Hotels near Eulji-ro, Seoul

I stayed here alone and it was super clean! The bed was big and comfortable, and being able to watch YouTube was a huge plus. The bathroom and toilet were also spotless. There were two bottles of water in the fridge, which was a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel, so finding food isn't an issue at all, and there's a convenience store within walking distance too. For breakfast, I wanted to walk around, so I headed over to Gwangjang Market.

Hotel is Euljiro 3-ga Station, which is approximately a 4-minute walk from the hotel. Euljiro 4-ga Station is also located nearby, roughly 5 minutes away on foot. The hotel offers easy access to Myeongdong shopping area and Gwangjang Market. 2 convenivce stores located nearby, GS 25 and e-Mart. Checking out early? No concierge service to store your lugguage, but can pay 5,000 won for 4 hours at the luggage lockers just outside the hotel reception. Room a bit small, not perfect but ok. Particularly like the Samsung Air Dresser in the room. Helps a lot with our laundry needs. :)

No complaints, other than it being tough with heavy suitcases since there's no elevator. My room was right in front of the subway entrance! It was the kind of place where you take off your shoes at the entrance and put them in a shoe rack, but I wasn't sure how to use the shoe rack, so I just kept them in the room to avoid making a mess. The shower pressure was incredibly strong and easy to use, no complaints there either. Thank you!

The location and cleanliness are great. Storing my luggage under the bed was also easy. However, it seems like the second floor is a pub or karaoke bar. I was sleeping on the third floor and could hear the constant thumping music, even with earplugs in. I think avoiding weekend stays and the third floor might lessen the noise. Honestly, besides that, I was very satisfied.

We had a very pleasant stay at Extay Lounge Hotel. The location was excellent—just two bus stops away from Myeongdong, making it very convenient to explore the area without being right in the middle of the crowds. There’s also a convenience store nearby, and several restaurants right downstairs, which made grabbing food quick and easy. The hotel lounge was a nice bonus and a comfortable place to relax. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The space was also generous enough to comfortably accommodate four people, which can be hard to find in many city hotels. Overall, it was a convenient, comfortable stay, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

The accommodation looks exactly like the photos and is super clean! I really loved the view of Namsan Tower from the room, so romantic! The kitchen is well-equipped for a simple breakfast with toast, jam, milk, and orange juice. There's even a water dispenser, so I didn't have to drink the water I'd bought beforehand. The hairdryer has a strong airflow, and the bathroom is spotless! I had mistakenly thought there would be a TV, but there wasn't, so I couldn't watch videos at the accommodation and ended up watching them on my phone with my friend. Aside from that, the electric blanket was wonderfully warm, ensuring a cozy night's sleep. Free laundry and drying facilities are also available. There were a lot of international guests, which made it feel like I was abroad even though I was in Korea. One thing to note: there are many stairs from the entrance, so my friend and I struggled quite a bit with our heavy luggage when checking in. I'd only recommend it for those with light luggage. Lastly, the Bluetooth speaker in the living room was on all night, and the sound was quite disruptive. It's not that there's no soundproofing, but because it was so quiet in the early morning, the sound seemed even louder. My friends also asked what the noise was, and after investigating, we realized it was the speaker, so we turned it off and finally got some sleep.

The moment I stepped into The Designers Hotel in Jongno, soft carols and small Christmas decorations welcomed me, making it clear that I would be spending the holidays somewhere completely new. Outside, Seoul shimmered with tiny trees in café windows, warm street lights, and a crisp winter breeze. As I planned where to spend the New Year’s countdown, I explored DDP’s dazzling lights and the lively Dongdaemun streets, but Bosingak kept calling to me. Its blend of history, year-end calmness, and lingering Christmas atmosphere made it feel like the perfect place to greet the new year. Back at the hotel, my plans unexpectedly changed. I had booked only one night, but the staff were so warm and kind—asking about my first Korean winter and even offering directions to Bosingak—that it felt like receiving small Christmas gifts. Their sincerity, especially during the busy holiday season, left a real impression. My room was cozy, quiet, and spotless, with crisp white linens that felt like part of the winter scenery. After walking through cold night streets filled with Christmas decorations, sinking into the warm bed felt comforting, almost like living here rather than traveling. The washing machines and dryers in the lobby were another huge bonus, especially with thick winter clothes piling up. Jongno itself added to the charm. Outside the hotel were winter streets filled with coffee aromas, traces of Christmas decorations, and easy access to Seosulla-gil, Hipjiro, and Bosingak. Walking to the bell pavilion through this seasonal atmosphere became one of my favorite parts of the trip. What was meant to be a one-night stay naturally extended into more. The kindness of the staff, the peaceful room, the winter mood of Jongno, and the chance to spend both Christmas and New Year in Korea made the hotel feel like the perfect base for the season. Overall: The Designers Hotel Jongno isn’t about luxury—it’s about warmth, comfort, and genuine hospitality. Between my first Korean Christmas and the ringing of Bosingak’s New Year bell, this hotel became a place where I made winter memories I’ll always remember.

location is great, it's in betweet multiple train lines that are easy to get to. it's near the airport bus stop as well so you dont have to drag your luggage up and down stairs or anything. there's a gs25 and yoajung on the first floor of the building which is very convenient! room itself is great, might be slightly small for two people but for solo travellers i think its perfect! room had a functioning stove and crockery for you to cook and a lot of storage space. if you want to check in early you have to contact the staff on the day itself and ask if there's availability. I did that and they said i have to pay 10k/hr extra which is fine with me, so I went to their office to pay. when I got there I could hear the staff saying in korean that there's a foreigner standing outside (probably saw the cctv) and none of them wanted to come take my payment until i emailed and asked if anyone was going to come. they probably thought i cant understand them but i could so....it doesn't bother me that much but just letting other people know! overall i would still stay here again in the future but i'll try to keep all communication via text instead so the staff won't have to speak to me lol

An excellent choice for travellers who prioritise a central and accessible location. Close to a bunch of subway lines, the downtown core, and the city’s historic palaces. The communal facilities are practical and well-maintained, offering convenient extras like a microwave, a coffee machine, and washing and drying machine. While the dormitories are simple, they are clean and well maintained. It is worth noting that the bunk beds are a standard design without privacy screens, but for those who don't mind a the property provides a reliable and comfortable stay in a great area.

Transportation: Two bus lines stop right outside the hotel, one of which is the 6001 airport bus to Seoul Incheon. It's about a dozen stops to Gimpo Airport. While the subway station isn't far, it's quite a walk underground, taking at least 10 minutes to reach the turnstiles. Cleanliness: If you want your room cleaned, you need to hang the 'make up the room' sign on your door, otherwise, the cleaning staff won't come. Service: The front desk staff were all very helpful. Breakfast is 1000 Korean Won per person. Facilities: There's a machine at the front desk where you can buy transportation cards and SIM cards, exchange money, and even process in-hotel tax refunds. Another machine sells disposable toothbrushes, facial cleansers, and other convenient items. Overall: The hotel facilities are good, but it's a bit of a distance from the subway station. However, it's a good value for the price.
