Travelled with family, so i wanted everything perfect and it eventually was. Breakfast buffet was amazing too. We spent most of our time in the swimming area and gaming area playing pool. One of the best bootique/heritage resorts!"

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful - it’s a nineteenth century mansion, elegantly restored in a calm setting with lots of courtyards and flowers. The pool area is also lovely. We visited with our four children and had two adjoining rooms which were very nicely decorated and spacious. You can walk out of the hotel to a local area which is busy and interesting. We walked to the flower market (20 mins) first thing in the morning and it was amazing to see all the flowers. The hotel offers to accompany the walk for £25 per person, which we thought was a bit excessive. We arranged for a guide to show us around the key sights - we did this through the hotel for approximately £50 for five hours and it was good. There are lots of extras offered on a board in the hotel - the walk, yoga and other activities, but be aware that these are extra costs, as is the welcome drink and rooftop happy hour. The staff were decent and the restaurant produces wonderful breakfasts, as well as other meals both Indian and western if you want them. A very enjoyable experience - we recommend highly."

"The hotel itself is quite good. Unfortunately, the pool is rather dirty and seems to serve more as a birdbath. Breakfast is below average. On the other hand, the rooms are mostly clean and comfortable. *** could replace the bathroom curtain if *** insists on having a glass partition between the bathroom and the toilet. But what if *** is expected to pay for minibar items at checkout that *** didn't even use? And then they even haggle over the price? I thought this was a hotel, not a bazaar. It unfortunately seemed more like *** was trying to tip themselves."
