MM38965****This place is really great. First of all, the rooms are very nice, clean, and spacious, with an outdoor swimming pool (directly connected to the pool from the first floor). We came during the off-season, so we had a private pool for two. The service is also excellent. Compared to five-star hotels, where staff are generally just politely smiling, here the staff all have genuinely friendly smiles. In Riyue Bay, staff will take you wherever you want to go in a small car, stopping wherever you want (during the off-season). The breakfast here is very refined, unlike the buffet style of large hotels. There's complimentary afternoon tea (the passion fruit tea is amazing!), and a cup of evening tea. Honestly, the overall experience was better than at a typical guesthouse, but the friendliness of everyone was a big plus. (Special praise to Xiaomei and Agui! Xiaomei is a very gentle young lady, and Agui is a very knowledgeable young man about the local area; you can ask him in advance where you want to go.)

GGuest UserI originally booked for one night, but once I checked in, I didn't want to leave! Mr. Tang's courtyard really understands what a vacation should be like: a shuttle bus takes you to the beach to watch the sunset, and when you come back, the room is so comfortable you won't want to move. My photos of the courtyard on social media got so many people asking for the address! The service from Lele at the front desk was incredibly warm and heartfelt. This place really made my Wanning trip enjoyable!

WWaikin.mDe Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer).
The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs.
They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant.
If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant.
Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

I stayed here for 4 nights and honestly, Iâm already thinking about my next trip back. The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing â perfect for a little escape from the city.
While my room didnât face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was â birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light.
The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well.
What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help â whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient.
One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden â it was honestly the perfect recharge.
The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded â just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to slow down and soak in some nature.

The all-white castle architecture is stunning, and being right on the sea, every photo I took looked like it belonged in a magazine. My room was clean and comfortable with excellent natural light, and the sea view was incredible. I could feel the sea breeze and sunshine just by opening the window. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the public areas were beautifully decorated, creating a perfect vacation atmosphere. The service was warm and attentive, making my stay feel incredibly safe and comfortable. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, and it offers great value for money. GGuest UserThis is the most beautiful hotel I've stayed at in Hainan so far. The lobby's design is absolutely stunning; pictures really don't do it justice, you have to experience it for yourself. The room was clean and comfortable, and the butler service was excellent. Personally, I think Shimei Bay's beach is much better than Shenzhou Peninsula's. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation experience.

MM352667****I found my dream accommodation at Footprints Luxury Guesthouse in Wanning! The 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows transform the endless rice paddies into a flowing oil painting within the roomâspeechless with beauty. I especially loved the infinity pool connected to the rice fields; every photo opportunity was perfect. The rooms were minimalist and comfortable, with a five-star mattress and bathtub for complete relaxation. The butler's attention to detail was also incredibly thoughtful. If you want to escape the crowds and find healing and relaxation amidst the fields, this is absolutely the perfect choice!

SStarliterFacilities: Basic B&Bs are recommended to install screen windows and doors, otherwise it is impossible to open the doors and windows for ventilation at night. The room is not big to begin with, and it is uncomfortable to be stuffy inside.
Hygiene: The boss lady washes and dries the linens herself, which is quite good.
Environment: Very close to the coast, the homestay with its own yard is very comfortable during the day. It is recommended to install a bathroom curtain in the room
Service: You can't have too many requirements for homestay services, and they have basic accommodation needs. The two bosses are very busy, the boss is very enthusiastic, and they provide tools for catching seafood

The balcony is very large, with a panoramic view of the sea. Because I brought children with me, I booked a 3-bedroom. The room is very spacious and the children had a lot of fun. I strongly recommend going to the beach bar opposite at night to sit. There are fireworks đ and it is also very convenient to ride a bike

KKelkooLocation: ONLY book if you are coming with your own car. Accommodation is not easily accessible by foot especially if you are arriving at night. All food places at least 5-10 min DRIVE. However, it is an interesting location as it is not close to the sea, so you get to experience another side of Hainanâs environment. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent.
Service: Was just okay - not the most helpful unless you ask questions. For example, the SUPs have to be booked ahead so their trainer is scheduled to come - which was not mentioned. So if you are only staying for one day, make sure you tell them ahead.
Cleanliness: Since it is a humid environment, mould will likely appear. The tent we were in had a lot of mould on many of the inner walls. There was an attempt at simply covering it but these tents should be cleaned and treated.
Amenities: the tents definitely are definitely more fancy than normal tents - ours had a shower and AC. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of activities and food availability. I think if you are an accommodation that is difficult to access - at least food/drinks options should be provided.
