I originally booked a windowless room on the basement level, but when we checked in at night, the friendly front desk staff upgraded us for free to a spacious room with a window on the second floor. The room was well-equipped, even with a bathtub, and the location was super convenient for getting to Tiananmen Square. Plus, it was close to Dashilar and Qianmen Street, two great pedestrian areas. It was a very satisfying stay.

the location is superb, near to Forbidden City attractions. walking distance to Wangfujing malls as well. our family bedroom is very spacious. love it so much, everyone is comfortable and we feel like home.
the staffs are very friendly, from the cleaner to the receptionist. we also go complimentaey 1 carton bottles of water coz i asked for it! a true happiness, indeed 😀
it's unfortunate there is some construction going on while we were there, esp at the Level 8 foyer area and surrounding the building as well. quite an eyesore view.
nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay there. no regrets at all!

Our stay in Beijing was truly a 5-star experience for the three of us, even with a language barrier. From check-in onward, the staff went out of their way to help—using translation apps, hand gestures, and constant warm smiles. Communication was never an issue because the hospitality felt sincere and thoughtful.
One highlight we all loved was the free laundry service. After long days of walking and sightseeing, having clean clothes without extra cost felt like a real luxury and made our trip so much easier. We were also pleasantly surprised by the free snacks, always available and perfect for late nights or quick bites before heading out.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained—ideal for resting after busy days exploring Beijing. Overall, it was a generous, caring stay that exceeded expectations. We may not have spoken the same language, but the service spoke volumes. Highly recommended.

I had a really great stay at this hotel in Beijing. Everything was extremely clean, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. The rooms were not only spotless but also very functional and comfortable — everything was thoughtfully arranged, making the stay easy and enjoyable.
I would especially like to highlight two girls working the night shifts. They helped us a lot during our stay and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were incredibly kind, professional, and truly amazing. Thanks to them, we experienced what real, high-quality service looks like. They definitely deserve special recognition!
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The room was comfortable, clean, and very well maintained, making it a perfect place to rest after a long day.
What made our experience exceptional was the outstanding service, especially from Mr. Liu Gang. He went above and beyond to make sure our family was comfortable. He thoughtfully prepared items we didn’t even request, such as a deep pillow, children’s toothpaste, and children’s slippers. It was such a pleasant surprise and showed great attention to detail.
He also consistently checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care really made a difference and made our stay even more memorable.
Highly recommended, and we will definitely come back again!

The front desk were so wonderful when I arrived nearly at midnight. The room was lovely and modern, spotlessly clean and exactly what I needed. It is so near the metro as well, I managed the 800m walk fine with a small suitcase and heavy backpack. The cleaning ladies and guard gentlemen were so lovely and I felt really safe.
I couldn't hear any outside noise but the adjoining rooms could be heard if they were being noisy (my last night, the new neighbours were a little rowdy). But I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a really excellent, central location and especially to any solo female travellers.

The location is excellent, with a subway station just a hundred meters away. It's very close to Wangfujing Street, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, and Oriental Plaza. The staff were okay, a bit cool but still helpful. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities show their age. However, the room was clean and comfortable, and the bedding was just right—not too soft, not too firm. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, though mostly Western. The taste was great. The restaurant staff were very warm and friendly. We had a minor issue on the first night, but it was quickly resolved. Overall, it offers great value for money and I'd recommend it.

The Jingshan Garden Hotel-Forbidden City (Hong Qiang Jingshan Huayuan Jiudian) offers a slightly more modern take on the traditional courtyard style found around Beijing. The pagodas of Jingshan Park across the street are visible from the hotel while the Forbidden City is just a short distance away. Located in the hutong, the hotel stays quiet despite its location in the center of the city. The hotel should not be confused with the Red Wall Garden Hotel, located in Shijia Hutong.Traditional doors and windows look out onto the hotels courtyard from guestrooms equipped all the standard amenities as well as in-room safes.Guests may enjoy Chinese foods at the on-site dining outlet. For those looking for something more social, there is also a bar and a teahouse on the premises.
Ttracy_02262026.02.28
This hotel is located right next to Jingshan Park, about a five-minute walk away, which was super convenient. The service was exceptional and very thoughtful. We booked a room on the second floor with two large, very comfortable beds. Since it's in a hutong, even with the heating on this time of year, the room felt a little cool. However, the warmth from the staff more than made up for it—they were incredibly attentive.
The breakfast only offered two fixed options each day, which was a minor drawback. The Chinese option, with its wontons, tasted really good though.
Getting a ride from here was a bit tricky. Walking to the subway station was quite a distance, so we always used ride-sharing services to get around. However, cars also found it hard to navigate the hutong, which I'd say is the only real downside.
The courtyard is beautiful, but unfortunately, we couldn't sit out and enjoy it this season.

I had a great stay at Coffizz Hotel Beijing! The staff were super helpful, friendly and kind. They always try to help and are genuinely kind. The rooms were spacious, super clean, quiet and comfortable beds. I stayed here with my husband and teen boys! The location is a blk away from the heart of Wangfujing street with endless options of food, snacks, coffee, malls and specialty stores! I had the front desk on Wechat and chatted throughout my stay which was helpful. The bonus was the lounge area in the basement with complimentary laundry facility for you to use. We never had a problem with it not being available. There's also a kids play area and gym. Thank you Coffizz for an incredible stay!!!!

Facilities: Excellent! The welcome fruit was very fresh, and the complimentary breakfast was also very good. On the first day, we were upgraded to a deluxe king room, and even though it faced the street, the soundproofing was excellent. The service was exceptional; they were always ready to help with any requests. I also appreciated that the hotel bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The location is fantastic, with famous attractions right outside, making it very convenient for getting around! The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the overall experience was superb!

GGuest UserOverall, a good hotel when it comes to location, general cleanliness, and soundproofing, but not really friendly towards foreigners.
The staff at the front desk really need to improve their service and attitude, they were quite unapproachable and unfriendly. They also didn’t provide clear instructions during check-in. Nothing on how to access amenities for example.
Also, when I tried getting the late-night snack, they were just ignoring me on their phones. It’s only when another local guest indicated they should serve me first that they finally took notice. I felt uncomfortable approaching them with questions after my first encounter with them.
The only time they suddenly cared was during check-out when they tried to pressure me into leaving a 5 star review on the spot while they watched. It would be better if they just gently remind people to leave a review if they wish to.
For breakfast, there were lots of options but they should really label things and clearly indicate dietary restrictions like meat or allergens. It seems like this is not a thing in China but if you are catering towards foreigners, not everyone can just eat anything.
Lastly, for anyone who is really sensitive to smoke, I asked for a smoke-free room but could still smell it, especially in the shower. Not sure if the smell is coming through from other rooms, but either way you will catch a whiff.

JJO.DSJinyu Hutong subway station is just next to the hotel (less than a min walk) which is really convenient given how slow traffic can be in Beijing. It’s convenient to get to most attractions.
The staff are polite and would help you keep parcels sent to the hotel (you can retrieve easily by providing your waybill number). If you order ******* or any food deliveries, they’ll send them up quickly with the robot. Really convenient. You could also communicate with them via WeChat.
In terms of amenities there’s a laundry room which you can use but most of the time it’s occupied 😅. Other stuff are pretty basic like toiletries, slippers etc. For the price and location, it’s worth it.
Opposite the hotel is APM mall and you could walk to wangfujing shopping street also. Starbucks is next door as well.
Just a small bone to pick - the bedsheets weren’t changed despite the housekeeping informing us that they’ll be changed every 3 days.
CCaseBooked this place because it was relatively cheaper than some other places that are smaller and farther. Room was huge, as we were just two friends so we have enough space for both of us. There was a laundry room on our floor you can use, and they have a robot to deliver food from your app deliveries. Location was, kinda far from the main attractions but thankfully didi is cheap. They change towels everyday but we noticed that the floors are sometimes not mopped enough for our standard but it was clearly passable. They have centralized air-conditioning so you can’t make it cooler on days that are warm unless it’s their summer season so you have to note that. Overall, they were nice to us with our queries and requests. Room’s spacious and they also have good breakfast option!

GGuest UserGot an upgrade! This trip was such a pleasant surprise. The staff here are absolutely wonderful. The location is superb, right on Qianmen Street, with a Lawson convenience store just across the road. It's on the central axis of the city, and you can walk to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National Museum in about ten minutes – everything is so close! This made my trip incredibly convenient. When you're traveling, a good location is key, and since it's off-peak season, the price was great. Definitely excellent value for money. The staff are also fantastic and truly think of their guests; they even helped me cancel a more expensive booking to get a cheaper one.

YYizhixiaoyang1128The stay was fantastic! The overall environment was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were comprehensive, making for a very relaxing stay. A special shout-out to Bonnie, who was incredibly warm and attentive. She patiently answered all our questions and was very efficient, making sure everything was perfectly arranged throughout our stay. It really made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!
CCharlesjuranbeizhanyongThis is my Nth stay at this hotel. I've been staying here since 2017 when I applied for my US visa, and for the past few years, it's been my go-to when transferring to high-speed rail after returning to China. First, the pros: the rooms are spacious, it offers great value for money, has a swimming pool, and the rooms even have bathtubs – it's hard to find these amenities in hotels at a similar price point. It's an established star-rated hotel, and it's very close to Beijing Chaoyang High-Speed Railway Station and not far from Capital Airport. You can also get a late check-out until 2 PM (they've improved this significantly; it wasn't great back in 2017). The service is also very good. Now for the cons: being an older hotel, the facilities are relatively dated. In the room I stayed in this time, the bathroom door wouldn't close, but since I was alone, it wasn't a big deal. The next day, when I took a shower, only hot water came out, and I couldn't adjust it to cold. However, I was in a rush to pack and check out, so I just quickly finished my shower without contacting staff – I'm sure they could have resolved it. A 500 deposit is required upon check-in, even if you book through platforms like Trip.com or Fliggy, credit-based waiver isn't an option. Once, I didn't have a domestic card, but they accepted Japanese Yen as a deposit, and I was able to check in smoothly. I saw staff doing a live stream in the lobby; I assume booking through Douyin might be even cheaper.
YYuyeyoumingAfter looking at three or four hotels, I decided to stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing for my trip to Beijing, mainly because of its proximity to the subway, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is quite grand, and while the service is very traditional, it gets the job done. I contacted the hotel in advance and asked the front desk to book a room on the highest floor within the same price range, with a view of the CCTV Tower. They managed to arrange all of this, which I was very pleased with. However, the hotel is a bit old-fashioned; if you order takeout, there's no robot or staff to deliver it, so you have to go down and pick it up yourself.
The room itself is quite spacious and also has a traditional feel. One quirky thing is the power outlets: one nightstand has an outlet, but the other doesn't. This made it impossible to charge my phone while lying in bed, so I had to go to the supermarket the next day to buy an extension cord. Also, the power outlets are quite old-fashioned, not the new national standard, and many of them are loose.
The bathroom has two showerheads, a main one and a side one. I assume the side one is for people sitting down, but one thing they might not have considered is where to put clean clothes for changing. If you put them inside, they'll get wet during the shower. If you put them outside, isn't it a bit awkward to walk out naked?
The breakfast buffet at the hotel is quite good, with a wide variety of dishes. The mini hash browns, in particular, taste exactly like the ones sold at McDonald's and KFC.
Finally, I want to especially thank the bespectacled housekeeper on the 24th floor. Her service was excellent, she was very polite, and the room was cleaned impeccably. She left a particularly good and warm impression.
I didn't take many photos of the hotel, so consider these for reference. Also, the Hema Supermarket is about 600-700 meters west of the hotel, which is convenient for buying things.
MMikeLimMyAlthough the room is small, it is thoughtfully designed and fully equipped. The single room is just right for a solo traveler—comfortable without feeling cramped.
The management clearly puts care into their guests’ experience, offering practical accommodations at an affordable price, giving travelers a reassuring place to stay. The location is convenient, close to Dongsi Metro Station and within walking distance of Wangfujing Pedestrian Street.
The building itself is old, but it carries a certain charm and character of its own. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to stay, this hotel is definitely worth considering. The front desk staff are also warm and helpful, always ready to assist.
