"Stayed at Hotel 1969 and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were polite and kind throughout our stay, especially the concierge, who also acted as our airport transfer driver. Although I did not get his name, he was very responsible and ensured we arrived at the airport on time.
We also enjoyed a nice breakfast before heading off, which was perfect and satisfying. The hotel location is very convenient, with many coffeeshops nearby.
Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely return again."

"This was my second stay here, and I still love the spacious room. Everything was perfect overall. 🤩
This time, we were a little unlucky because the room suddenly had a blackout in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. The next morning, after we called the service counter, the staff came to check and found that an electrical wire had burned out.
They kindly offered to let us change rooms several times, but since we were checking out soon, it was fine for us to stay. The staff also apologized sincerely during check-out.
Despite this small issue, I would definitely stay here again because the location is excellent, very close to tourist attractions and the highway.👍"

GGuest UserBooked this apartment for its location and also because it was almost brand new.
Positives:
+ Location - close to town and very convenient
+ It's almost brand new and low occupancy so very quiet and amenities in building are brand new although things like spa pool and atapchi pool are closed.
+ Good customer service from IWH. Customer service officer Dee was very helpful and friendly.
+ Cukcoo water dispenser in unit which is great was getting both hot and cold drinking water.
+ Branded appliances.
Negatives:
- Apartment's furnishing wasn't great. Dining stool has this metal ***** around it that is sharp and actually cut my daughter's leg.
- Mattress was ultra hard while pillow is too soft.
- While towels and shower gel and shampoo is provided, there is no handwashing soap provided.
- Towels provided are fairly low quality and one even had cigarette smell which we asked to be replaced.
- While we appreciate the separate shower cubicle and toilet, there is no curtains to separate the bathroom area and the living area making changing clothes coming out of shower abit of a hassle.
- Water pressure is not great.
Overall, while the price is good, this we feel is one of those case where the apartment looks much better in photos than actual due to the budget friendly furnishing used.

GGuest UserA mountain-view room that purifies the soul. The air was fresh and humid after the rain. Swimming at the foot of the mountain was a great escape from the heat. Playful long-tailed macaques roam around. The security guards were also very friendly and helpful. Great value for money and a wonderful host – I accidentally left some personal belongings behind, and both the host and security guards promptly helped me communicate and retrieve them. Looking forward to enjoying life at The Cove again next time! ❤️⛰️

GGuest UserStay here for its location in the heritage area of Ipoh Old Town. Concubine Lane is the street parallel to Market St. A long time tea merchant, Leong Swee Sang is just a few doors away.
The interior of the hotel is Instagramable. The room is small, basic but clean. There is no wardrobe, and a hot & cold water dispenser is provided in the common area. The ensuite bathroom is big enough and there's hot shower.
The hotel is not for the elderly as there are no rooms at the ground floor and no lift. Live music from a nearby pub is audible till early hours in the morning on weekends.

For those bringing children to swim in the pool, please ensure they wear proper swimming attire — even jersey shirts are not allowed. In my opinion, it’s suitable for two families. However, if there are more, the entry and exit rules can be a bit inconvenient for those who are not used to them. Overall, it’s good.

GGuest UserI ordered a unit with 3 room with the topic of muji,the second me and my family open the door,a strong scent of furniture rush into my lungs,i instantly contact the owner team,wanted to have a appropriate solutions,but they dinnt reply much,keep on asking us to wait for them to check stuff,meanwhile,i contacted agent of trip.com,telling her about the situations,the agent reach out to the owner team too,but dinnt even get a reply from them,as the unit i booked was a no-refund unit,trip.com couldnt do anything about it,just as i thought im going to die from lung cancer,luckily,the owner team finally replied with solution about changing another unit for us,which we found was acceptable compared to the previous one,the facilities of the unit was pretty good overall,its just that the unit of topic Muji was unbelievable,aircon was nice,everything was nice when the toxic odour was gone

EEstherA great stay for my family. The unit is clean and spacious enough for us. 1 parking slot is provided and it is near the lobby. Check in was easy too. Owner was quick to response to my questions and requests. The kettle was malfunctioned and they give us another the next day despite it’s a weekend. My boy had so much fun at the playground and swimming pool. Will come again if there’s a chance.

GGuest UserThe stay was good except that the location is next to the highway and we could not sleep well due to the loud traffic noise. Suggest to install noise cancellation windows for all the room. Else the stay will not be pleasant and will affect your business.
