Room: comfy bed. decent space around it to put your stuff. the bed spaces are divided by curtains but the curtain doesn't go all the way because of the light so there's also a barrier thing. Bathroom: two showers and a toilet (there is also a toilet downstairs). shower says to let the water run for a bit to warm up, but it doesn't take very long. there are privacy curtains but they don't quite reach all the way so there's bits of tape to hold them in place (I think it might be better to attach clips to the wall as the tape loses stickiness). Security: there is a pin to enter the building, then another pin to enter the women's area of the floor, then in the room there is a locker . Amenities: there is a kitchen space (bowls, fridge, microwave etc.). it's above a nice looking cafe and you get a drink ticket. Location: close to kagoshimachuo station and a lot of shops and restaurants . Other: it's on the third floor and there's no lift so keep that in mind if travelling with a lot of luggage

The guesthouse cares and messaged me before my arrival and told me that I can check in early. They also provided welcome coffee/tea at the day of your arrival. Laundry is also available. Each floor also has a lounge / free space with all amenities. Luggages can be left after checkout and you can come to get it anytime. Only 3-5 mins walk from Kagoshima Chuo station :)

Staff was so calm when explaining me the details. I feel so welcome and would want to come back again. The cafe was so relaxing. I will try their food when i am back again. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Japanese quality hostel, it was really good. I really liked the coffee services.

I arrived after usual checkin hours but called ahead and staff was kind to put the instructions on the door for me. Comfortable for my stay.

It’s only a 6-minute walk from Kagoshimachuo Station! I stayed in the Tatami Room which can be relatively small for people with big luggages. Like other hostels, the toilets, shower rooms, and common space are shared among the floor. However, I do find the shower area a little small. Many of us wouldn’t enter the shower area if somebody was using the sink because the sink was right in front of one shower cubicle HAHAHA. And yes, there’s only one sink in the common shower area. I would recommend this place if you are doing a short stay in Kagoshima because there’s lots of shops and restaurants around the area! By the way, it’s located along the same lane as the famous “tonkatsu kawakyu とんかつ川久”. Please try it because it’s the best tonkatsu I’ve ever eaten!
