Hotels with Infinity Pools in Ipoh

"This is a very new hotel apartment. It's fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction cooker, microwave, refrigerator, and hairdryer. The only thing missing is a washing machine, but all other essential in-room facilities are there. The room is quite spacious; we booked a two-bedroom apartment. At around 140 Malaysian Ringgit per night during the May Day holiday, it offered great value for money. It was more than enough space for our family of three, with one king-sized bed and two single beds. The living room had a sofa, and surprisingly, the TV even had Mango TV and Tencent TV! 😂 The infinity pool on the hotel's top floor isn't huge but is very tastefully designed. There's also a co-working space specifically for digital nomads, and the gym is excellent. The garden on the second floor is beautiful both day and night. The hotel itself isn't far from the city center. It's about 6-8 MYR by Grab from the train station, and roughly the same to the Mural Street. To Perak Cave and Mirror Lake, it's about 8-10 MYR, making it very convenient to get around. The only issue is that since the apartment is quite new, Grab's current pick-up/drop-off point is located at the main entrance on the main road. If you have a lot of luggage, you might need to ask the driver to go around to the reception area at the back of the apartment."

"Everything about this hotel was great. The atmosphere was noble and elegant, and the restaurant food was delicious. The sky pool was a major highlight! We booked a deluxe room with a jacuzzi, which our child absolutely loved. The only minor drawback was that the executive lounge only offered a small selection of snacks and coffee, with no sodas or juices. This wasn't very kid-friendly for families. The executive lounge could definitely be improved. We would still love to come back and stay again if we get the chance."

"I really like this hotel, the common areas are really pretty,every angle are instagrammable. The room was so clean and comfortable. 2 rooms for a price like this is beyond worth it. They have small kitchen with electric stove and microwave. Will definitely come again"

"Nice, clean and comfy homestay for 4 to 5 family members. Amenities are as described and mostly are new, and working flawlessly.The amenities are new and of above average quality, providing ease for travellers like us especially the hair dryer, washing machine, and filtered water dispenser. I also like the interior design of the homestay that is highly Instagrammable. Easy to check-in and the security is friendly. Two parking spots are provided. The stay is walking distance from hawker center & lots of eateries nearby. In short the stay is highly, convenient, relaxing, comfortable. Highly recommended."

"Upon arrival the 2 contact details provided don't respond and it's really annoying and disappointing. 1 contact go into voicemail box and another will never pick up the call which somehow give you the impression of the host is not reliable(Attached conversation without reply) The property manager or agent that host these property really need to be more professional. The unit is full of new paintings and the smell cause lots of discomfort(Attached the toilet door with new paint) The bidet or sprinkler is broken and the water is scattered around and cause our clothes and toilet paper all wet!!!(Attached photo broken bidet) They don't install ventilation fan on the toilet and when you open the window for air circulation your neighbors could see you.Their intentions is very clear which is they don't bother the comfort of the guest(Attached photo of when open up the toilet window for ventilation the upper floor could see through hence no privacy while shower.You shower with window close and its felt suffocating after a while!!!) As Ipoh is famous for eateries to our surprise when we packed our supper home the utensils is really disappointing.The host barely provides you any plates and utensils.Maybe just 4 cups 4 plates as if anything extra will cause them a million dollars investment.You can't find extra waste plastic bags or toilet paper.They simply being too calculative and don't provide any extra even you are using it to keep their unit clean at least if you provide me with extra waste plastic bags we could pack our waste and keep it clean and hygiene instead. Each room only 2 towels for shower and no pools towel provided.Very inconsiderate!!! The worst part is they will sent you a check out instructions 6am in the morning to wake you up!!! If you having a peak booking on our check out date you may sent a reminder for checkout but please not at 6am in the morning !!! I think Trip.Com should check on your agent quality and set a minimum standards.The property host is really disappointed we don't have time to waste so we just put up with it and write a review after check out."

"The rooms was awesome. Can see The Lost World of Tambun from the balcony. The cooking utensils is provided but no cooking allowed. The Hot Spring pool is great and kids enjoy it. Location is central to go to most places within 15 to 20 mins drive. McDonald’s and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are nearby. Overall we really enjoy it...."

"A mountain-view room that purifies the soul. The air was fresh and humid after the rain. Swimming at the foot of the mountain was a great escape from the heat. Playful long-tailed macaques roam around. The security guards were also very friendly and helpful. Great value for money and a wonderful host – I accidentally left some personal belongings behind, and both the host and security guards promptly helped me communicate and retrieve them. Looking forward to enjoying life at The Cove again next time! ❤️⛰️"

"This is a new condo unit and everything is self service, but the price reflects that. That said, the facilities available are more than many hotels. It's like living in your own house. Location wise its a bit off and you would have to grab or drive to restaurants etc. There's also a mosque directly opposite the condo so light sleepers beware. Best to take a pool facing unit."

"Typical ‘Airbnb’-like experience , everything is digital, just follow instructions you’ll be fine. Online WhatsApp to contact the management team, they are pretty responsive. 2 issues Our unit in 08-07A, the common toilet started to stink after a shower, think the plumbing needs to be rechecked. Strangely the stink went away the next day after the toilet dried out by itself. The car park for this development is REALLY NARROW and u have to park designated lots. We drove 4 levels up and sharp turn saw many cars scratch their side on the pillars. Not the fault of the accommodation but be wary if u r driving a car and a new driver, go SLOW! Good stay overal"
