Remm Kagoshima

The room was a bit small, but the three of us each had our own comfortable bed, and the bathroom was perfectly functional. The Japanese-style breakfast was meticulously prepared; we always ordered the salmon with an extra raw egg. For the price, this hotel really offers great value. If I come back to the area, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

Yesterday, I unfortunately missed seeing Sakurajima volcano due to cloudy weather, so I decided to extend my stay for another day—and it was absolutely worth it! Today, while visiting Sengan-en, I saw the magnificent volcano in the distance from the garden. It was clearly visible, with the clouds having dispersed, a breathtaking sight. In the evening, I also experienced a foot bath; the warm spring water washed away my fatigue as I watched the volcano's silhouette against the sunset. Everything felt just right. Thanks to the hotel's thoughtful recommendations and comfortable environment, I was able to find such healing even traveling solo. Next time I'm in Kagoshima, I'll definitely choose to stay here again! Before checking out, I also got to try the Shirokuma shaved ice 🍧, which was great.

The facilities are complete, and the front desk is on the third floor. The location is great, very close to the Planetarium business district. There's a large Don Quijote right across the street from the hotel. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the station, so not too far. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Coming from Fukuoka to Kagoshima, I felt the rooms here were quite affordable! 😂

The location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the bus station and about 20 minutes from the train station. There are plenty of food options nearby. The hotel staff are excellent, very warm and attentive. The breakfast is also good, a set meal for one person, allowing you to try local flavors.
