"My kids had been looking forward to our trip to Sayram Lake for a long time, and it finally happened this summer! The hotel is like a home away from home during a trip, and I'm so glad we chose the Intercity Hotel Sayram Lake. Staying two nights made the whole trip more relaxed and enjoyable. We chased the sunrise, captured photos of the stunning blue lake, and enjoyed precious family time by the shores of Sayram Lake.
Location:
The Intercity Hotel has an excellent location, very close to all the park entrances. Buying the 48-hour self-driving pass was definitely worth it. If you plan to catch the sunrise, this hotel is an unbeatable choice. By around 5 AM, staff were already checking tickets at the Old East Gate tourist spot.
Facilities:
Very new! The executive twin room isn't huge, but the layout is well-designed, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet (wet and dry separation). All the facilities are great, especially the showerhead – it's rare to find one so comfortable while traveling.
Food:
Breakfast, afternoon tea, and supper. We didn't have time for afternoon tea. But we did experience both breakfast and supper, and they were truly excellent. The coffee was decent, and I highly recommend drinking plenty of milk (it's super rich and creamy!). The handmade yogurt with banana chips was incredibly delicious!
If I get a chance to come back in winter to see the ice formations, I'll definitely choose to stay here again."
