Overall, my stay was fantastic. The cleanliness was top-notch, the room was spacious, and it was very quiet. The free breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The hotel's pets were incredibly well-behaved, especially the dogs, who were very friendly. The location was convenient, not too far from the beach at two kilometers, and renting a car right at the entrance was easy. Short trips by taxi or car were quick. The service was attentive, and the overall value for money was excellent.

The room was a bit old and dim, but thankfully no musty smell, as they had turned on the dehumidifier before we checked in. It's also very close to the beach, just a short walk across the lawn. Our butler, Mile, was very responsive. He brought us a welcome gift of fruit and pastries. He also gave us important tips and directions to the restaurant in advance. When we ordered takeout, he even delivered it to our room, which was really great 👍 However, the afternoon tea included in our package was really bad. The pineapple juice was too sweet and not refreshing at all. The grapefruit juice was okay, a good balance of sweet and sour. But the mini desserts were genuinely awful. There was one item (I'm not sure of its exact name) that seemed to be a crab stick, cucumber, and mango roll, and it tasted incredibly fishy. The fruit was also very mediocre. Another significant issue was the lobby seating area. Many people were smoking there, and the smell was overwhelmingly strong. It really detracted from the overall experience.

Stepping into the guesthouse, I was struck by the wall covered with motorcycle pictures, which suggests the owner is a sports and motorcycle enthusiast. The guesthouse was clean overall, with a quiet environment amidst the hustle and bustle. There were even casually placed beanbag chairs, a fully equipped barbecue grill, a pool table, and a Smith game table. I wish the owner great success in his business!

The hotel is less than 5 minutes' ride from the train station. There are shopping malls around it, which makes travel very convenient. The hotel service attitude is very good. The prices are quite reasonable, and the service at InterContinental is very professional. They try their best to accommodate guests' requests and are constantly striving to improve. Located just one kilometer from Shenzhou High-Speed ​​Railway Station, and right next to Wangfujing Duty-Free City, the accommodation was much cleaner and more comfortable than in Riyue Bay. A cleaning lady came to clean the rooms, and the beds in the dormitories were wider and more comfortable than in typical hostels. Each dormitory room had its own bathroom, and electric scooters were available for rent. I had a very comfortable week there.

Perhaps they were referring to the parking lot road. The only downside is that there aren't many attractions nearby. However, if you're coming for the winter with a few families, it's quite good. Although there's no public transportation, it's easy to hail a ride right outside. The island's sightseeing buggy can also pick up and drop off guests to the bridgehead.
