Guest UserI had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay with my family. The room was exceptionally clean, and I absolutely loved the bed and pillows they were incredibly fluffy and comfortable, which made resting a pleasure. The room was spacious. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would happily return in the future.

VC TravelsMixed feelings.
The hotel is well located, with Washington Union Station nearby.
The rooms are average; they’re clean, but a bit outdated and musty.
The reception staff looked tired and unbothered. The hotel seems to operate only under daily timings; I was not able to get cleaning later on the day. The safe was not working and I had to wait until the next day for someone to come check it, same case for broken light in the bathroom.
The fitness is well equipped.
The hotel was not able to accommodate my request to cancel the last night, even though I was moving to another Hilton. Not necessarily the kind of service you’d expect from them.
Amenities were available upon request, there’s a mini fridge in the room. There was no kettle available.
Overall, for the price, you can get better in Washington DC.

Stevie’sIt is amazing services and experiences with their staffs. Very friendly, very helpful, very kindness especially one of their hotel bar restaurant and her name is “Patz”. She wonderfully kindness and helpful when I struggled with my handbag letting Inside the train when we can off at foggy bottom station. She letting me to use her phone to contact the lost and found metro office and even talk through with me. Very convenient location between at M street and 22nd St NW.
15 min to White House, then few minute to all the Mall surrounded. Then train from foggy bottom to Union station or capitol for capitol, library congress, Supreme Court and all the popular museums/art gallery along the site.
The hotel is the best hotel experiences we have had for our entire first trip IN USA. Just a very weird experience that both my sons got bitten by buds or fleas for the stay but it doesn’t happened to me even we in the same room and bed? All well, hopefully they no other customer had this issues. But I still feel lucky and big thank you to the teams, management and all the other onsite staff. Loved it and will definitely back to you for our next trip to DC….xx

Riana LuckAfter a very long 29-hour journey, the last thing a guest wants is to feel unwelcome upon arrival.
Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk was disappointing. The female receptionist with curly hair appeared indifferent while checking me in. Even when speaking to me, she avoided eye contact and seemed focused on other tasks. In hospitality, the reception team creates the first impression of a hotel, and I found this behavior unprofessional and unfriendly.
When I checked out, the female receptionist with straight hair was also not particularly welcoming. The only receptionist who showed some warmth and friendliness was the gentleman at the front desk.
During my first night, I experienced itching and discomfort. I’m not sure whether it was related to the bedding or towels, but I requested fresh sheets and towels to be replaced.
My room was also missing a refrigerator and a safety deposit box, which I would normally expect for a more comfortable stay.
That said, I would like to recognize Alma, who kindly provided coffee for my room, and Maira from housekeeping, who worked incredibly hard and was always helpful. They were the highlights of my stay and deserve recognition for their excellent attitude and service.
I hope management takes guest feedback seriously, as a more welcoming front desk experience would make a significant difference.

The decoration looks like an old-fashioned hotel, so the facilities are a little bit worse. But the room is big enough, the health is good, there is a coffee machine, and the customer service staff are also very polite.
It takes about ten minutes to get to the station.

Guest UserThe hotel was well maintained and clean. It is in a good location, within walking distance of many DC attractions. We went on a summer weekend as a family, and had a nice time, but there really wasn't other families at the hotel. It was mostly a young 20's-30's crowd who were there to party by the pool! Everyone was pleasant and receptive of us being there though. Most of the staff was very friendly and accommodating, but a couple of women at the front desk were a little off putting and didn't seem too interested in helping us. Overall it was a pleasant stay, but I'd recommend it for those without children.

I did not have the pleasure of using the facilities however, I must commend the staff for always being helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I would recommend that the staff be advised on a contingency plan or when there are power cuts in the area to mitigate any discomfort and inconvenience experienced by guests. Unfortunately during my stay at the hotel, the power went out from 4am till the time I checked out at 2pm. It would have been a nice gesture to offer bottled water, discounted rates, coupons or some type of assistance to the guests who were at the hotel to ameliorate the unpleasant situation of being without power for such a long time. Other than that, I think the hotel is in a good location and is easily accessible depending on your needs in DC.

Anonymous UserThe TV had no signal, and after trying various methods, I gave up. The room door needed to be closed gently to avoid making a loud noise. The toilet flushing was mediocre, and the amenities seemed cheaply made. Most importantly, the room was filled with a pungent, overpowering smell of newly renovated furniture; it was very irritating and made my throat very sore. I suggest the hotel remove the smell (I'm not sure if it's formaldehyde). This is the first time I've experienced such a throat irritation in a new hotel.

Adele111The location is excellent! Make sure to book a room with a monument view; it's directly facing Freedom Square, offering an expansive view of the monument. The front desk staff are all very friendly. The hotel is modest, not overly luxurious – Marriott seems to be positioned a bit lower here than it is in my home country.

Guest UserThe location was excellent, very close to the subway station and a supermarket. The facilities were clean, and the Hollywood star photos displayed were very tasteful – it was a wonderful hotel. I also appreciated the water refill station next to the first-floor restroom; it was a subtle but helpful amenity.
