.

The room was nice. Service: Very good, they even helped prepare simple food for my child, which was very convenient when traveling with kids. Environment: Excellent. The housekeeper was great, they upgraded us to a family room for free. They also helped with our luggage and were quick to respond to any issues. There are toys like water guns available for kids to borrow and play with at Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. They also have a dryer and laundry room. Breakfast was light and tasty. My child loved the wooden rocking horse. There's also chess, a tea room, and a guqin or guzheng (I'm not sure which, but it was nice). The light wood decor gives a very comfortable feel.

The room may have just been renovated, there is a strong pungent smell, and the window glass is still full of white ash dust. There are many varieties of breakfast, and the soup noodles taste really good. Parking is in the yard, very spacious. The front desk service is good!

Facilities: It seems many guesthouses here don't have elevators, but this one does, so no need to carry heavy luggage up stairs, which is great! 😁😁 The smart toilet was also a pleasant surprise. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy, extremely satisfied. Environment: There's a small courtyard with a beautiful bougainvillea archway. Lots of stars at night, and the windows offer views of distant mountains and water—a truly picturesque scene. Service: The park was closed for the past two days, but the owner called us in advance to let us know, and we still came as planned. Since many shops were closed and we couldn't find anything to eat, the owner personally cooked noodles for us—super delicious! We loved it! We also got to enjoy some tea from the owner 😏 The owner even upgraded our room for free! We didn't see the Big and Small Seven Arches this time, but we'll definitely come back next time and stay here again!
