Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Myeongdong (Formerly Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun)

A very good hotel, clean and tidy. The location is excellent, just a 7-8 minute walk to Myeongdong. Right next to it is a street full of restaurants with lots of delicious food. It's also opposite Namdaemun Market, making it very convenient to get anywhere. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

The room was great, very spacious, and breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. The service was also top-notch, everyone was very polite. The location is superb, right next to a pedestrian street which makes shopping convenient, and Lotte Department Store is just a short walk away.

This was by far the best service I experienced in Korea. The front desk staff were generally very welcoming, especially the cleaning lady who was incredibly meticulous and thorough. She not only cleaned the room perfectly but also tidied up my scattered belongings and even left some Korean milk candies as a treat! 👍🏻 The hotel's location is quite good, with a food street right behind it, making it easy to find meals. The only downside was that I chose a room with a Namsan Tower view, but it was quite noisy at night due to being close to the street.

Although this hotel opened ten years ago in 2016, it doesn't feel old at all. The service is excellent, especially the cleaning lady, Kim Hye Gyedung, who is very nice and lovely, making you feel like family. We stayed for 4 consecutive days, and it was very convenient. It's definitely our top choice for traveling with kids.

If you want to be close to Myeongdong, there are many better options. This place is really too far, a bus stop away. It's tough walking that distance in Seoul, and the subway station is also far. The bus, however, is very close.

I stayed for three nights and had a wonderful experience every day. After a tiring day of exploring, I'd come back and head straight to the front desk for a free popsicle to sweeten things up, then unwind in my clean, quiet room. I'd then sink into the soft bed for a deep, restful sleep. In the morning, I'd enjoy a delicious breakfast. Courtyard by Marriott, a wonderful experience and warm memories, I love it! 🥰

The hotel is quite well-located, though it's a bit of a walk to the subway. It's convenient that Myeongdong, the Namsan cable car, Seoullo 7017, and the Cheonggyecheon Stream are all within a 15-minute walk. Gyeongbokgung Palace is about a 30-minute walk away. The hotel itself isn't new, but it's in good condition. The bed and linens are very good, the staff is attentive, and everything is clean. The room isn't very big, but there's enough space. You can always find something to eat for breakfast.

Came here with my wife and had a very comfortable stay. There's a convenience store right outside, and it's basically within walking distance to all the Myeongdong attractions. Lotte and Shinsegae department stores are also not far. We even got to catch a World Cup game while we were here!
