AC Hotel by Marriott Ipoh

The location is great. Ipoh Parade is just opposite of the hotel. Many famous local food around. The room is clean and quite spacious. The breakfast doesn't have many varieties, but it’s still okay if you just want a quick bite before you head out for the day. The reception staffs are very friendly.

Excellent location. Travelled with elderly so being within walking distance to our favourite restaurant 海外天 and big shopping mall Ipoh Parade was a big plus. If you play pickleball, 3 beautiful air-conditioned courts on 11th floor. Bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. Slept well throughout our stay. Will stay again on our next trip.

Great swimming pool Multiple pools, slides, splash zones, and mini waterpark features keep children busy for hours, and several reviews call the pool area the main highlight for families. Kids Club facilities stand out with toys, PS4, a mini cinema, playrooms, board games, and outdoor play areas, giving children plenty to do beyond the pool. "Good facilities nice view and child friendly." Clean private access adds to the stay, with several reviews highlighting city walks, nearby rooms, and easy access from the resort. "Love the private beach and the pool." Great view， balconies facing the water. "Amazing location and breathtaking view!" "Good facilities nice view and child friendly."

Checking in was swift. Room was of a good size. Bed and pillows were all good. Aircon was erratic and noisy. One minute it was warm and the next, freezing. We could not adjust the temperature setting. Like it was already pre set. There was only 1 box of toothbrush in the bathroom, even though it was a room for 2. The most annoying part was the shower area whereby when you are showering, you are standing in a pool of soapy water. Even till the next morning, there's still water in the shower area. It wasn't fully drained. Someone should probably check on room 548. Breakfast was just ok. Was somewhat surprised that people would use their bare hands to pick up the bread they were going to slice instead of using tongs or the cloth provided. I do not know whether her hands were clean or dirty, and as such, avoided the bread section.

A street away from Ipoh Parade, swimming pool without nearby bathing facilities unlike some hotels in Malaysia so if the whole family went for the swim we need to take turns for showering. Hotel breakfast is fairly limited compared to some hotels in Johor Bahru and only good if not to travel out for breakfast. Will rate it 4 over 5 for location and accessibility.

Nice hotel with clean room & decent breakfast, will definitely be back again during our next ipoh trip

Good location and a comfortable stay overall. The facilities are superb and well maintained. The breakfast was good, although the variety could be improved with more options.

I stayed this hotel with my families, Food, game room, service all good. Just the parking very small & limited. Overall will choose this hotel again
