I had high expectations for Amanjing, but from the moment of pickup, the overall experience was rather disappointing. The pickup staff was late, and we were left standing outside in the rain for over ten minutes. Being late isn't a big deal, but why keep saying 'we'll be there soon' while making us wait in the rain? We had elderly people with us, which made it very inconvenient. We then had to drag our luggage for a while to reach the Wyndham Hotel for the car. I remember saying then that if I had known this was the arrangement, I would have preferred to take a taxi myself. To my surprise, the pickup staff member snapped at me, saying I wouldn't be able to get a taxi. I didn't want to argue further and just told him to stop. Upon arriving at the guesthouse entrance, opening the car door revealed a mess of mud. The road conditions were so bad that our shoes and luggage were completely soiled. Once inside the room, I immediately noticed how dirty the floor was, making me question if it had been properly mopped. Please don't tell me I should have reported it immediately for the guesthouse auntie to clean again. The level of dirtiness was beyond basic hygiene standards – couldn't the owner see it themselves? Besides, many guests don't want to be constantly bothered by staff after checking in; they just want to relax quietly in their room. From afar, the room looked decent, but up close, there were noticeable signs of wear and tear. For a guesthouse that only opened this year, this condition was quite unexpected. The walk to Baisha Old Town was similarly unpleasant, requiring us to walk along the roadside. During peak hours, traffic jams were common, with motorcycles weaving through, making it very dangerous. After walking it once, we were reluctant to do it again and preferred to take a taxi. Taxi drivers also mentioned that this place is hard to find, muddy, and very dark at night, making the overall travel experience quite poor. Although the owner was very helpful and willing to recommend a car rental driver, the rental car was old and not very clean, and the driver's attitude was rather cold. It was a stark contrast to the car rental service we had in Shangri-La, and it was even more expensive. Of course, a slightly higher price isn't an issue. However, on our first morning, the weather was great, offering an unobstructed view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. I specifically told the driver that I wanted to go to Dongba Valley first, then Blue Moon Valley. The driver suggested we go to Dongba Valley on the way back, saying it would be better. I deeply regret taking his advice. When we went to Dongba Valley on the way back, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was already largely obscured by clouds, making the visit almost pointless. To be honest, if the weather is good, the guesthouse itself offers a beautiful view. We were lucky enough to see the 'golden mountain bathed in sunlight' this season, which was a redeeming factor. However, while there's a photo-op spot on the rooftop, it doesn't seem well-maintained; there was some trash on the ground, which somewhat detracted from the otherwise stunning scenery. If staying on the first floor, guests also need to be aware of privacy and public area usage. During our stay, other guests sat directly on the chairs on our terrace, ungraciously eating fruit and drinking beverages, and didn't bother to clean up afterward, leaving their mess on the table. Guests considering the first floor might want to keep this in mind. Overall, the view was indeed beautiful, but the accommodation experience didn't meet our expectations. I believe there are many guesthouses in the Baisha area that also offer views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, so whether it's worth staying here is something everyone should consider for themselves. These are all our genuine experiences during our stay. We hope the guesthouse can address these issues and improve its operations in the future to provide a better experience for future guests.

Stepping in, I was immediately impressed! The entire courtyard is beautifully decorated, showing just how much effort the owner put in. Taking photos in the courtyard during the day was fantastic; it's truly a hidden gem! The owners are a group of young, interesting people who were incredibly thoughtful, helping us with our luggage all the way to our room. There are also restaurants nearby, and getting to the ancient town is super convenient. There's even a rooftop garden for photos! We also tried tea pressing, which was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this guesthouse! [Strong]

The room was new and very clean, and we had a great view of the snow-capped mountains and the courtyard right from our window. The owner was also very welcoming. The only minor downside was the lack of breakfast, which I hadn't encountered before when booking B&Bs. I didn't read the details carefully enough, so we had to order food delivery. We didn't like the Yunnan Nan restaurant that was recommended; none of my family enjoyed it. When we asked the owner about parking for Yun Ti An Cafe, they said there was none, so we parked at the inn and took a taxi. We later found out there was parking available. I hope the owner gets to know the surrounding area better. Overall, it's a B&B I would choose again. PS: The bathwater wasn't hot enough and got cold quickly, so I don't recommend using it.

WHAT A WONDERFUL STAY! 💜 Right from the start, the boss (小明) greeted us warmly at the door and offered us locally grown peach and traditional Pu Er while waiting for our check-in. Been our first time in Lijiang, we were kinda lost with the many sights on offer. 小明 set us down and patiently suggested (without obligations) a detailed itinerary for the following 2 days. The packages are extremely reasonably priced with inclusive of drivers and meals for both days. For the first day - we get to pluck wild mushrooms, a hotpot lunch with the harvest, photo ops around 拉市海 and ending off at 理江古城 for some evening shopping. The next day, the driver picked us up at 5.30am for a sunrise view of 玉龙雪山. We managed to catch the 日照金山!!! Apparently, it's fairly rare to catch it with a clear view (2 to 3 times a month) and we have to thank lady luck for that. This genuinely marks the peak experience of our entire trip. Following that, we also explored Spruce Meadow and 蓝月谷 before making our way back in the afternoon to enjoy the hotel room. The stay is incredibly memorable. The room is very clean and comes with automated toilet bowl and projector with many movies. The outdoor area sits directly facing 玉龙雪山. Imagine waking up to the magnificent view everyday! The room is so comfortable that we regretted not booking for an additional day just to chill and relax. Not forgetting to mention the kind hospitality by 小明 and his stuff. They're always there to make sure we're well taken care of and offer valuable advice to make sure our stay is of the highest quality. We kept constant contact via Wechat and he frequently check on us. He even helped to arrange for our transport to Shangri-La. We make a great friend and we felt a strong sense of reluctance when checking out on the last day. But as 小明 says, "天下没有不散的宴席". We will definitely be back one day, my friend. To everyone out there think no further, Amanjing • Rizhao Jinshan • Snow Peak doesn't just provide a 5 star stay, they also offer a personable and warmth experience that's rarely found anywhere. You will not regret it. 🏔️

The room facilities were comprehensive and new. The owner was very thoughtful, adding us on WeChat to send location recommendations for good places to eat, and even offered peaches. The balcony of our room faced the snow-capped mountains, offering a beautiful view.

The hotel is newly built, just outside Baisha Ancient Town, a very short walk away. The owner is very welcoming, and the courtyard is spacious and pleasant. There's also a photo spot on the rooftop, and you can even see the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' (a local scenic view) right from your room.

The hotel is located on the main road just outside Baisha Ancient Town, within walking distance. It offers a tranquil setting despite being close to the bustling town. There's free parking available in front, making it convenient for getting around. The courtyard directly faces Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. However, on rainy or cloudy days, the mountain is often obscured by mist, so views are weather-dependent. The courtyard itself is a serene space, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle and relaxing. The rooms are fully equipped with smart home features, including Tmall Genie for voice-controlling appliances, making stays very convenient. Overall, the accommodation offers a comfortable and relaxing experience.
