We had a wonderful two day stay. There weren’t many guests around on the dates we stayed, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The hotel offered a shuttle golf buggy to the beach and nearby places which was a bonus. It rained heavily while we at the beach so staff picked us up in a car. I have already recommended the hotel to a friend! Staff: Friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast: Fresh and healthy, served in the outside coffee/bar summer house. Afternoon Tea: Tasty fruit, fresh juice, local biscuits. Hotel surroundings: The garden is planted thoughtfully and kept tidy. It was nice to have the open covered seating area to rest and read a book. The furniture is good quality and comfy. Swimming pool is a nice size and clean apart from some surface bugs. (it’s not easy to keep all flies/insects out off the pool in a hot place) Dog friendly hotel, the owner’s puppy was super cute! Room: Super view over the mountains. Large balcony. Furniture, towels, toiletries and bedding all high quality. Decor tasteful and modern. Everything felt reasonably new and in good repair. Surrounding area: Quiet village, plenty of places to eat or get coffee. Only cons: Coffee is not included as standard with the breakfast. When it rains the cushions on the balcony’s outside furniture oget wet so you can’t sit on them for some time. I personally didn’t like that you could see into the ground floor rooms from the outside seating and sunbathing areas.

De Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer). The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs. They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant. If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant. Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

I recently stayed here as a Belgian Chinese traveler, and even though my Chinese isn’t very strong, I was welcomed with so much warmth. This hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away from the typical tourist trails in a quiet part of the village. It’s the perfect location: right by the fields and some very trendy coffee shops, yet only a 5-minute scooter ride from the main bay and the best surf spots. The owners, Shuiku (水库) and Xiaoxiao (笑笑), really made my trip. Shuiku immediately helped me sort out a scooter and personally showed me where to find the best waves, while Xiaoxiao’s English is quite good, which made everything so much easier. They also pointed me toward some local restaurants that were all absolutely delicious. The vibe of the place is just great. It’s incredibly clean because the cleaning lady and Shuiku himself clean the place several times a day. I loved the design of the indoor chill-out area, though sitting outside to enjoy the tropical weather was just as good. There’s a washing machine which is super handy, and you can rent surfboards for a very fair, cheap price. Because the owners' friends drop by almost daily, there’s always a lively, authentic atmosphere. I met a great mix of foreign tourists and Chinese solo travelers trekking around the island by bike or motorcycle. Many Chinese couples and families where staying too, it is very kid-friendly too. I even ended up meeting a French girl there, and we spent a whole week surfing together. The Grand Hyatt was the highlight of our trip! 🏨 The ambiance is old-money elegant, and the decor is timeless and sophisticated – perfect for photos. Our room was spotless and odor-free, making for a supremely comfortable stay. Every staff member was warm, polite, and attentive, never just going through the motions. A special shout-out to Hamburger at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and even granted me a late checkout until 2 PM. This hotel is far superior to the Park Hyatt Sanya Sunny Bay Resort. Choosing the 'Gift Sea View Castle Resort' for this vacation was an experience that far exceeded my expectations, a truly restorative seaside getaway. The resort itself is a dreamy, pristine white European castle, standing gracefully by the sea, exuding a fairytale ambiance. The grounds are lush with greenery, and photo-worthy spots like the infinity pool, spiral staircase, and sea-view terraces are everywhere. You can snap stunning island-style photos without even needing a filter. In the evening, when the lights come on and blend with the sunset over the sea, the scenery is especially romantic. We stayed in a first-line sea view room. It was spacious and spotless, with impeccable hygiene down to the smallest detail. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows paired with a private balcony offered an unobstructed 270-degree sea view. Waking up to the sound of the waves in the morning, you could watch the sunrise over the sea right from your bed. In the evening, sitting quietly on the balcony watching the 'orange sea' sunset, all worries simply melted away. The butler service was attentive and meticulous. Before we even arrived, they proactively sent us directions and a travel guide. Check-in was efficient and quick, and any request we had was met with a prompt response. The service was gentle and professional. The resort's location is excellent; it's just a few minutes' walk directly to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for tide-pooling and enjoying the waves. The facilities within the resort are comprehensive, and the dining options offer fresh and authentic local cuisine. It's perfectly suited for both couples and families traveling with children. Here, you can escape the city's hustle and bustle, fully enjoying the sea breeze and peaceful moments. The environment, facilities, and service are all top-notch, offering incredible value for money. I've already recommended it to friends and family, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next seaside trip.

The owner puts a lot of effort into the guesthouse; the decor is unique and photogenic, with a strong vacation vibe. Cleanliness is impeccable, and they even provide complimentary bath bags and toilet seat covers. The housekeepers, Youyou, Xiaochen, the curly-haired guy, the guy with the lip piercing, and the other ladies are all incredibly welcoming. They always pick us up and drop us off when we go out, and they gave us tons of travel tips. Their recommendations for Liu Jie's hot pot and sour rice noodles were delicious. Parking is convenient and there are charging stations available. Highly recommended!

They even went extra mile to pick us at the ShenZhou Station which is approximately 3-4mins away from the hotel. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and well-equipped with high-quality amenities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a separate shower and bathtub, with plenty of hot water and stable water pressure. The location was also ideal, with convenient transportation links and close proximity to several tourist attractions and shopping areas, making it easy to explore or shop. I give this hotel 100% praise. I always thought that the hygiene of B&Bs is difficult to guarantee, but the hygiene here is very good. The balcony is very large, with a panoramic view of the sea. Because I brought children with me, I booked a 3-bedroom. The room is very spacious and the children had a lot of fun. I strongly recommend going to the beach bar opposite at night to sit.
