"Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities. Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly. Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory. I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort. ***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think. I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one. All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂"

"This hotel is an absolute gem, perfect for families with kids – truly fantastic! 👍 Housekeeper Betty provided impeccable service, there's nothing to fault. It's very close to the beach, and the surrounding amenities are quite comprehensive. The only slight hassle was having to pick up food deliveries myself, as they couldn't be brought up to the room. All in all, it was a very enjoyable trip."

"I booked a twin room for my trip with a friend. Just a small suggestion: it would be great if the slippers could be color-coded for easier distinction, especially for those who are particular about hygiene. Also, on the first day, the showerhead couldn't be adjusted and only pointed towards the door, so after showering, the bathroom floor was completely wet. However, the cleaning staff must have noticed this on the second day because they fixed it for us without us even asking – very thoughtful! The overall service at the hotel is exceptional, every single aspect of it. The shuttle runs frequently, and the housekeeping is also very attentive. The staff at the entrance are all very diligent. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a private beach; you have to cross a road to get to one. If that doesn't bother you, the value for money is excellent. I hope the hotel can add some more atmospheric public area decor. On the bright side, the hotel's location is very convenient, with a night market, popular restaurants, and several great beach bars/restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel's facilities are quite good. The front desk staff who handled check-in were exceptionally helpful. However, the breakfast was overpriced for what it was – comparable to a budget hotel breakfast, though it did fill you up. Room service was very poor; it took at least half an hour for anything to be delivered. The pool management was also quite bad; the staff were surly, as if I owed them money, and overly strict about everything. I tried to request an early check-in, and a male front desk employee, who was on the phone at the time, told me all rooms were booked solid the night before and hadn't been cleaned. In reality, less than 1/10 of the hotel rooms seemed occupied. Thankfully, a kind female front desk staff member eventually sorted out the issue. My advice is this: if you don't have high expectations for service and overall quality of experience, the hotel's hardware is fine, but the service is truly abysmal."

If you're looking to unwind and relax in Wanning, Yueqi Bay is definitely the right choice! I've already recommended it to all my friends, and I'll absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Wanning. The guesthouse's location is fantastic; it's a short walk to the beach, and just a few minutes' bike ride to Riyue Bay for surfing and checking out trendy shops. It's wonderfully quiet yet still close to the action."

The most thoughtful thing was the Bay Area shuttle service. From the front desk to check-in, we didn't have to worry about finding our way. The front desk and housekeeper were very welcoming, and their luggage was very attentive. When I asked about nearby attractions, they responded immediately and were very friendly. The surrounding amenities and dining options are plentiful, and the housekeeper will take us to the nearby commercial district, offering a wide variety of dining options. This time, traveling with my elderly family, I really chose the right B&B, which saved me a lot of trouble. I've already recommended this place to friends and will definitely choose it again next time!"
