"I had a very satisfying stay at this 5-diamond hotel! My experience in Lijiang this time was particularly comfortable. During my extended stay, I needed coffee, tea, fruits, and drinking water daily. After communicating with the front desk, they responded very quickly, and all my requests were promptly arranged. Our departure car was at 3 PM, and we requested a 2 PM late check-out, which the hotel kindly coordinated. The service was very thoughtful and human-centered. The staff were warm, attentive, and communication was smooth and efficient. The room environment was comfortable, and the overall details were well-executed. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Lijiang; everything about it gives you peace of mind. I will definitely choose this place first again on my next visit to Lijiang!"

"The moment our car entered the hotel grounds, the hustle and bustle faded away. Our butler was already waiting at the front desk, greeting us with a warm smile. They took our luggage and guided us to an electric buggy, which whisked us through lush, tree-lined paths. Along the way, we saw beautifully arranged private villas, nestled amongst flowers and trees, offering excellent privacy. With a warm welcome meal and exquisite fruit pastries, this romantic hot spring luxury, tucked away just outside the city, and the stunning view of the 'sun-kissed golden mountains,' instantly melted away all our travel fatigue."

If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel makes an excellent choice, as our guests consider this to be one of the cleanest hotels in the city. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.
"The environment is quite nice, with the beautiful Wenbihai lake nearby. The scenery around Wenfeng Temple, a short drive away, is breathtaking. The facilities are good, but there aren't enough staff, which affects the service, especially for such a large hotel. The breakfast buffet wasn't very satisfying; the layout of the serving stations was poorly designed, and the coffee was subpar – definitely not 100% Arabica beans as claimed. Luckily, Richard stepped in, followed up promptly, and handled things patiently. I'd suggest differentiating between group and individual guests. We frequently stay at various hotels, and they often offer a small à la carte menu or some delivery options, which adds to the value and overall experience. Here, there's nothing like that; everything is the same. The dining experience was basically nonexistent and quite boring."

"I swear I'm not a shill, I'm not a shill, I'm not a shill! I met up with a classmate from my master's program who works in Lijiang during this holiday. Since I didn't have a solid itinerary, my classmate booked one night for me after my flight landed. I was so shocked and touched after checking in that I extended my stay for many more days!
The hotel's design perfectly matches its name. It's primarily New Chinese style, with tea culture subtly integrated in appropriate places, such as the tea leaves laid out in the elevator and the tea cake decorations above the bed. There are also textual explanations, which serve as decor while also being another way to preserve, inherit, protect, and promote traditional culture.
I didn't get a chance to experience the hotel's dining because I was too busy sleeping and sightseeing, but judging by the restaurant and tea room environment, it must be excellent! It's worth mentioning that the seventh floor also has a dedicated scenic garden terrace and a bar, perfect for enjoying the view and relaxing at night.
The service left the deepest impression on me!! It was absolutely amazing!! Every time a staff member passed by, I'd receive a warm smile and a greeting. Room amenities like bedding, toiletries, and drinks were replenished very promptly. The laundry service was also highly efficient and high-quality; I believe each room gets six free laundry items per day, which is incredibly thoughtful! What touched me the most was that after I put out the 'please make up room' sign and returned to my room after a day out, I found that my suitcase had been wiped clean, my clothes folded, my charging cables organized, and my socks were even washed and dried for me!!! Can you believe that!!! They truly made me feel at home!
All in all, I can't find any fault with this hotel. It's so good that if any friends or family tell me they're going to Lijiang, I will definitely recommend they stay here! Dian Cha Li is simply unbeatable!"

"Our stay at the Kuiran Hotel in Baisha was the most delightful surprise of our Lijiang family trip. We were tired of the bustling crowds in the Old Town, so this hotel was perfect. It's very close to Baisha Ancient Town, within walking distance, and offers a quiet retreat when you return. The large lawn and courtyard were a hit with our child, who loved running around every day. The views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from everywhere in the hotel were stunning and made for great photos.
The family room was spacious enough, and the bedding was comfortable. Given the dry plateau climate, the room was well-equipped with humidifiers, and they even provided special toiletries for children – a thoughtful detail. The staff were friendly and resolved any issues quickly. Breakfast was plentiful and mild-flavored, perfect for kids."

"🫶 Not a shill! Highly recommend for those who love peace and quiet! I originally came for the terrace and the snow-capped mountain view, but I was deeply touched by the warm atmosphere and all the thoughtful details!
Before check-in, they proactively contacted me and sent all relevant information like the address, directions, and activities. They always offered to help with luggage, greeted me warmly whenever I came and went, and thoughtfully asked if I needed transportation or meals. It wasn't just commercial politeness; you could feel that they were genuinely good and sincere people!
🌄 The rooms with a second-floor terrace have an absolutely stunning view. You can see the 'golden mountains' at sunrise and sunset right from your room, with the snow-capped mountains practically at your fingertips when you're lying in bed. All the pictures were taken in the room with my phone! Absolutely amazing! I also stayed in a triangular vaulted room and loved the ceiling design! I slept incredibly well! The room photos are exactly what you get; absolutely no misleading pictures!
🍈 The day I arrived, as soon as I settled in, afternoon tea was delivered to my room. It wasn't some perfunctory pre-made stuff; there was delicious ice cream cake and fragrant rose tea! On my last day, I had to leave for the snow mountain before dawn and would miss breakfast, so the night before, the lady prepared a take-out breakfast and delivered it to my room – super thoughtful! After a day of playing, I didn't have an appetite for afternoon tea, so they brought me a full plate of fresh fruit. I was so touched! Every detail shows their sincerity!
🏘️ The hotel is not in the city center, so it's very quiet! During the day, the hotel can arrange transport to the city center, and it's also easy to get a taxi if you go out yourself. Baisha is a small town, different from the hustle and bustle of Lijiang, but it's quiet and convenient. A short walk takes you to the ancient town, and barbershops and convenience stores are all nearby. Because of this hotel, I love this small town even more!!!"

"This has to be my favorite hotel of all the ones I've stayed at this summer. Everything met my expectations, from its geographical location at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, to its niche high-end design aesthetic, service philosophy, room quality, and comfort. I was particularly impressed with the overall renovation quality. I've stayed in so many places that look great for photos at first glance but have terrible details upon closer inspection. This hotel, however, holds up beautifully even under close scrutiny and for photography. Another highlight is the vast sea of blooming plateau cosmos flowers. During the day, you can enjoy coffee amidst these flowers, and in the evening, you can have a drink outside the lobby with a bonfire, listen to music, and face Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, experiencing a 'heaven and hell' contrast in atmosphere – it's incredibly immersive. The afternoon tea quality was also excellent, with good presentation and a perfect balance of sweet and savory. I asked the butler and was told that the hotel has a professional Western chef who is responsible for the Western breakfast and homemade afternoon tea desserts. It was my first time experiencing making pizza in a wood-fired oven – it was both fun and delicious."

✨Highly Recommended!✨ Staying at Houyuan in Lijiang was incredibly healing. I was traveling alone and unexpectedly got my period, feeling really uncomfortable with an upset stomach. To my surprise, the room had an emergency comfort kit, and the butler even brought a warm ginger tea to my room. I was instantly moved to tears 🥹. The thoughtful details showed such gentle care. The Naxi hot pot for dinner had a rich, warming broth – so delicious! Loved it! 😋 The room was surprisingly clean! Here, you can immerse yourself in Naxi culture and be wonderfully looked after. It's truly a hidden gem in Lijiang! I'll definitely bring my family next time 🥰

jingjingtravelingNestled just off the main road at the entrance to Yuhu Village, Baolin Homestay surprisingly keeps a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle. Stepping into the courtyard, you instantly grasp the true meaning of 'tranquility in the midst of noise': outside, you hear the clip-clop of horse hooves and the chatter of tourists, while inside, only the rustling of leaves in the wind and the distant whisper of snow-capped mountains can be heard. Right outside is the village's main street, with cafes and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. Turning right leads directly to the path down the mountain and open fields, incredibly convenient for hiking or horse riding.
The courtyard layout is particularly delightful. We stayed in a private Loft-style courtyard, with a balcony on the first floor where two rattan chairs offer views of dark grey eaves and a patch of blue sky. The second floor features another small terrace with mountain views. The two levels are independent and offer excellent sound insulation. The room's decor combines raw wood and stone for a rustic feel, the bedding is soft, and the hot water is fast and consistent.
The room rate includes a simple dinner for two, and the chef's cooking is excellent – a plate of local cured pork stir-fried with mushrooms, savory and imbued with a wild, earthy flavor; the stir-fried seasonal vegetables were crisp, tender, and sweet, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot congee, rice noodles, and side dishes, setting a great mood for the day.
The front desk lady is the heart and soul of this place. Meticulous, diligent, and thoughtful, she brought us a warm, sweet dessert soup every evening that warmed us to our fingertips. Her drinks are never perfunctory, whether it's freshly ground coffee or ginger-date milk tea, all made with genuine care. The three little cats are the lively treasures of the courtyard, bringing the whole place to life.
Our three days at Baolin were not luxurious, but everything was perfectly arranged; not ostentatious, yet unforgettable. This stone-walled courtyard in Yuhu Village – it will gently embrace you with a warm meal, a comforting drink, and a quiet night.

A hidden gem of a guesthouse right next to Baisha Ancient Town! The overall design is upscale and aesthetically pleasing, and the courtyard lawn is perfect for photos. The direct view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is absolutely stunning, and the cleanliness is impeccable. It's quiet and peaceful at night. The room details are excellent, with tea provided, and the mini-fridge is stocked with drinks. The service from everyone at the property is superb.
This was the most pleasant surprise of our entire Lijiang trip! We even happened to be there during the Torch Festival, which was very lively, and the locals were incredibly welcoming. The guesthouse is right next to Baisha Ancient Town, and parking is convenient for those driving. The distant views of the snow-capped mountains are incredibly therapeutic. The public areas are super photogenic. The room looks exactly like the online pictures. The owner is incredibly kind, warm, and generous; they even offered us fresh local fruit upon arrival. The room was also very clean and tidy, and they even offer two pillow choices – the memory foam pillow was so comfortable. This was the best night's sleep we had from Dali to Lijiang. Highly, highly recommend!

It's located right by the entrance to Longnv Lake, about a 15-minute walk to the commercial street – not too far, not too close, so it's nice and quiet. If you're lucky, you can even see the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' right from your bed.
The exterior features typical local stone architecture, while the interior design is very stylish. There's also a lovely grassy area out back that's great for photos. The room layout is practical, and the mattress and pillows are super comfortable.
If you're not rushing to see all the sights, the hotel offers plenty of activities to keep you busy for days, like hiking and fruit picking, horseback riding around the lake, and Naxi home visits. It's especially great for families with kids. The airport shuttle service is also very convenient.
I have to commend the service; the staff are all incredibly warm and friendly. When we needed anything, the 'little brothers and sisters' (staff members) responded quickly and were very thoughtful in helping us solve problems. The performer, an 'older brother' (staff member), was also very dedicated – great at singing and dancing. He didn't miss a single toast song before dinner, and the bonfire party had a fantastic atmosphere.
The hotel food is outstanding, with unlimited fruit and drinks. The afternoon tea, in particular, was very rich and varied. The restaurant's zhajiang mian (noodles with fried sauce) and yak hotpot were delicious, and for breakfast, we even had milk bird's nest and peach gum sweet soup – very thoughtful!
I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Lijiang. I hope the hotel maintains its quality. Looking forward to the second phase, see you next time!

Guest UserAbsolutely stunning!!! This is hands down my favorite hotel in Lijiang. The hotel has its own super spacious ranch, so big you could easily spend a whole day just enjoying the property. The west side offers beautiful natural scenery, and waking up to the gorgeous ranch view instantly lifts your spirits. The east side has a charming courtyard style with quaint bridges and flowing water – very relaxing. It's also very quiet at night, perfect for a good sleep. The entire room smells lovely, and they offer afternoon tea and a 'goodnight soup' every day, which is a really nice touch. It was such a comfortable experience, I will definitely be back! Plus, there's an observation deck on the second floor with amazing views.

We booked three rooms, and some of them offered direct views of the snow-capped mountains right from the bed when you open the curtains. The rooftop terrace provides an even more spectacular, unobstructed view of the mountains. It's truly in an excellent location.

DZ211Seriously, you haven't truly experienced Lijiang if you haven't visited Taohuawu. I feel incredibly lucky to have chosen Taohuawu among countless B&Bs. It was absolutely worth the hour-long drive from the city! This was easily the most unforgettable part of my entire Yunnan trip. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Every single staff member was delightful and incredibly thoughtful, and the service was impeccable throughout. Even the hotel amenities showed a great attention to detail! Our original room didn't have the best view, but the butler thoughtfully moved us to a different one. I was so touched, I practically wanted to live there forever! I tried several activities, and even though I wasn't great at them personally, it was still a wonderful experience. Plus, the chef's cooking is incredibly delicious – it tasted like traditional wood-fired meals! In the evening, it drizzled a bit, and the blue hour was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, we missed the bonfire party, which was replaced by a fireside drink session. I even got to try Huang Bo's handmade butter tea, which had a lot of salt at first, haha, but tasted much better after adding sugar. I also had the black tea he brewed. The breakfast was excellent too. I had mentioned not eating pork at dinner, and they remembered at breakfast, even reminding us that some soup bases contained pork. They truly remember their customers' preferences. Since we were rushing to go to the snow mountain in the morning, they even packed breakfast for us, and the fruit at the front desk was incredibly delicious! So thoughtful! Before leaving, I bought a can of Taohuawu tea as a souvenir. I truly love this place. The only minor thing is that because the environment is so natural and beautiful, there are a lot of little critters, but everything else was perfect. I hope their business flourishes, and all the other details are in the pictures. I hope to visit again someday!

From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking.
The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations.
The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away.
What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip.
The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey.
The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home.
The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!

When my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
