Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill

Mixed feelings. The hotel is well located, with Washington Union Station nearby. The rooms are average; they’re clean, but a bit outdated and musty. The reception staff looked tired and unbothered. The hotel seems to operate only under daily timings; I was not able to get cleaning later on the day. The safe was not working and I had to wait until the next day for someone to come check it, same case for broken light in the bathroom. The fitness is well equipped. The hotel was not able to accommodate my request to cancel the last night, even though I was moving to another Hilton. Not necessarily the kind of service you’d expect from them. Amenities were available upon request, there’s a mini fridge in the room. There was no kettle available. Overall, for the price, you can get better in Washington DC.

Three of us stayed here with absolutely no problem. The room was incredibly spacious, and the location was outstanding. It's very close to Washington's main tourist attractions. Even during cherry blossom season, when it was super crowded, it was still worth it. I'd definitely come back!

We had a great stay at Hotel Hive! The room was small but it had everything my Huband and I needed. It was in a great location for us because we were there to see the White House. The staff was friendly, the bar was affordable and the pizza in the restaurant was delicious! We would definitely stay there again.

The location is great, but the service was just average, unlike the Hyatt Place. Regarding parking, the website stated $50 USD per day, but upon arrival, the counter staff informed us it was $70 USD per day, which is more expensive. We asked about the price, and they agreed on $50 USD per day. If we hadn't asked, we would have wasted money. We were disappointed with the service; we expected it to be better, but it was worse than we anticipated.

The decoration looks like an old-fashioned hotel, so the facilities are a little bit worse. But the room is big enough, the health is good, there is a coffee machine, and the customer service staff are also very polite. It takes about ten minutes to get to the station.

The hotel is in a great location and the room is very cozy. It is right outside the subway station, and you can walk to the Washington Monument and the White House in two steps. There is a McDonald's across the street, so you don't have to worry about food. But there are some big problems, that is, it is very close to the building next door, so there is no light, the room is very damp, and the street is not soundproof and noisy. B1's ice machine can produce drinking water, which is good

I did not have the pleasure of using the facilities however, I must commend the staff for always being helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I would recommend that the staff be advised on a contingency plan or when there are power cuts in the area to mitigate any discomfort and inconvenience experienced by guests. Unfortunately during my stay at the hotel, the power went out from 4am till the time I checked out at 2pm. It would have been a nice gesture to offer bottled water, discounted rates, coupons or some type of assistance to the guests who were at the hotel to ameliorate the unpleasant situation of being without power for such a long time. Other than that, I think the hotel is in a good location and is easily accessible depending on your needs in DC.

The TV had no signal, and after trying various methods, I gave up. The room door needed to be closed gently to avoid making a loud noise. The toilet flushing was mediocre, and the amenities seemed cheaply made. Most importantly, the room was filled with a pungent, overpowering smell of newly renovated furniture; it was very irritating and made my throat very sore. I suggest the hotel remove the smell (I'm not sure if it's formaldehyde). This is the first time I've experienced such a throat irritation in a new hotel.

The hotel's location is excellent, the room is tidy, and the king-size bed is very comfortable. The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic. However, I was asked to pay a $100 deposit per person during check-in, which is the first time I've encountered this, and I'm unsure how long it will take to be refunded.

This hotel offers great value for money. The spaciousness makes it feel comfortable, and the small kitchen made it convenient to bring in outside food. It was relatively quiet during bedtime, and they even let me leave my luggage before check-in, which was nice. The location is also close to the subway station, and there are plenty of good cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
