"Nestled in the town at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, this hotel boasts a really fancy decor. Overall, it's pretty good. We booked three rooms, and some of them offered direct views of the snow-capped mountains right from the bed when you open the curtains. The rooftop terrace provides an even more spectacular, unobstructed view of the mountains. It's truly in an excellent location."

"The room is very comfortable and the hotel's decor is stylish. You can really feel the owner's dedication and the team's professionalism! The room and public areas are basically identical to the photos, even better in person! And I have to praise the breakfast rice noodles – they're the best I've had in Yunnan! Also, the free hand-whipped latte in the morning is definitely more authentic in flavor than any 48+ priced coffee in the ancient town, hahaha!"

"This guesthouse was a divine find for our family trip! The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They arranged our airport pick-up in advance and even provided complimentary local fruits upon arrival. Our 180° luxury room offered unbeatable views; the courtyard's water features and lush greenery against the snowy mountains made every picture wallpaper-worthy. The amenities are comprehensive, including a projector, a common lounge area, and even a pool table and karaoke room. There's an elevator, which is a lifesaver for those carrying luggage at this high altitude, making it very friendly for guests who struggle with physical exertion. They offer unlimited tea and fruit daily, and the butler patiently recommended some less-known spots for sightseeing. It's quiet and peaceful, making it the top choice for a relaxing getaway in Lijiang. Highly recommended!"

"I highly recommend the Lijiang Kuiran • Mountain & Cloud Seaview Hotel. My stay here was by far the biggest surprise of my Lijiang trip! The courtyard room was quiet and elegant, with an expansive view from the private courtyard. I could gaze at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain without leaving the room, and on clear days, I even got to see the 'golden mountain' phenomenon at sunrise – truly a healing sight. The room itself was clean, tidy, and tastefully decorated, making for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I absolutely must praise the hotel's thoughtful and attentive butler service! During my trip, I experienced delayed altitude sickness, feeling dizzy and unwell. After contacting the butler, their response was incredibly swift. They immediately brought an oxygen tank and carefully reminded me of precautions for high-altitude areas. I felt such a sense of security and warmth in a foreign land – it was truly heartwarming. Even the daily details were impeccable. The complimentary drinks provided each day were delicious and thoughtfully selected. It was incredibly pleasant to sit in the courtyard, sip tea, and admire the snow-capped mountains. Breakfast was a delightful surprise – beautifully presented, delicious, and varied, offering everything from Naxi rice noodles to Western-style simple meals. The ingredients were fresh, and the ambiance of enjoying breakfast while overlooking the snow mountain was simply perfect. The entire hotel had a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, not noisy at all. The staff were gentle, polite, and provided service with just the right touch. The views, food, and heartwarming service were all excellent. If I return to Lijiang, I will definitely choose Kuiran again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking to quietly admire the snow-capped mountains!"

"Choosing this guesthouse in Lijiang Baisha was definitely the right decision! The location is superb, nestled in a small alley within the ancient town, just a 3-minute walk from the entrance. It's incredibly convenient for dining out and catching a taxi, plus the housekeeper even helps with your luggage. The guesthouse's courtyard is beautifully arranged and perfect for relaxing, and upstairs, there's a Hobbit-themed sky garden where you can enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains and take great photos. "Even the pickiest Virgo couldn't find a single flaw here. Every detail shows thoughtful touches, so go ahead and book with confidence! You won't regret it! 📍Location: Fantastic! Less than 200 meters from Baisha Ancient Town's main street; super convenient for shopping and dining! It's about a 30-minute taxi ride to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and getting a taxi from the hotel is very easy. 📣Cleanliness: The cleanest place I've ever stayed, without a doubt! (See pictures) Towels are individually wrapped, cups are covered, and it's spotlessly cleaned daily! Everything is arranged perfectly, satisfying even the most obsessive tidiness. The faucets and showerheads shine so brightly you can see your reflection! They even thoughtfully provided hooks for hanging clothes in the shower! 🪝 🎊Environment: Absolutely lovely! The aesthetic is spot on. Even if you don't go anywhere, you could happily spend a whole day just chilling in the lobby. The fireplace keeps things cozy and adds a warm, homely feel. There's a beautiful little courtyard and a small terrace with a direct view of the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise'! You can watch it and then go back for another nap! With underfloor heating, it's incredibly comfortable for a winter stay. 👍Details: 200 points! They offer pick-up and drop-off at the parking lot. Even the key card is unique! I was sad not to meet the owner this time (I heard it's a man), but the two young women running the place were incredibly organized and efficient – like four strong men rolled into one! So capable! With Chinese New Year approaching, the boss should definitely reward them! They proactively offered a special soothing tea when they heard a family member coughing and readily shared travel tips. All in all, it was incredibly heartwarming! They even helped with laundry… 🫶Breakfast: You can choose between Chinese and Western style; just let the young ladies know the day before. Options include rice noodles, Ersi noodles, or toast, and tea or coffee. 🎉I stayed in the lobby until 11 PM on my last night, truly not wanting to leave. I'll definitely be back! I highly recommend they open more branches! Wishing the owner great success and please, take good care of our 'home'!"

I never thought I'd find such a hidden gem in Lijiang! Houyuan is a 'home away from home' that I'd wholeheartedly recommend. It's not just another boutique hotel; it's the owner's family's 200-year-old ancestral home! The stone walls, wooden beams, and gray tiles all retain their original texture, with a strong sense of design. Yet, the underfloor heating and smart toilets in the rooms offer ultimate comfort. The collision of history and modernity is truly stunning. Opening the window reveals the snow-capped mountains – I'd call this the 'ultimate snow mountain view'! You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain reflected in the pond right from your room, and it feels almost within reach while having tea on the rooftop. My camera can't capture even a tenth of its beauty; you truly have to experience it yourself. The owner remembers every guest's name and invited us to roast potatoes by the fireplace in the evening, chatting about Naxi culture. This 'feeling of coming home' is something a five-star hotel can never provide! You don't even need to plan your itinerary; her recommended hiking route to Yuhu Village is off the beaten path and absolutely stunning (PS: you *must* try the green chili sauce handmade by the owner!!!) There's no hustle and bustle of the ancient town, only the sound of cow and sheep bells and the tranquility of the snow mountains. Riding horses up the mountain during the day, stargazing in the courtyard at dusk – this local culture, distinct from the busy city, offers a sense of relaxation that truly defines Lijiang, a perfect escape from the crowds. Sharing a century-old home, a stretch of snow-capped mountains, and the genuine hospitality of a Naxi family – this is the happiest guesthouse I've ever stayed in!

This hotel was recommended by a friend, and after actually staying there, I was truly blown away. I rarely, if ever, review hotels, but I wholeheartedly recommend this one. **Service:** As soon as I booked, a concierge added me on WeChat, providing hotel information and activity arrangements. They even arranged a business car for airport pickup. The service, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly attentive. One night, I felt unwell in the middle of the night and thought everyone would be off duty, but after I mentioned it in the group chat, they immediately brought me an oxygen tank. **Environment:** The hotel is located at the foot of a snowy mountain, right at the entrance of Yuhu Village, offering first-class scenery. The hotel provides shuttle services to the village whenever needed. **Food:** The cured pork ribs and free-range chicken hotpot included in the hotel package was absolutely delicious – far better than the restaurants at InterContinental or Aman. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was exquisite, and I really enjoyed that style of breakfast. There's an all-day self-service bar with drinks and fruits, and the fruits are all high quality, including my favorite passion fruit. There's also a very tasty afternoon tea, which can be enjoyed on the lawn if the weather is good. **Activities:** During our stay, we participated in horseback riding and hiking to pick pinecones and mushrooms (the hotel doesn't allow guests to eat what they pick for safety reasons). The hiking scenery was beautiful, and even my seven-year-old child completed the entire trek. In short, it was truly a perfect experience.

Pauline's was easily one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip to Yunnan. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The hotel manager was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. When we had an early morning trip planned to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Mountain), they even arranged a takeaway breakfast for us so we wouldn't miss out on our meal. The hotel is located in the charming Yuhu Village, which turned out to be one of our favorite places in the region. Since the village has controlled vehicle access between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., the hotel helped coordinate our license plate registration with the gatekeepers, making arrival completely hassle-free. Yuhu Village itself is a destination worth experiencing. Horses and cars share the same narrow streets, giving the village a unique and authentic atmosphere. The village is filled with locally owned cafés, bakeries, and restaurants. One local restaurant we visited served vegetables and free-range chicken grown and raised by the owners themselves, making the meals feel especially fresh and authentic. We also loved the croissants from a nearby bakery and the burgers from a café down the road. The mountain views from many of these spots were simply beautiful. The food at Pauline's was another highlight and never disappointed. We ended up having dinner there several times during our stay, enjoying both local dishes and Western options. Breakfast was hearty and satisfying, typically consisting of freshly prepared noodles or wontons accompanied by a selection of side dishes. Nighttime desserts were also provided and something to look forward to. Everything was well made and provided a great start/end to the day. Because we were staying for an extended period, the hotel also arranged complimentary pickup and drop-off services from the train station, which was greatly appreciated. Compared to the more famous old towns, Yuhu felt cooler, quieter, and far less crowded. Didi rides were easy to arrange, although food deliveries could take a little longer due to the location. That said, we never felt the need to leave the village as it had everything we needed. The rooms and facilities were modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed—every corner felt photo-worthy. We happened to visit during the rainy season, which was both a blessing and a curse. While the clouds and mist often obscured the mountain views, they also created a magical atmosphere and meant significantly fewer crowds. Overall, Pauline's offers a perfect combination of warm hospitality, stylish accommodations, excellent food, and an unforgettable village experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more authentic and peaceful alternative to the busier tourist areas around Lijiang.

🫶 Not a shill! Highly recommend for those who love peace and quiet! I originally came for the terrace and the snow-capped mountain view, but I was deeply touched by the warm atmosphere and all the thoughtful details! Before check-in, they proactively contacted me and sent all relevant information like the address, directions, and activities. They always offered to help with luggage, greeted me warmly whenever I came and went, and thoughtfully asked if I needed transportation or meals. It wasn't just commercial politeness; you could feel that they were genuinely good and sincere people! 🌄 The rooms with a second-floor terrace have an absolutely stunning view. You can see the 'golden mountains' at sunrise and sunset right from your room, with the snow-capped mountains practically at your fingertips when you're lying in bed. All the pictures were taken in the room with my phone! Absolutely amazing! I also stayed in a triangular vaulted room and loved the ceiling design! I slept incredibly well! The room photos are exactly what you get; absolutely no misleading pictures! 🍈 The day I arrived, as soon as I settled in, afternoon tea was delivered to my room. It wasn't some perfunctory pre-made stuff; there was delicious ice cream cake and fragrant rose tea! On my last day, I had to leave for the snow mountain before dawn and would miss breakfast, so the night before, the lady prepared a take-out breakfast and delivered it to my room – super thoughtful! After a day of playing, I didn't have an appetite for afternoon tea, so they brought me a full plate of fresh fruit. I was so touched! Every detail shows their sincerity! 🏘️ The hotel is not in the city center, so it's very quiet! During the day, the hotel can arrange transport to the city center, and it's also easy to get a taxi if you go out yourself. Baisha is a small town, different from the hustle and bustle of Lijiang, but it's quiet and convenient. A short walk takes you to the ancient town, and barbershops and convenience stores are all nearby. Because of this hotel, I love this small town even more!!!

We had an amazing stay at this Mountain Spring in Yunnan! The place was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and we especially loved being surrounded by the animals around the property. They added so much charm and joy to our stay. The peaceful atmosphere truly made this place feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Snow Mountain) right from our room. Waking up to that view every morning was unforgettable. What made the experience even more special was how much our kids enjoyed their time there. They were able to feed the animals, interact and play with them freely, and even pick fresh vegetables and fruits from the farm. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that allowed them to connect with nature and learn where food comes from. The owner was incredibly friendly and passionate about what he does. He personally took us around his plantations, shared his knowledge about farming, and patiently explained how different fruits and vegetables are grown. We learned so much during our stay and truly appreciated his generosity in sharing his experience with us. The farm stay also has a lovely café where guests can relax and enjoy afternoon tea while taking in the beautiful surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the farm and the stunning mountain views. Another huge bonus is that there is a ranch right next to the property with even more animals. Our kids absolutely loved it! They had plenty of space to run around, interact with the animals, and feed them. It added another layer of fun and adventure to the trip, making it an unforgettable experience for the whole family. They’ve in house professional photographer provided by the farm stay. It was fantastic because we get to dress up in their traditional costume which was also inclusive!! We were pleasantly surprised that complimentary photos were included for guests staying there. Photos were awesome because the Yulong snow mountain is right outside our resort. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yunnan, especially families with children. If you’re looking for a cozy, authentic, educational, and memorable experience, this is definitely the place to stay. We left with wonderful memories, beautiful photos, and a much deeper appreciation for farm life and nature. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to come back again!

Taohua坞 Ranch 🎯 Absolutely stole my heart! ❤️ Who understands the feeling of heading to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with high hopes, only to be met with a downpour? The entire mountain was completely hidden by thick fog, not even a peek of the snowy peaks. I was genuinely disappointed, but thankfully I booked the Melting Snow Mountain Taohua坞 B&B, which completely made up for the bad weather's letdown 🌧️ I thought the rain would just trap me in my room, but to my surprise, the B&B has its own huge ranch with so many activities, I couldn't sit still! The vast, flat meadows paired with distant mountains and mist created an incredible misty, atmospheric vibe. Photos taken here naturally have a soft-focus filter. There are tons of outdoor options: you can go boating 🚣, horseback riding, archery 🏹, or even fruit picking~ The wet meadows on a rainy day are surprisingly therapeutic. Slowly soaking in the relaxed mountain wilderness, every casual shot turns into an atmospheric travel masterpiece. When you're tired from playing outdoors, duck into the handicraft workshop. You can experience making fridge magnets, tie-dye, and traditional local ethnic crafts like Jiamas~ Quietly making unique handicrafts, with the misty mountains outside the window and peace and comfort inside, you can slowly settle your travel emotions. The slow-paced, rainy-day vibe is perfectly captured here. No need to rush between different attractions; an entire ranch belongs to you. No crowded tourists, just grasslands, forests, and gentle mountain breezes. Even if I didn't get to see the snow mountain as planned, I found a unique kind of Lijiang mountain romance here. From the room, opening the window reveals the entire ranch. The wooden cabin is warm and healing, and the air after the rain is full of the fresh scent of grass and trees. Instead of fixating on checking off popular snow mountain spots, come here to immerse yourself in slow travel. For sisters worried about not seeing scenery during the rainy season in Lijiang, this place is a must-book!

Honestly, I rarely post reviews—but this time I really felt like I had to, because this hotel was the highlight of my family trip to Yunnan. From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking. The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations. The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away. What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!

When my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does. All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel. The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
