"Our stay at the Grand Skylight Hotel in Libo, Guizhou, was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect, with a private, convenient passage directly to the Xiaoqikong scenic area, making sightseeing incredibly easy and stress-free. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with a refined and tidy layout. Anna at the front desk was exceptionally thoughtful, attentive, and enthusiastic. All the staff were very accommodating, patiently answering all our questions with professional and warm service. The overall environment, facilities, and service were impeccable. This is definitely our top choice for a vacation stay in Xiaoqikong, and we'll certainly choose this hotel again for our next visit!"

"This is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available."

"This stay experience really exceeded expectations, the overall experience is full, you must recommend this hotel! The service is in place, the price is super high, and it is particularly comfortable after staying. First of all, I have to praise the hotel's parking service. It has its own super-exclusive parking lot and charging piles. Although it is not fast charging, it is completely enough. You don't have to worry about finding a parking space when you drive. There is also a special person to guide parking, which is particularly friendly for tourists traveling by car, worry-free and convenient, greatly improving the travel experience. The hotel's breakfast is also very pleasant. The dishes are rich and varied, fresh and exquisite, hot dishes, miscellaneous grains, pasta, porridge, fruit, and drinks are all available. The meat and vegetables are reasonable and the taste is suitable for the public. The ingredients are fresh and authentic, and the filling is very fast, the whole process is clean and tidy, and you can get up early to eat a hearty and warm breakfast, full of happiness. The most important thing to praise is the hotel butler Xiao Zhou, very enthusiastic, any problems in the room can be solved very well after check-in, and very intimate to help us make an afternoon tea reservation, the hotel's leisure facilities, Tangquan and swimming pool experience is excellent, but Tangquan is in the room, not public, Overall, this hotel is still good, it is the best hotel in Ximen, and I will choose here first next time!"

"The hotel service was absolutely fantastic, making us feel like royalty for two whole days! 😂 They provided transportation to and from the scenic spots daily, and we even got to enjoy a lovely foot bath in the evenings. Our room offered a stunning view of the Zhangjiang River, surrounded by lush greenery, which was incredibly refreshing. The complimentary BBQ was super fresh, and the beef noodles for breakfast were hands down the best we had throughout our entire Guizhou trip! The only minor downside was the bathroom layout – it felt a bit cramped, and the doors for the shower and toilet were awkwardly close. Also, the sink drained a bit slowly. However, these small issues didn't detract from the overall excellent experience. This guesthouse is highly recommended! 👍"

"Perfect for a family getaway. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and their service was exceptionally thoughtful. We had a child with us, and they didn't charge extra for the food our little one ordered. Overall, it offers great value for money. The package included afternoon tea, a Yao ethnic group bath, and a barbecue in the evening. Staying in the courtyard made time feel like it slowed down, and enjoying a barbecue and a drink in the evening was incredibly relaxing. It’s ideal for escaping the city."

"The location is excellent – within walking distance to the business district, yet the hotel itself is tucked away in a quiet spot. The service was also fantastic; the staff were very friendly and always eager to help. I even forgot my room card when checking out, but they handled it smoothly without an issue. The biggest surprise was catching the official drone show and fireworks display right next to the hotel; the hotel offers a perfect viewing spot!"

"This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The parking lot is spacious, and best of all, they even have a gym. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the cleanliness is top-notch – the sheets and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast offered a wide variety, and the front desk service was very thoughtful. Any issues we had, the hotel staff actively helped resolve them. For the same price point, I think their value for money is really high. Getting a peaceful and wonderful night's sleep meant I was full of energy for sightseeing the next day. Highly recommend, highly recommend, highly recommend!"

"The hotel is very new, yet unassuming. The amenities are all well-known brands, including a smart toilet, Xiaomi air purifier, and oversized bathtub. We were fortunately upgraded to a better room with a new massage chair, which was incredibly relaxing and perfect for us exhausted after touring the Xiaoqikong Caves! The service was excellent. Booking with Ctrip included one pick-up at the station and one at the attractions. We visited the Xiaoqikong Caves and Xiaoqikong Caves over two days, and the hotel provided transportation throughout. We wanted to take a taxi on the second trip, but the hotel manager proactively contacted us and arranged a pick-up time. Such a thoughtful gesture! The afternoon tea and breakfast were both exquisite and delicious. The hotel also has two small outdoor pools, perfect for the kids to play in. The entire hotel feels boutique and high-end. It's super clean, the service is excellent, and it's simply amazing!"

"I had booked another hotel in Libo, but when I drove to the lobby, it looked dark, so I immediately checked out. I searched on Ctrip and found Century Garden Hotel, which is located next to the Municipal Square. The parking lot is ample, and there is a large charging parking lot next to it. The two interns at the front desk were very professional and upgraded the room. The room was large, facing the Red Boat Square, with a good view. The hotel is not very new, but the basic facilities are well maintained, and the breakfast is also OK."

"🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!"
