Hotels near Namdaemun Gate, Seoul

3rd stay at The Road. Really appreciate the washing machine & dryer. When taking the bus it is better set to/from at Namsan Tunnel 3 instead of Myeongdong Station exit 4.

Clean room, but the location is on the hill

Stayed for 3 nights. Location of hotel near to city hall bus stop and namdaemun market. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has cuckoo water filter, instant coffee and cups in front of reception. Electric kettle was not provided in room and also no windows. Size of room acceptable for two people.

OMG OMG OMG!!! I’VE NEVER REVIEWED A HOTEL THAT MET MY EXPECTATIONS!!! Okay first of all THIS GRACERY HOTEL IS DEFINITELY MY FAVOURITE AND OFC THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING A HOTEL REVIEW eventho I’ve been to korea more than 5-6 times in other different hotel but I’ve never gave any review after my stay. OKAY THIS IS WHY I LOVE THIS HOTEL! -FREE LOCKER TO STORE YOUR LUGGAGE IF YOU ARRIVED EARLIER BEFORE CHECKING IN?!?! INSANE BECAUSE PREVIOUS OTHER HOTELS HAVE TO PAY FOR IT😵💫😵💫😵💫 -CHECKED OUT AT 12pm!!! NOT 11AM BUT 12PM?!? GAWD I LOVE IT!! ITS RARE FOR THE HOTEL TO HAVE AN IRON BOARD! AND EVEN IF THEY DO WE HAVE TO ASK THE FRONT DESK TO BORROWED ONE AND RETURNED IN IMMEDIATELY?!?! BUT FOR THIS HOTEL?? THEY WERE INCLUDED WITHOUT ASKING FOR IT!!! SO MUCH LOVE FOR THE LESS TROUBLEEE😩😩 -DEODORANT AIRFRESHNER/FABRIC NOT MANY HOTELS HAVE THIS PLUS IF THEY DO THEY DINT SMELL THIS NICE!!! I WANNA KNOW THE BRAND OF THE FRESHENER ITS SO GOOD AND I LITERALLY SPRAYED IT EVERYWHERE AND EVERYDAY DURING MY STAYYYYY!! -MAGNETIC DOOR MAKEOVER?!?? THATS CRAZY BECAUSE OTHER HOTEL WILL USE EITHER A DIGITAL KIND OR HANGING ON THE DOOR HANDLE BUT FOR THIS HOTEL?!? ITS SO COOLL BECAUSE ITS MAGNETIC!! FFS IM SO EXCITED 😆 LIKE ACTUALLY EXCITED THAT I CALLED MY FRIEND AND BRAGGED ABOUT IT!! -FREE EYE MASK? NO HOTEL GAVE FREE EYE MASK?!? SO I USED IT AND IT FELT AMAZING AFTERWARDS!! —SEPARATE TOILET AND BATHROOM!! AS A GIRL SO DOESNT LIKE COMBINE WET AND DRY TOILET TOGETHER…THIS MAKES MY STAY SO MUCH HAPPY PLUS THE SINK IS LITERALLY OUTSIDE WHERE I CAN SEE THE VIEW AND MY BED (as a scaredy-cat person going solo i love the sink being that way) -PARTITION !!! YOU CAN CLOSE THE DOOR SO AT NIGHT YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK AT THE MIRROR REFLECTION !!! IM SO INLOVE WITH THIS!!! - THEY HAVE INTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE REMOTE!! IN ENGLISH TOO!! VERY CONVENIENT LIKE VERY VERYYY!! ANYWAYS ITS A SIGN FOR YOU TO BOOK THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR STAY! ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE A SOLO TRAVELER !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

hotel is a 10-15min walk away from either Dongdaemun or Euljiro 5-ga station, which was great for me, as long as there wasn't luggage involved. room was great for a solo traveller, had the basic stuff necessary like kettle and mini fridge. overall a good stay.

Second stay at this hotel, loved the location right across from Namdaemun market and a few blocks from Myeongdong and city Hall. Most staff is Friendly and welcoming, maid service is excellent. Love that there's a washing machine in the room, although dryer is in basement, didn't have a problem using it or having it being occupied. 2 elevators for use with rapid response. didn't run into many of the other guests either, so didn't have to wait because it was full. Definitely stay here if available.

Lobby staff were very patient and detailed in explaining the hotel facilities. The room was also very clean and well-soundproofed. I really look forward to staying here again.

Very clean and comfy, feels like home. You have every necessity and the staff would explain to you how to use everything. I absolutely adore the decorations and the view in the morning is just magnificent.

I spent only one night in Seoul and for me the room was very cozy, clean and warm ✨ check-in and checkout was super easy 👍🏼 you can communicate in English and chinese with the receptionist. By the way... 👇🏽 I wanna say THANKS to him ( the receptionist) that helped me to find my luggage that I left in the Uber car that night. Thank you so much for your help and patience 👍🏼 He speaks English an chinese 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I book the Line Brown Bear room for me and my daughter, it’s stunning and we love it so much!! We even played in the bath tub even though it’s cold weather. The room is spacious and clean, the room service is great. The only thing not too good is the wood in the bathroom make noise while walking and it’s mouldy. The front desk is helpful and friendly (with few extra staffs standing around to help with anything!) The check-in machine is another highlight! Special thanks to their sufficient reply on email and allowing us to park our luggages before our check-in date! Overall we had a fantastic experience!
