"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unexpected Moroccan traditional courtyard experience! ** The **Volubilis Hotel** that I stayed at in Fez this time was really great! The hotel is located in the old city of Medina, and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the Blue Gate of Boujilou. The location is super convenient. As soon as I entered the door, I was amazed by the Moroccan traditional courtyard. The mosaic tiles and carved wooden doors are super atmospheric and beautiful for taking pictures! The room was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the terrace overlooked the panoramic view of the old city of Fez. Director Lin also recommended a super authentic tagine restaurant near the hotel, which was much better than the Internet celebrity restaurant! The hotel service is also very considerate. The front desk is fluent in English and helped arrange airport pick-up and local SPA. You must try the mint tea and honey pancakes for breakfast! She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay. The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable.
