DDanica❤️Seriously can't recommend this hotel enough! The environment is great, very clean, and the breakfast is fantastic, especially the beef noodles – generous portions and delicious. The hotel's location is also superb, making it easy to get anywhere.

GGuest UserThis stay completely exceeded my expectations! The guesthouse's common areas are designed so comfortably, with a clean and soothing natural wood-style lounge area that's perfect for chatting or reading. The room details are also spot-on – clean, tidy, and with bedding so comfortable you won't want to get up.
The biggest surprise was the scenery in the courtyard. The pavilions and rockeries, paired with lush greenery, made strolling around feel like wandering through a small Jiangnan garden, creating an absolutely incredible atmosphere. The owner and staff were all super enthusiastic and accommodating, always ready to help and recommending great local spots to eat and explore, which were all fantastic.
I had a comfortable stay and a wonderful time. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to everyone!

I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs.
The Highlights:
The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue.
The Downsides:
However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived.
Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

GGuest UserThis time I came to Maolan Forest to play, and the homestay I booked completely exceeded expectations. It was definitely a surprise choice for this trip! First of all, the sanitary condition is particularly reassuring. The room is spotless, and the towels and toiletries are neatly arranged. It can be seen that the cleaning is very careful. It is really rare to be so clean in the mountains. The boss is very enthusiastic and really started to help me ask about carpooling and arrange the itinerary before I arrived. You can also eat freshly made farmhouse meals, and the taste is authentic. The boss will also arrange pick-up and drop-off when going to the attractions, and will also ask to drink local wine when eating. The most important thing is that the price is really affordable. This price can live in such a clean, service-friendly room in the scenic spot, and the price/performance ratio is directly full. The location is also convenient, not far from Qinglongtan and Wuyan Bridge, you can walk to the hiking entrance in a few minutes. Next time I come to Maolan, I will definitely stay here, I really recommend it to friends who come to play!

GGuest UserA very satisfying stay! The hotel is conveniently located near the ancient town. The front desk lady thoughtfully selected a room for us that wasn't facing the street. It was quiet and provided a good night's sleep. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright. It was the most spacious and comfortable room we've ever experienced in our many Hanting stays.
The amenities were complete, the bedding was comfortable, and the hotel's ambiance was lovely. It was a great value, and parking was convenient. I highly recommend staying here.
The front desk lady and the handsome guy even requested a complimentary breakfast for us. It was rich and delicious. The service lady was warm and attentive. We were very satisfied. From check-in to check-out, the experience was wonderful and deserves a five-star rating!

EE-LMYStayed 3 nights in 山水谈. Personally I liked the decor of the homestay lobby and dinning area. The photos of the original room-Superior Smart Room - Mountain View that we booked on the 4th floor were misleading. It was an attic room with a slanted roof and a small window where some would feel claustrophobic, not big at all as shown on the photos. Fortunately we were allowed a room upgrade by booking via Trip.com and checked in to a room on the 2nd floor.
Location wise, it was excellent as it was only a 10-minutes walk to 小七孔. Housekeeping was done daily and nicely. There was also complimentary laundry provided. Breakfast was sumptuous with good varieties. We were also picked up and dropped off at Libo HST Station.
A feedback would be more warmth would be nice from the male staff.

HHuiziyanOur first stop on our Chinese New Year trip to Guizhou. The guesthouse was clean and hygienic, with free sugar oranges in the lobby. There's a charming little garden outside where my child loved playing on the swing. Our room was tidy and came with a smart toilet. On New Year's Eve, we could see fireworks filling the sky from our room, though my child had already fallen asleep. The owner helped us with our luggage, and his mother even made us minced pork noodles for breakfast. The first driver we met in Guizhou was very friendly, our first B&B was spotless, and our first meal was amazing. It was a wonderful start to our trip. Libo, we'll definitely come back if we get the chance!

GGuest UserFacilities: It seems many guesthouses here don't have elevators, but this one does, so no need to carry heavy luggage up stairs, which is great! 😁😁 The smart toilet was also a pleasant surprise.
Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy, extremely satisfied.
Environment: There's a small courtyard with a beautiful bougainvillea archway. Lots of stars at night, and the windows offer views of distant mountains and water—a truly picturesque scene.
Service: The park was closed for the past two days, but the owner called us in advance to let us know, and we still came as planned. Since many shops were closed and we couldn't find anything to eat, the owner personally cooked noodles for us—super delicious! We loved it! We also got to enjoy some tea from the owner 😏 The owner even upgraded our room for free! We didn't see the Big and Small Seven Arches this time, but we'll definitely come back next time and stay here again!

GGuest UserThe kid 小李 is really helpful. At first I was given a room that was at the adjacent tower and it was under renovation and dark hall ways and stairs. I asked if there was any room in the main block. After feeling disappointed for. While in the room, about 20 mins later, Xiao li informed me he spoke to his boss and gave me an upgraded room on the third floor and we moved. It was a far better well lit, big room with two double beds and good lighting. The only setbacks is that the shower drain is slow and water overflows back into the room. Hot shower was great. There’s no lift but xiao li was very eager to help me carry both my cases. He was just awesome with his willingness and customer service. Final the projector acreen over hangs the toilet and show cubicles and the power cables were loosely overhanging. Seemed that something can be done to rectify those few matters and will definitely make the room so so much better. Location wise is perfect and there is also the direct bus services to the city and the railway station, at very cheap price.
