"This stay exceeded my expectations! The guesthouse is nestled at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, very close to Baisha Ancient Town and Yuhu Village. The surroundings are quiet, offering a comfortable escape from the crowds. The owner also provides free shuttle service, making travel hassle-free. The room was spacious with excellent natural light, and it was clean and odor-free. The common areas are stylishly designed, with a viewing platform, piano, and bar that are perfect for photos. The breakfast rice noodles were delicious, and the all-day drinks and afternoon tea were a thoughtful touch. They arranged our airport pick-up in advance and even provided complimentary local fruits upon arrival. Our 180° luxury room offered unbeatable views; the courtyard's water features and lush greenery against the snowy mountains made every picture wallpaper-worthy. The amenities are comprehensive, including a projector, a common lounge area, and even a pool table and karaoke room. There's an elevator, which is a lifesaver for those carrying luggage at this high altitude, making it very friendly for guests who struggle with physical exertion. They offer unlimited tea and fruit daily, and the butler patiently recommended some less-known spots for sightseeing. It's quiet and peaceful, making it the top choice for a relaxing getaway in Lijiang. Highly recommended!"

"Extremely satisfied with my stay! First off, the guesthouse's location is excellent – it's just a 5-minute walk to one of the gates of Baisha Ancient Town. Secondly, the internal facilities and environment were impeccable. The room was spacious and modern. The staff member who checked me in was incredibly accommodating; they helped with my luggage and quickly resolved any issues I had with a great attitude. "Before heading back from Lijiang, we stayed at this five-diamond hotel. As a chain brand, the quality is guaranteed. The hotel is very large and conveniently located near the high-speed train station, making travel very easy. Parking was never an issue, which is perfect for self-driving tourists like us. There are also many dining options nearby, including McDonald's. The room was spacious, well-ventilated, and had excellent soundproofing. The housekeeping staff did a thorough job cleaning. The laundry room had four washing machines and four dryers, great for doing laundry during a trip. The gym was well-equipped and located next to the laundry room, so you could work out while waiting for your clothes to dry – a brilliant feature. The staff were friendly, provided excellent service, and were very responsive. They even allowed us to flexibly adjust our check-out time. The breakfast area was not crowded. The hotel also has an outdoor pool, but it was a bit too cold to try. Both adults and children were very satisfied with their stay. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Lijiang."

"This guesthouse is just a few minutes' walk from Baisha Ancient Town, making its location superb (plenty of dining options and easy access to delivery services). It's also very quiet at night. When it rained in Lijiang, the hotel even had a billiard room, which was a great way to relax. The courtyard's flowers and plants are meticulously maintained, and there are several courtyards, a treehouse, and a viewing platform on the third floor, all very well-designed and perfect for photos. The rooms are well-lit, and you can see the snow-capped mountains just by opening the curtains; on clear days, you can even witness the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunshine' phenomenon. The hotel's food is excellent, and during our stay, coffee, juice, and tea were available on tap, all of high quality. In the evenings, there were small bonfire activities, and the staff were very responsive. The rooms are clean and equipped with washing and drying machines, and the staff even helped with laundry, which was incredibly convenient for changing clothes during our travels. I loved it; overall, it was a very comfortable stay."

"AMAZING HOTEL!!!! The hotel staff are genuinely so friendly and kind!!! They picked our luggage up from the entrance of the old town and delivered it straight to the hotel. The hotel is only a short 5 minutes walk from the old town entrance making it very convenient when travelling to the mountains etc. there’s also a really friendly an adorable dog at the hotel!!! The breakfast was sooo delicious, you could pick from noodles to congee and the side dishes are provided! We particularly loved the sweet potatoes! 🍠 They helped us move our luggage and the owner was really kind to help drop our luggage off at the entrance of the old town again to save us dragging our four luggage on the pebble roads in the old town. Look no further and book this hotel!! It has a really cute rooftop too which faces the mountain but sadly during our stay it was very cloudy. Great experience!"

"This was an absolutely perfect and satisfying stay, truly exceeding my expectations! 👍 It turns out my extensive search for a B&B paid off! Let me count the ways I loved it: 1. Traveling with elders and children, the temperature difference between morning and night this season can be significant. So, warmth was my top priority, and this B&B has floor heating! Floor heating! It was so comfortable! Rooms with just air conditioning really don't cut it! So the floor heating was absolutely fantastic! 2. I'm very particular about cleanliness and facilities, and the cleanliness here was impeccable! Every detail was perfect. 3. As for the facilities: Everything was brand new. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the shower water temperature was stable with excellent pressure! Many B&Bs fall short on shower conditions, but I was incredibly pleased with this one! The beds were very comfortable. I booked a family room, and one of the beds was a large sofa bed. It was already made up before we checked in, and it was so big and comfy that both kids were vying for it. Lying on the bed on the second floor, watching the sunrise over the snowy mountains was simply breathtaking. No need to wake up early or even go outside, and it was so warm – a truly wonderful experience! There were also plenty of hangers in the room! This is so important for moms traveling with kids! Moms, you know what I mean. 😏 4. Breakfast: It was incredibly delicious! The rice noodles were the best I had in Lijiang, and the coffee was good too. The portions were generous, and the nutritional balance was excellent. Our family of six stayed in two rooms, and everyone said they were very satisfied. Even my pickiest grandfather was happy 👍, which is truly rare. If I ever get the chance to visit again, I will definitely choose this place!"

I never thought I'd find such a hidden gem in Lijiang! Houyuan is a 'home away from home' that I'd wholeheartedly recommend. It's not just another boutique hotel; it's the owner's family's 200-year-old ancestral home! The stone walls, wooden beams, and gray tiles all retain their original texture, with a strong sense of design. Yet, the underfloor heating and smart toilets in the rooms offer ultimate comfort. The collision of history and modernity is truly stunning. Opening the window reveals the snow-capped mountains – I'd call this the 'ultimate snow mountain view'! You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain reflected in the pond right from your room, and it feels almost within reach while having tea on the rooftop. My camera can't capture even a tenth of its beauty; you truly have to experience it yourself. The owner remembers every guest's name and invited us to roast potatoes by the fireplace in the evening, chatting about Naxi culture. This 'feeling of coming home' is something a five-star hotel can never provide! You don't even need to plan your itinerary; her recommended hiking route to Yuhu Village is off the beaten path and absolutely stunning (PS: you *must* try the green chili sauce handmade by the owner!!!) There's no hustle and bustle of the ancient town, only the sound of cow and sheep bells and the tranquility of the snow mountains. Riding horses up the mountain during the day, stargazing in the courtyard at dusk – this local culture, distinct from the busy city, offers a sense of relaxation that truly defines Lijiang, a perfect escape from the crowds. Sharing a century-old home, a stretch of snow-capped mountains, and the genuine hospitality of a Naxi family – this is the happiest guesthouse I've ever stayed in!

Traveling with my little one, staying at Lijiang Shitoucuo Snow Mountain Resort was the absolute highlight of our trip – I wholeheartedly recommend it to families with kids! The hotel boasts a serene environment with direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Parking is convenient, making self-driving a breeze. The gentle cats and dogs at the hotel were a huge hit with my child; every morning, they’d wake up and immediately run off to play with the pets, having the happiest time. When we checked out, my little one was so sad to leave, constantly talking about how much they’d miss the cats and dogs. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, especially accommodating towards children. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and healing, devoid of any commercial hustle and bustle. Everything from the courtyard environment and room cleanliness to the amenities and services was impeccable. We had such a comfortable stay. This stay was exceptionally satisfying. My child and I have already promised to return to Shitoucuo for another vacation when we have the chance!

Pauline's was easily one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip to Yunnan. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The hotel manager was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. When we had an early morning trip planned to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Mountain), they even arranged a takeaway breakfast for us so we wouldn't miss out on our meal. The hotel is located in the charming Yuhu Village, which turned out to be one of our favorite places in the region. Since the village has controlled vehicle access between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., the hotel helped coordinate our license plate registration with the gatekeepers, making arrival completely hassle-free. Yuhu Village itself is a destination worth experiencing. Horses and cars share the same narrow streets, giving the village a unique and authentic atmosphere. The village is filled with locally owned cafés, bakeries, and restaurants. One local restaurant we visited served vegetables and free-range chicken grown and raised by the owners themselves, making the meals feel especially fresh and authentic. We also loved the croissants from a nearby bakery and the burgers from a café down the road. The mountain views from many of these spots were simply beautiful. The food at Pauline's was another highlight and never disappointed. We ended up having dinner there several times during our stay, enjoying both local dishes and Western options. Breakfast was hearty and satisfying, typically consisting of freshly prepared noodles or wontons accompanied by a selection of side dishes. Nighttime desserts were also provided and something to look forward to. Everything was well made and provided a great start/end to the day. Because we were staying for an extended period, the hotel also arranged complimentary pickup and drop-off services from the train station, which was greatly appreciated. Compared to the more famous old towns, Yuhu felt cooler, quieter, and far less crowded. Didi rides were easy to arrange, although food deliveries could take a little longer due to the location. That said, we never felt the need to leave the village as it had everything we needed. The rooms and facilities were modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed—every corner felt photo-worthy. We happened to visit during the rainy season, which was both a blessing and a curse. While the clouds and mist often obscured the mountain views, they also created a magical atmosphere and meant significantly fewer crowds. Overall, Pauline's offers a perfect combination of warm hospitality, stylish accommodations, excellent food, and an unforgettable village experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more authentic and peaceful alternative to the busier tourist areas around Lijiang.

🫶 Not a shill! Highly recommend for those who love peace and quiet! I originally came for the terrace and the snow-capped mountain view, but I was deeply touched by the warm atmosphere and all the thoughtful details! Before check-in, they proactively contacted me and sent all relevant information like the address, directions, and activities. They always offered to help with luggage, greeted me warmly whenever I came and went, and thoughtfully asked if I needed transportation or meals. It wasn't just commercial politeness; you could feel that they were genuinely good and sincere people! 🌄 The rooms with a second-floor terrace have an absolutely stunning view. You can see the 'golden mountains' at sunrise and sunset right from your room, with the snow-capped mountains practically at your fingertips when you're lying in bed. All the pictures were taken in the room with my phone! Absolutely amazing! I also stayed in a triangular vaulted room and loved the ceiling design! I slept incredibly well! The room photos are exactly what you get; absolutely no misleading pictures! 🍈 The day I arrived, as soon as I settled in, afternoon tea was delivered to my room. It wasn't some perfunctory pre-made stuff; there was delicious ice cream cake and fragrant rose tea! On my last day, I had to leave for the snow mountain before dawn and would miss breakfast, so the night before, the lady prepared a take-out breakfast and delivered it to my room – super thoughtful! After a day of playing, I didn't have an appetite for afternoon tea, so they brought me a full plate of fresh fruit. I was so touched! Every detail shows their sincerity! 🏘️ The hotel is not in the city center, so it's very quiet! During the day, the hotel can arrange transport to the city center, and it's also easy to get a taxi if you go out yourself. Baisha is a small town, different from the hustle and bustle of Lijiang, but it's quiet and convenient. A short walk takes you to the ancient town, and barbershops and convenience stores are all nearby. Because of this hotel, I love this small town even more!!!

The room was very clean, and the host was super friendly and helpful with luggage. There's also a Samoyed named Mitsu who is incredibly friendly; my kids absolutely adored her and couldn't bear to leave. The dog was very clean and well-behaved. Overall, the guesthouse was very quiet.

A perfect stay! The most impressive thing was the stunning view of the snow-capped mountains, completely unobstructed. If you're lucky, you can even witness the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' phenomenon – seeing the pristine white peaks slowly turn golden is both magnificent and incredibly soothing. The room was meticulously clean and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were warm and polite, responding promptly to any requests. Enjoying coffee while gazing at the snowy peaks truly elevated the holiday experience. Taohua坞 Ranch 🎯 Absolutely stole my heart! ❤️ Who understands the feeling of heading to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with high hopes, only to be met with a downpour? The entire mountain was completely hidden by thick fog, not even a peek of the snowy peaks. I was genuinely disappointed, but thankfully I booked the Melting Snow Mountain Taohua坞 B&B, which completely made up for the bad weather's letdown 🌧️ I thought the rain would just trap me in my room, but to my surprise, the B&B has its own huge ranch with so many activities, I couldn't sit still! The vast, flat meadows paired with distant mountains and mist created an incredible misty, atmospheric vibe. Photos taken here naturally have a soft-focus filter. There are tons of outdoor options: you can go boating 🚣, horseback riding, archery 🏹, or even fruit picking~ The wet meadows on a rainy day are surprisingly therapeutic. Slowly soaking in the relaxed mountain wilderness, every casual shot turns into an atmospheric travel masterpiece. When you're tired from playing outdoors, duck into the handicraft workshop. You can experience making fridge magnets, tie-dye, and traditional local ethnic crafts like Jiamas~ Quietly making unique handicrafts, with the misty mountains outside the window and peace and comfort inside, you can slowly settle your travel emotions. The slow-paced, rainy-day vibe is perfectly captured here. No need to rush between different attractions; an entire ranch belongs to you. No crowded tourists, just grasslands, forests, and gentle mountain breezes. Even if I didn't get to see the snow mountain as planned, I found a unique kind of Lijiang mountain romance here. From the room, opening the window reveals the entire ranch. The wooden cabin is warm and healing, and the air after the rain is full of the fresh scent of grass and trees. Instead of fixating on checking off popular snow mountain spots, come here to immerse yourself in slow travel. For sisters worried about not seeing scenery during the rainy season in Lijiang, this place is a must-book!

Honestly, I rarely post reviews—but this time I really felt like I had to, because this hotel was the highlight of my family trip to Yunnan. From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking. The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations. The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away. What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!

When my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
