"Pros:
• The price, including breakfast for two, was 2,000 per night (booked on Trip.com).
• Excellent location, just a 5-7 minute scooter ride to the main road with cafes, massage places, and currency exchange.
• There's a grocery store to the left of the hotel, and a delicious restaurant called Shaffa Gastrobar nearby, where I'd go for my evening protein fix (chicken).
• A la carte breakfast is included from 7 to 10 AM: coffee + a main dish + complimentary fruit. We really enjoyed it; every morning we had cappuccino + omelet on bread.
• There's a well-equipped gym.
• The hotel has 3 floors. When booking, I requested a 'quiet' room, and we were given a room on the 3rd floor facing away from the street. It was genuinely quiet.
• Grab (ride-hailing) always arrived in a couple of minutes.
• There's a luggage room, so we checked out at 12 PM, left our bags, and went to say goodbye to Uluwatu.
Cons:
• The room was small, 16 square meters, a bit cramped for two people. This didn't bother us though.
• The bathroom has no hand-held shower, only a rain shower.
• The hotel's internal soundproofing isn't great, but it didn't prevent us from sleeping.
Do I recommend this hotel? 1000% yes! I'd happily return! For 2,000 a day, it's simply superb!"
