Dar D'or Fes ★★★
"The owner Namir manages the riad well with great attention to details. The staff Yousef was very helpful and friendly too. The breakfast was nice and delicious, we were offered choices of fried eggs and omelette too. The riad and the rooms were clean though it’s an old building of over 200 years history. There was TV in each room and the bed and pillows were comfortable too. The only thing to improve is the roof top which could be cleaner and tidier."
La Casa Espanyola ★★★
"This riad was a great experience. The rooms and bathrooms and common spaces were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great"
Barceló Fès Medina ★★★★
"Great location. Easy to find and can park outside the hotel. Suitable for those who don’t want to find the riads in the complicated medina. However, the staff won’t help customers to call taxi. I had to go outside to call taxi."
Hotel & Spa Dar Bensouda ★★★★★
"Wonderful stay at Dar Bensouda! Special thanks to Brahim for his warm welcome and kindness. Highly recommended!"
Ibis Fes ★★★
"Kind of ascetic and calling for renovation, but is okay for its price"
Mia Urban Fes ★★★
"Perfect 👍🏼👍🏼 everyone"
Riad Jardin Chrifa ★★★
"Service is very good"
riad mozaik fes ★★★
"nice location and very good price for an en suite room with breakfast included. the medina area is not accessible by taxi but the walk is reasonable"
Royal Mirage Fes Hotel ★★★★
"Good service, friendly people, nice pool."

Hotel Sahrai
"Beautiful hotel! The room size was good, modern design & beautifully decorated. The staff were very helpful. They just need to improve the breakfast."
Le Riad Palais d'Hotes Suites & Spa Fes
"It's Ok. The riad itself is beautiful. Not much hospitality/generosity but they're mostly nice. Lots of things have riddiculous prices though (tea for 3.3 usd for example)."
Ramada by Wyndham Fes
"On a week long trip from UK with friends visiting different cities in Morocco. Arrived here in Fes on day 4. This was the first hotel where reception were fully prepared for our arrival/check-in: we were assisted with parking, our luggage was taken from our vehicle straight to our rooms, our rooms were twin as requested, all on the same floor. Credit to Khadija & Noorudeen at reception. Access to the swimming pool was slightly extended for us as we arrived early evening before closing time. The rooms were very clean & comfortable - excellent comfy beds. Breakfast was wide ranging with delicious hot food items - our omelettes were cooked perfectly to order (I’m normally very picky about how my omelettes are made). All staff were courteous & attentive. Would stay here again!"
Riad Rcif Alif Suite & Spa
"The fountain in traditional Moroccan design at the lobby is spectacular. The room is beautiful and spacious for accommodation. Nor (the host) was very welcoming and helpful to arrange a tour guide for our first day of site-seeing at Medina."
Riad Jamaï
"The riad is located on the edge of the medina, a 25-30 minute walk from the busy tourist area. It's best not to walk in the evening, as it can be unsafe. The room was large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast consisted mainly of sweets and pastries, but it was delicious. The staff was friendly."
Ryad Mabrouka
"This guesthouse is conveniently located within the old town, close to the parking lot. The interior is elegantly decorated, small yet fully equipped, and the service is warm and attentive, making for a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!"
Riad le Sucrier de Fès
"Located about 10 minutes from the main street of the old Medina, this riad offers a beautiful and cozy courtyard — a perfect retreat after exploring the maze of Fez. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast was simple but decent. The staff don’t speak much English, but they were genuinely willing to communicate and made us feel welcome. One small note: we stayed 3 nights and bath towels weren’t changed during our stay. Honestly, we weren’t sure if we could request it — so if you need fresh towels, just ask! (Not sure it’s complementary or not) That’s on us as much as the riad. Overall a lovely, authentic place to stay in Fez. Recommended!"
Hôtel Volubilis
"- a huge disadvantage is the location of the hotel. It is surrounded on all sides by highways. If you get a room with windows facing the street, then the noise and smell from cars and motorcycles until late at night and at dawn will not let you get a good rest. Keep this in mind when booking; + the courtyard is very beautiful and protected from all sides by the hotel building. If the room windows overlook this courtyard, then you will not hear the noise from cars and motorcycles; - the hotel is very far from the main attractions of the city and is suitable only for travelers by car; + the hotel has an internal free and excellent parking, plenty of spaces; - there are few dishes to choose from for breakfast, one type of porridge, stewed rice and vegetables; - the coffee from the coffee machine tastes very bad and bitter, it is impossible to drink; + good tea for breakfast in a Moroccan teapot, I advise you to drink it instead of coffee; - in general, I would not recommend the hotel. For the same money, you can find much better."
Riad Fes Baraka Piscine & Spa
"This is a hidden gem of Fes 😍 we were very well treated and the room is cosy and beautiful. The shower head needs something to hold it in place so water does not splash all around but apart from that everything else was perfect. The night receptionist was amazing to make us some breakfast bags for our early trip the next day, and he helped with a taxi and all. My friend has done the hamman and loved it. Well recommended!"
Dar El Mathaf
"I have never had such a bad experience. I have no words for the absolutely wrong behavior of the woman at the reception, Hasnae. They subsequently charged us for the 3 nights of accommodation even though we didn't stay any, since we had to leave the site on the first night due to all the complications that arose from the first moment. We arrived around 4:30 p.m., after having told them that we were by train and that we would arrive shortly. From minute 1 the impression we had was of a place that was not equipped to receive guests, the accommodation was under construction. He told us we had to wait a bit before going up to the room. We waited for more than an hour and a half downstairs to have access to the room, after 6 hours of traveling. The bathrooms on the ground floor were very dirty (with underwear lying around) and, apart from construction materials (bags of cement and so on), there was a lot of dust on the stairs. The room was smaller and more cramped than it seemed in the photo and the bathroom did not match what appeared in the images. This is the least of it. There was no shower gel or shampoo, as it should have been included, and neither were they provided when we asked. Well, it can happen. We returned in the evening after dinner and found cockroaches in the room and on the beds. There was no one at the reception and, having no other option, we had to find another place to spend the night and where we went at 1:00 in the morning. The next day the Riad had been contacted by Booking, since we had contacted customer service to notify them of the situation and that we could not stay there for not complying with even the minimum. We stopped by the Riad to explain everything that happened personally and tell them that we were going to stay somewhere else. Not a "sorry" or anything like that. The woman listened to us and, when she told us that we had to cancel the reservation, I told her that they had to cancel it and that from booking they needed to receive an email confirming what had happened on their part and that we had not spent a single night there. We went to talk to her twice and with the excuse that she did not handle the reservations and that the owner was in another city, she told us that she would contact me in an hour. He never contacted me again or responded to my WhatsApp message. He also didn't give us any option to meet halfway. Nothing. He also charged us for the full 3 nights, knowing that we were somewhere else and that we had to pay there too. It has been very bad management by a dishonest and lying person who is only interested in money and who does not even know what it means to dedicate yourself to this profession. We feel disappointed. I leave it to your conscience. May this thirst for money at the detriment of other respectful and honest people bring these people what they deserve in life and in their work. "
Palais Shazam & Spa
"The staff very helpful, they went out of they way to help. Its a lovely Riad in the middle of the medina, however, it needs a good update care."
Riad Zamane Fès - Boutique & Spa
"The hotel boasts a great location, a plentiful breakfast, spacious and clean rooms, a quiet and beautiful courtyard, and excellent value for money spa services. We stayed for two consecutive nights and found it very comfortable. Highly recommended!"
Riad Dar Guennoun
"We absolutely love every single bit of this place. We came for bank holiday weekend (too short), leaving today thinking that if we come back to fes, we come back here. Abdul is a superstar, he picked us up at our arrival as the riad is not accessible by car, very close if you know the way. He took us to the restaurant with nice food, view and prices.Everyone here very friendly. Breakfast at 8.30 really lovely. Location is crazy, walking distance everywhere, many restaurants around, literally, everything is behind the corner. Abdul can also book you a tour guide, but we already had it from get your guide (vulubilus/mekenes highly recommended). Love it, love it, love it."
Riad La Mentha Elegant Boutique Riad Panoramic Terrace & Local Experience
"We had a lovely stay at Riad La Mentha. The interior is beautiful and the family is very welcoming. We would definitely recommend!"
Riad Dar Mazaj Fes
"A Worry-Free and Heartwarming Accommodation Experience in the Ancient Town This accommodation deserves full marks! When we arrived, the roads in the ancient town were closed, and we couldn't drive in. The owner proactively contacted us, explained the situation carefully, and waited at the intersection beforehand, patiently guiding us to the guesthouse on foot. Communication was timely and courteous. The guesthouse itself was a pleasant surprise. It was spotless and very clean, with a beautiful and comfortable overall environment. The owner also warmly led us to the rooftop terrace, showing us the view and offering to take photos for us – truly thoughtful. The breakfast on the second day was a highlight – simple yet delicious, especially the owner's fried eggs, which were excellent. What reassured us most was a small incident after check-out. We accidentally left our credit card and some personal toiletries in the room and later went back to retrieve them. The owner had already carefully tidied everything up and kept them safe for us, allowing us to retrieve them smoothly. This responsible attitude made us feel very reliable. Overall, it was a smooth-communication, comfortable, and reassuring experience. The owner is polite and helpful, and the guesthouse is clean and tidy, with attention to detail evident in every aspect. Highly recommended!"
Dar Usham Fes
"I highly recommend this place. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. He even assisted me with everything I needed for the tourist visa."
