Hotel PJ Myeongdong

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station, making transportation super convenient. The environment is clean and the room hygiene is great, with plenty of space. The service was very warm and enthusiastic. Plus, having two convenience stores downstairs is really handy.

Let's get straight to it – check out the picture! This hotel boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to Metro Lines 2 and 5 (Euljiro 4-ga or 3-ga, as shown in the image). The staff were incredibly patient and helpful. I was thoroughly impressed with the room; it was spacious with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, making for a very comfortable stay. They also offer shuttle bus services to Myeongdong and other popular spots, a complimentary mini-bar, and free luggage storage for up to 12 hours after check-out. The gentleman at the entrance even helped me load my luggage into the taxi. Highly recommend this place, five stars! 👍👍👍👍👍

We booked a signature twin room, and both beds were larger than expected. The double bed could comfortably fit 2 adults and 1 child 🤪. The room was very clean; although it's an older hotel, it had recently been renovated and had no strange odors. We stayed for 4 days, and they asked every day if we needed cleaning. The cleaning lady was very kind. The hotel doesn't provide toiletries, but disposable slippers were replaced every two days. You need to use your key card to access your floor and the accommodation area, which feels quite secure. In the public areas on each floor, there's an ice machine, hot and cold water dispenser, and a microwave. The room has a mini-bar available for free use, and each person receives one bottle of water daily, with drinks replenished every two days. There's a free shuttle bus to the commercial district that departs hourly, and there are three subway lines near the hotel, making transportation very convenient. From Gimpo Airport, you can take Line 5, get off at Euljiro 4-ga, Exit 10, and the hotel is a 5-minute walk. The room also has a garment steamer for drying clothes. Overall, we were very satisfied with our 4-night stay.

We booked two nights at this hotel. From the moment we arrived in the morning, we were met with extremely rude staff. My daughter had just sat down, trying to lean back and rest, when a hotel employee immediately yelled at her, telling her not to. We accepted that, but then while checking in, we were yelled at again by another staff member. The attitude was absolutely terrible. So even if the hotel were great, I would never stay here a second time. On top of all that, the air conditioning also had issues. The overall experience was extremely poor.

This was quite a disappointing booking for me. Before I booked, the hotel noted a 2-meter king bed plus a single bed, but when I checked in and lay down, I realized it was two single beds pushed together, with a big gap in the middle. It was really uncomfortable to sleep on. The room was right next to the elevator, so the soundproofing was terrible. Every morning, the housekeepers would start rattling their carts by the elevator entrance, making a huge amount of noise. It happened every single day. As for cleanliness, it wasn't thorough. Besides emptying the trash and making the bed, the hair on the floor wasn't even vacuumed up, which was quite frustrating. The room had a balcony, but when I stepped onto it, it looked like a slum. Sigh, I won't be booking this hotel again.

The room was very spacious and great, I loved it! The gentleman at the front desk with glasses provided excellent and patient service. He spoke Chinese fluently, which made communication very smooth. The privacy was also quite good, I'm very satisfied. The hotel also comes with a microwave, hot water, and you can even borrow umbrellas for free. There's a convenience store nearby, and it's actually quite convenient to get anywhere from here. I regret only booking for one day. I didn't take many photos, but I'll definitely stay here again next time I come to Korea.

I booked a triple room, and it was really good. The hotel is very clean, and the front desk staff speaks Chinese. It's a five-minute walk from the hotel to the subway. There are breakfast places in the alleys on both sides of the hotel. The earliest ones to open are in the alley directly opposite the hotel's main entrance; two of them open quite early, with customers already finishing up and leaving by 7:30 AM. They mainly serve soup dishes. If you walk straight out of the hotel's main entrance, cross the main road, and turn right, you'll find BHC fried chicken. On the left side, facing the hotel's main entrance, if you walk into the alley, there's Twotwo fried chicken, but it's closed on Sundays. Both of these fried chicken places are good. Take the hotel elevator to the first floor, exit, and turn left for a CU convenience store. Across the road, there's a GS25 convenience store.

We stayed in a quad room, which was a bit cramped, but the facilities were great. The hotel's location is also convenient, with bus line 245 right outside the door, making it easy to get anywhere. It's also very close to the airport shuttle. The front desk has staff who speak Chinese, so communication was smooth. There's an ice machine in the hallway (which is amazing!), a microwave, and hot and cold water available. It was a really good experience, and I'd choose to stay here again!
