"This hotel is incredibly comfortable, and it's right on the beach! We were so lucky to get a free upgrade to a huge sea-view suite – I couldn't be happier. It was even more comfortable than a 1000 RMB+ hotel I stayed at in Sanya. The butler service was amazing too; they brought us some fruit, which we finished because it was so delicious. They even proactively offered us a late checkout until 2 PM and provided a shuttle service to the train station, along with two Hainan specialties. Every little detail was a pleasant surprise. The travel photoshoot also turned out great, and they delivered the photos super fast. I've stayed at so many hotels, but this one is definitely number one in my book. All in all, everything was excellent, and I've already recommended it to my friends."

"First and foremost, I have to praise the butler, Ms. Mile! Her work is professional, and her service is incredibly warm and thoughtful, which made me feel so welcome. The view from the sixth floor, which she arranged for me, was truly excellent! Five-star rating for the butler's service! Additionally, the hotel's scenery is top-notch, but I hope the hotel cleans the curtains."

"This trip, I booked a two-night stay at Shimei Bay. The overall vibe is resort-like, with a Bali-inspired decor. It opened in 2018, so it's been around for a few years now. The lobby was a bit odd, though, as it seemed to have a lot of shops right when you walk in. The room with the plunge pool was great for photos, and the public pool was decent too. The beach, being a public one, meant the hotel could only manage it, not privatize it. This led to it being a bit messy with inflatables and such, which wasn't ideal for photos. The hotel offers various free activities, which is a nice touch. Service was pretty good; our butler, Daisy, was super responsive and tried her best to accommodate all our reasonable requests. Thumbs up to her! 👍"

"To sum it up: the hotel's strong point is its relatively new facilities and spacious rooms, but other than that, there’s nothing particularly special about it. I heard it’s considered one of the better options in Wanning, which makes me wonder how it will attract guests once it gets older in a few years. It's really just a place to sleep, then you have to take a taxi to go out and explore. 😂😂😂 **Facilities**: The pools are good; the two outdoor ones weren't crowded, which was enough. The indoor one was said to be under maintenance and closed. My wife said the gym was great and practically empty. The only drawback is the lack of a private beach, which diminishes the seaside resort vibe a bit. The room amenities felt a bit stingy; no welcome fruit, which, while not a necessity, created a significant psychological gap compared to other resorts. The mini-bar is free, but it's strange that it's not restocked if you stay for multiple days! Is my room rate for subsequent days different from the first? Oh, and family rooms come with a washing machine, which is excellent, but the one in our room leaked, leaving a puddle all over the floor after use… **Hygiene**: The cleanliness was okay. For a beachside resort, sand and mosquitoes are usually tough to control, but the rooms and public areas generally met expectations. The bathroom was also fine. **Environment**: The plant landscaping is relatively monotonous. Also, waiting for the buggy by the roadside invariably resulted in multiple mosquito bites – those small, black mosquitoes are super venomous, and my child suffered badly too. I suggest adding mosquito control devices at the buggy stops. Another complaint: the path to breakfast involves large steps, and I couldn't find an accessible ramp or vertical lift. For a family-friendly hotel, I saw every parent, including myself, struggling to carry strollers up and down those big stairs every morning. Is this daily strength training on an empty stomach? **Service**: The staff's quality is quite good; they always greet you proactively. However, one day was a bit awkward: we went for breakfast without requesting housekeeping, and when we returned and closed the room door, we had no idea the cleaning lady was in the bathroom. She came out looking embarrassed, and we were quite surprised. I hope they pay attention to this and don't enter guests' rooms without permission."

"The room is very spacious with smart controls and a Dyson hairdryer. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the pastries are both appealing and delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly, especially coach number 9 at the wave pool, who was patient and professional. Five-star rating!"

"The cleanliness overall is good, but you can see signs of wear and tear. The cushion was a little bit stained, and the cupboard door has some aging/affected by moisture. It is still acceptable for now. The overall amenities are great, pool, outdoor hot springs and food available. If you don’t have a car, it is not easy to get out to eat but there are 2-3 restaurants in the resort itself. The beds are comfortable. My only complain is that the aircon was quite weak and could have been better. It was not warm but not cold in the room, and we had ensured the balcony door was closed."

"The handsome guys running this B&B do an excellent job; every detail is well-thought-out. They even have a dedicated concierge group chat that answers all your questions and provides various guides and tips. The most thoughtful touch is the B&B's scheduled shuttle service to Riyue Bay. Dining and convenience stores are plentiful around the B&B. You don't have to worry about breakfast either, with a Northeast-style breakfast place right across the street and local specialty breakfast spots just a short walk away. It's also very close to Boundary Island, which is super convenient."

"Stayed in Wanning for a few days this time, and I genuinely love the pace of life here. Every evening, I couldn't resist watching the sunset from the balcony – from golden to pinkish-purple, it was beautifully serene. The hotel environment is very comfortable, with lush green gardens that made my morning and evening strolls so relaxing. I especially want to commend Coco; she's incredibly enthusiastic, responds quickly to messages, and never hesitates to help with any request. It really put my mind at ease during my stay. "This hotel boasts an amazing location right on the cliff opposite the lighthouse. It features an incredible balcony with unbeatable views of both the lighthouse and the sea – absolutely stunning! It offers great value for money. There's really nothing to fault, aside from being a bit far from the bustling city center. I highly recommend it for those who love a quiet getaway and beautiful scenery. Although the facilities aren't brand new, they are very well-maintained, and the air conditioning works exceptionally well. Even when it's scorching hot outside, you can enjoy the sea view indoors in cool comfort, which is fantastic."
