Great
GGuest UserI stayed at Somerset Pattaya earlier in April for 2 nights, and as I mentioned in my previous review, Somerset Pattaya definitely lived up to my expectations. At the end of April, my flight back home got cancelled, so I decided to spend a few more days in Pattaya. Because of my great experience with Somerset Pattaya earlier that month, choosing to stay here again was an easy decision. The hotel is also very convenient for working remotely, with a good desk setup in the room, and its location close to Central Mall and many other places makes everything easily accessible. This second stay did not disappoint either. Unfortunately, I did not receive an upgrade this time, but everything still lived up to my expectations once again. The room was comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the service remained consistently good. For Pattaya, this is definitely my preferred hotel to stay at. The location, facilities, and proximity to everything are just perfect.

IIry5006The hotel facilities include a private beach with a children's water park and an on-land play center, which are very child-friendly for children under 14. You can stay and play at the hotel for several days without having to go out. We stayed in a family room with bunk beds, which added a lot of fun for families traveling with older children and alleviated concerns about young children sleeping alone. The hotel provides children's toiletries (see picture). We had a room at the very end of the left wing. It had two balconies, and the 180-degree sea view from one balcony was absolutely stunning. Please note that smoking is not allowed on the balcony, and violators will be fined. It's worth mentioning that perhaps because the hotel is a bit old, the shower water quality was very poor. Fortunately, I brought a filtered shower head; you can see from the picture what the filter looked like after two days of use. I suspect it's due to old pipes. Also, on the first day of check-in, the front desk informed me that the Ctrip price only included two people, even though I had confirmed that the bunk bed room type could accommodate four people. I had to pay an additional surcharge of over 5000🐷 for two nights at the front desk. After I confirmed that the fee included all breakfasts and services, the next day at breakfast, the staff again said that the room only included breakfast for two. This experience was very disappointing. For dining, the hotel has two buffet breakfast areas, one in each wing, on the Ba*****t floor, and you need to swipe your card to enter. They offer bread, salads, fruits, various egg dishes, congee, and hot dishes. Service will end after 10:30 AM, and food is usually cleared promptly at 11:00 AM. You can serve yourself ice cream. Directly across the road from the hotel entrance is a Tops supermarket where you can buy various snacks, milk, drinks, and beer, and it's open 24 hours. In the evening at 7:00 PM, there are food stalls in the alley across the road. I tried a highly recommended one for everyone; with about seven or eight dishes plus beer for 1800🐷, I think I can give an informed opinion. The fried chicken wings were delicious, and the stir-fried noodles were good, though not comparable to those in China. The curry squid was okay. Don't order shrimp or sweet and sour pork, as the shrimp were not fresh, and the pork ribs were very mediocre. Overall, just think of it as a night market street stall by a school, good for a quick fried rice or stir-fried noodles.

QQingmuweideningThe service was great, and the front desk staff was very gentle. Housekeeping didn't go through my luggage or take tips on their own, which was a relief. For showering, I recommend buying your own filter. The only downside was the lack of a table, which was a bit inconvenient.

GGuest UserThe hotel is large and spacious, with a lush, shady environment. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. The air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy, but when we informed the staff, they fixed it immediately. The swimming pool is huge, and the kids absolutely loved it!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Welcome World Beach Resort & Spa in Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, and I'd definitely recommend it. The hotel is located on Jomtien Beach, just across a small street from the ocean. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a lively area. The rooms are very spacious, and the twin beds are quite generous, about 1.25 meters wide each, so it didn't feel cramped even with two kids. The public areas of the hotel are also pretty good. There are three swimming pools, which kept the kids entertained for an entire afternoon. Around the hotel, you'll find 7-Eleven, snack stalls, and plenty of restaurants, making it very convenient. Most of the guests here are Russian, with very few Chinese visitors. Consequently, the breakfast largely caters to Western tastes, which wasn't quite to my liking. Overall, for the price, it's an excellent choice, especially for families with two children.

BBulletgreyPattaya is beautiful, and I booked this hotel based on recommendations from Xiaohongshu users. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Pattaya Beach. The stroll from the hotel to the beach is also very scenic. The price was quite cheap too. However, the hotel doesn't provide toiletries, and you're not allowed to bring outside food back to the room. Luckily, there's a 7-Eleven nearby where you can buy any toiletries you need. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided great service.

MMannyTravellerExcellent location along busy Soi Buakhao. Total of 3 buildings. My room was facing Soi Buakhao but i could not hear any street noises at night and had a peaceful sleep. Rooms were clean and function as expected with fast enough wifi for streaming movies and live sports on my tv box (self brought). Breakfast was plentiful but simple. Its cheaper to book a room with breakfast as the walk in price for breakfast is 250baht per person. Vending machines in every ground floor lobby for drinks and snacks. 2 sets of swimming pools and 1 small gym.

JJanaPikulikI recently stayed at a charming hotel that exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire property was. The cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. One of the best features of this hotel is its convenient location. It’s just a short walk to a variety of stores and restaurants, making it easy to grab a bite or do some shopping. Plus, the beach is only about 2 km away, which was perfect for my daily strolls by the shore. There's also a mall nearby for those who love exploring shops. Overall, my stay was delightful, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway!
