"I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it looks exactly like the product photos. We had a very comfortable May Day holiday. The hotel's location is great, not far from Kyoto Station, but without the noise of being right next to the station. The decor and facilities are very new. It offers excellent value for money. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. There's a Chinese-speaking gentleman at the front desk who provided excellent service and explained everything thoroughly. The breakfast was rich and varied, but there was a queue, so it's best to allow extra time for waiting."

"The Millennials Kyoto Capsule Hotel Great location and clean environment, with a really well-designed common area. Even though it's a capsule hotel, it offers good privacy and comfort. I had a great experience staying for several nights in a row, and I'd definitely consider coming back here on my next trip to Kyoto."

"I was extremely satisfied with my stay! The accommodation was excellent, with a distinctly Kyoto style that created a wonderful atmosphere. Since it's a newly built building, the furniture, bedding, and tableware in the room were all very clean, which made me feel very safe and comfortable. The location is also very convenient, close to Yasaka Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple, all within walking distance, making it perfect for a trip to Kyoto. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Kyoto, and I highly recommend it!"

"The hotel is conveniently located in a shopping area and within walking distance of Nishiki Market. The train station entrance is also just a short 5-min walk away, making it easy to get around. The room is clean and well-maintained. Daily housekeeping is minimal, as staff do not enter the room unless requested - they will only clear rubbish and replace towels when needed, which offers a good level of privacy. The in-room washer is a nice touch and operates quietly. There’s also an additional tap and sink located outside the toilet, which is convenient for boiling water or washing up when the bathroom is occupied. It would be helpful if the room provided luggage stands, instead of having to leave opened suitcases on the floor. In the limited space, it can be inconvenient to squat down to access your luggage and then stand up again, with a risk of hitting your head on the corner of the TV frame. The lobby offers a wide selection of complimentary drinks, including coffee, juice, soda, wine, and sake. A nice perk is being able to purchase Koe Donuts from downstairs and enjoy them in the lobby, especially when the café is full."

"Although it was short, I loved my stay here. Had great quality of sleep. Good base for Kyoto, near enough to key locations, but expect a lot of walking unless you use the bus. Nearest station is Kyoto Kawaramachi which is great for day drips just outside central Kyoto and if you are coming from Osaka or Kansai airport - see my tips below. Pros: great bathroom and toiletries, good water pressure and temperature, smart toilet, TV with streaming services, fridge, desk/stool, coat hooks (handy for winter time), semi-full length mirror, luggage rack, various lights to adjust to your preference, very clean, super comfortable firm mattress and pillows, good soundproofing for light sleepers, great air conditioning (room warms up pretty quickly in the winter), you can also open the windows which is nice, felt very safe as a solo female, can ask for more water bottles in reception, lift was never crowded, outlets next to bed, has luggage storage if you need, near the river and traditional streets for scenic strolls, close to bus stop, family mart otw from station for late night snacks. Cons: can hear police cars or cars with loud engines at night sometimes but not frequent, walking from the station with a suitcase was a bit longer than expected, my double room was a bit cramped for opening suitcase (could not open the front or bathroom doors fully to avoid hitting my suitcase) and I am one person (two suitcases would fit but you wouldn't be able to walk around the bed properly). Tips: If you are coming from Kansai airport (KIX), I recommend you take the airport limousine to Namba (bought a return ticket since it is cheaper). It drops you outside JR Namba station, you can go inside to get to the metro station, follow signs for the red Midosuji Line. Board the train to Umeda. Stay inside the station and follow signs for Osaka-Umeda or the brown Hankyu-Kyoto line. This line goes directly to Kyoto Kawaramachi station. When stations, always look for the lift signs if you have luggages. I think I took the lift closest to Exit 4, and it brings you up to a department store. You kinda have to walk through and get out. If you walk out the front entrance, there are a few steps, but if you go to the side doors, it has a slope to avoid carrying suitcases. It's a straight walk from the station. Unless you are doing day trips, Kyoto city buses are a lot better mode of transport in my opinion."

"I had a wonderful stay here. The room was spotless, surprisingly spacious, and very comfortable. It’s a great choice whether you’re traveling alone or with your partner. The self check-in system was easy to use and very convenient. Everything was smooth and stress-free from start to finish. The hotel was well-maintained, quiet, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. "A very good hotel, quite well located and quiet. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The only downside was the fluctuating internet connection during our stay. The welcome was warm with thoughtful touches for the guest. I highly recommend this hotel if you're coming to Kyoto!"

"The hotel was in a good place near a grocery store and bus station. Staff was very polite and nice but my room wasn't cleaned even once The room itself was in traditional style which is the reason I chose this hotel and didn't regret it"

"The room is big. The front desk speaks good English. The service is very good. There are free soft drinks in the evening and morning and white/red wine for 2 coins every day. Overall, it is a very chill hotel. The location is convenient. It is near Kyoto Station and convenient for going to and from Osaka. There are also buses or subways to go to attractions in the city. Overall, it is great."
