"We loved the hotel and the area. My wife and I stayed for four nights in mid-October.
During a break between the Canton Fair phases in Guangzhou.
The weather was cool, but we managed to swim in the sea a few times and even get a light tan. When it rained, we took the bus into town. The public transportation is excellent! There are plenty of cafes with a nautical theme. Further from the beach, there's a village with a food market. As a tip for those traveling independently, without a tour and on a budget, check out the inexpensive grocery stores near town or this market in the neighboring village. Take a stroll! You can also eat at the local cafes. Menu prices are displayed at the entrance.
The hotel managers were very welcoming, proactive, and asked if everything was to your liking. A nice bonus on our last day.
There were also easy-to-follow rules: wash your feet after the beach, avoid bringing sand into your room, keep a low noise level, and so on.
My wife and I took a bath in our room. We were very relaxed afterwards and slept soundly.
Overall, we had a wonderful rest."
