Decided to extend another night as the 小七孔 pass ( rmb 160) is valid for 7 days and bus ride for 2 days (part of the rmb 160)

This B&B is very nice! The room was spacious and clean. The landlady saw that we had two children and an elderly person in one room, so she upgraded me to a standard room with a 1.5-meter bed. There are many delicious restaurants around the B&B. We stayed for two days and chose 3 different restaurants, all of which were only a few minutes' walk away, very convenient. Because we couldn't get tickets to Huangguoshu National Park, we changed our itinerary and the boss lady recommended that we go to Maolan National Forest Park. The children also liked it very much. The next day, my throat coughed and sputum. If you open the window in advance for ventilation, air conditioning for half an hour in advance may be good. Housekeeping was done daily and wasn't intrusive — we could stay in the room if we wanted. When we arrived, the weather was cold outside, so we slept under two blankets — it was warm enough. Hot water was sufficient for two people as long as we didn't shower for too long. Location: Very convenient — just a few minutes' walk to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area and the bus stop. Plenty of places to eat, grab a drink, and buy daily necessities are nearby. Noise level: We slept really well — it was quiet and peaceful, with only birdsong in the morning. There was construction going on near the hotel during our stay, but it wasn't disruptive at all; no noise in the morning or evening. Drawbacks: · There was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. If you're sensitive to smoke, it's worth asking for a non-smoking room when booking. · Although the room was clean, it was clear that the hotel is a bit older — not brand new, but still well-maintained. Overall, if you're looking for a clean, budget-friendly option with a great location for visiting Xiaoqikong, this is a solid choice. We were happy with our stay.

The sink's water pressure was far too strong; when I turned it on, water sprayed everywhere! A bathroom like this, reminiscent of a hostel's, really doesn't justify a price tag of over 300 RMB. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which gave me a headache at night. I'd recommend the owner install an air deflector. Hygiene: Hygiene was just average. I'd suggest cleaning the bathroom door and especially the water cups – even if unused, the overall impression was quite unappetizing. Finally: Finally, the room we stayed in looked nothing like the photos displayed on Ctrip. Perhaps the room shown in the pictures was given to other guests. The advertised room had enough space between the TV and bed to comfortably fit a small table with two chairs. Our room, however, was incredibly small; simply placing a suitcase between the bed and TV made it feel extremely cramped! It certainly didn't match the square footage mentioned in the description. I highly recommend separating these room types for sale from the promotional photos, as this is very misleading! The price wasn't cheap, yet the room quality was so poor...
