"I stayed here in April on a solo trip as a woman. There's a free beverage service (coffee, tea, etc.). The room is just the right size for one person and very comfortable. I also liked that the shower room (no bathtub) and toilet were separate. There's a multi-story parking garage right next door, making parking easy. The best part is definitely the large public bath. However, there's a slight chlorine smell that bothers me a bit... There are also restaurants and a convenience store nearby. I recommend it because it's a comfortable place to stay."

"The big plus for the apartment is the view of the volcano across the bay. It’s a short tram ride from the train station and an easy walk to the ferry across to Sakurajima. The owner doesn’t speak English, but it is very easy and quick to communicate via her daughter. The accommodation itself is well equipped - good to have a washing machine - but it is all very basic. For the price, we were happy with our stay."

Onsen is at 4 floors and it is typical Japanese Onsen. There are washing and drying facilities on the 4th floor which is budget friendly, where we wash our laundry. The hotel however is away from the town center which might be inconvenient for some travellers that wan to walk around."
