Hotels with balcony in Wanning

This place is really great. First of all, the rooms are very nice, clean, and spacious, with an outdoor swimming pool (directly connected to the pool from the first floor). We came during the off-season, so we had a private pool for two. The service is also excellent. Compared to five-star hotels, where staff are generally just politely smiling, here the staff all have genuinely friendly smiles. In Riyue Bay, staff will take you wherever you want to go in a small car, stopping wherever you want (during the off-season). The breakfast here is very refined, unlike the buffet style of large hotels. There's complimentary afternoon tea (the passion fruit tea is amazing!), and a cup of evening tea. Honestly, the overall experience was better than at a typical guesthouse, but the friendliness of everyone was a big plus. (Special praise to Xiaomei and Agui! Xiaomei is a very gentle young lady, and Agui is a very knowledgeable young man about the local area; you can ask him in advance where you want to go.)

De Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer). The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs. They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant. If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant. Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Wanning. This is the 8th hotel I've stayed at in Hainan. Before my trip, I was worried that Wanning wouldn't be as lively or fun as Sanya, but after staying here, I didn't want to leave! It offers a fantastic resort experience. The grounds are beautiful, with stunning views at every turn, far from being cliché. If you're tired of Sanya's hotels, this place offers a refreshing change. I paid to upgrade to a connecting full ocean-view suite, and it was absolutely worth it! The room was incredibly comfortable, and both the elderly and children had a great time. I suggest visiting the nearby lighthouse twice: once during the day and once in the evening, as the ambiance is completely different. At night, the beach is covered with a sky full of stars. Additionally, the hotel service is excellent. There are many shuttle buses, and they are incredibly fast; before I even got downstairs, the car was already waiting at the entrance. The front desk staff and my butler, Chery, were also wonderful and made me feel right at home. Check-in at the front desk was very quick, probably because I arrived quite early at 1 PM.

Let me start by saying, I'm very, very satisfied with our stay. When my child was younger, we usually opted for traditional five-star resorts, but now that they're older, a hotel with a sports theme like this is truly fantastic. Every surfing instructor was incredibly nice; I guess people who enjoy extreme sports tend to be straightforward. Every staff member at the hotel was excellent, from the young man who helped with our luggage when we arrived to the same person who assisted us when we were leaving. I wanted to ask his name, but he shyly said he wasn't from concierge. Haha, he was very enthusiastic nonetheless. The room was clean and refreshing, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel truly felt like a home away from home, and both my child and I were extremely pleased with it. If I had one minor regret, it would be the breakfast. While there was plenty of variety, the taste was just a tiny bit disappointing. Haha, just a tiny bit though! I suppose it just leaves a little room for improvement. We'll definitely be back!

I recently stayed here as a Belgian Chinese traveler, and even though my Chinese isn’t very strong, I was welcomed with so much warmth. This hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away from the typical tourist trails in a quiet part of the village. It’s the perfect location: right by the fields and some very trendy coffee shops, yet only a 5-minute scooter ride from the main bay and the best surf spots. The owners, Shuiku (水库) and Xiaoxiao (笑笑), really made my trip. Shuiku immediately helped me sort out a scooter and personally showed me where to find the best waves, while Xiaoxiao’s English is quite good, which made everything so much easier. They also pointed me toward some local restaurants that were all absolutely delicious. The vibe of the place is just great. It’s incredibly clean because the cleaning lady and Shuiku himself clean the place several times a day. I loved the design of the indoor chill-out area, though sitting outside to enjoy the tropical weather was just as good. There’s a washing machine which is super handy, and you can rent surfboards for a very fair, cheap price. Because the owners' friends drop by almost daily, there’s always a lively, authentic atmosphere. I met a great mix of foreign tourists and Chinese solo travelers trekking around the island by bike or motorcycle. Many Chinese couples and families where staying too, it is very kid-friendly too. I even ended up meeting a French girl there, and we spent a whole week surfing together. 🌿 Hidden Tropical Getaway — I’m Definitely Coming Back! 🌿 I stayed here for 4 nights and honestly, I’m already thinking about my next trip back. The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city. While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light. The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well. What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient. One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge. The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to slow down and soak in some nature. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Wanning or Riyue Bay. I’ll absolutely be back! 🌺✨

The owner puts a lot of effort into the guesthouse; the decor is unique and photogenic, with a strong vacation vibe. Cleanliness is impeccable, and they even provide complimentary bath bags and toilet seat covers. The housekeepers, Youyou, Xiaochen, the curly-haired guy, the guy with the lip piercing, and the other ladies are all incredibly welcoming. They always pick us up and drop us off when we go out, and they gave us tons of travel tips. Their recommendations for Liu Jie's hot pot and sour rice noodles were delicious. Parking is convenient and there are charging stations available. Highly recommended!

I give this hotel 100% praise. I always thought that the hygiene of B&Bs is difficult to guarantee, but the hygiene here is very good. The balcony is very large, with a panoramic view of the sea. Because I brought children with me, I booked a 3-bedroom. The room is very spacious and the children had a lot of fun. I strongly recommend going to the beach bar opposite at night to sit. There are fireworks 🎆 and it is also very convenient to ride a bike

The front desk upgraded our room for free, and we could watch the sunrise over the sea right from our room – highly recommend! The pool wasn't too crowded, so it was perfect for kids. The hotel is also very close to the peninsula, which has lots of great food options. You can even go clamming on the beach right below the hotel. Recommended!
