"I had a wonderful stay here. Upon arrival, the front desk took us to view the rooms first and offered us a discounted upgrade. It was a fantastic deal, much cheaper than booking online, so we upgraded to a view room. The view of the 白宫, 海豚广场, and the 双子塔 was stunning! The location is perfect, surrounded by food options and right next to a mall open until 12 AM, all within walking distance to the 白宫 and 海豚广场. The only minor inconvenience is that the Huaguoyuan area has a lot of stairs, so going up and down constantly can be a bit tiring😂 The service was exceptional. One late night, the sweet female receptionist who checked me in insisted that I go sleep while she took care of my laundry. The next morning, I found she had dried and even hung my clothes up neatly! Please note that the hotel is inside a shared building. There is no hotel signage or name displayed outside the building, at least I did not see any, so you have to go inside to find it or call them if lost. Once on the correct floor, the front desk is located a bit further inside."

"I arrived at the hotel around 6 PM, and the air conditioning in my room was broken. After a lot of hassle, I finally got a new room around 10 PM, but the AC in that one had a terrible, musty and smoky smell. Picture one shows the restaurant, and for a supposed 128 RMB breakfast, it offered instant fried noodles and similar items – definitely not what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. The zoo next to the restaurant was a novel idea though, and one of the staff members there was very nice. However, I think the hotel should focus more on its core business. I wanted to go to the pool on the 5th floor, but you have to walk through a row of shops to get there, making me wonder if it's outsourced. It felt less like a hotel and more like an old-fashioned entertainment arcade. The lifeguard at the pool was even on their phone with headphones on… The management of this hotel really isn't five-star quality. Accor's standards are far too inconsistent."

"We stayed for 4 days. On the first day, the hotel was fully booked, so we couldn't switch rooms. The front desk staff even came to help us unclog the drain – truly a multi-talented guy, kudos to him! For those driving, there's no underground parking, so you have to walk from street level. There are steps at the entrance, which is inconvenient if you have luggage. The front desk staff even offered to carry my bags, but for just a few steps, it wasn't really necessary. The location is great, surrounded by popular spots on Dianping (a Chinese review app), and the self-service laundry is a big plus. On another note, I have a suggestion regarding breakfast. If you pre-order breakfast the night before and don't wake up in time, having a staff member knock on your door to wake you up feels a bit intrusive and impersonal, almost like a hospital rounds check. For guests who are sure about their wake-up time, pre-ordering is fine. But for those who are unsure, it would be better to allow them to contact the front desk half an hour beforehand on the day itself to prepare breakfast, especially since it's a fixed menu anyway. I hope they'll consider a more customer-friendly approach. Overall, I'm satisfied!"

"This is an older hotel, and you can tell by the decor that it's been around for a while. Everything is clean and tidy, which is great. The carpet, like in many hotels, does have a slight smell – can't really avoid that. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around. However, during peak times, if you see over 200 people waiting for a ride-hailing service, it's often faster to just flag down a taxi. Breakfast hours are long, so you never encounter huge crowds. The robot chess player is a lot of fun! The only real issue is that the mattress is a bit old; the springs don't offer enough support, and it creaks with every little movement."

"This hotel is right in the city center! There's a mall downstairs, making shopping, dining, and getting around incredibly convenient (seriously, there are so many great restaurants nearby, you can just pick one at random and it'll be delicious!). Before I even checked in, Lisa proactively contacted me via phone and WeChat to go over the check-in details, which was really thoughtful. The lobby on the 55th floor has an amazing view, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning city vista. The room was clean and tidy, and the exclusive bedding was soft and comfortable – I slept really well. Lisa was super responsive throughout my stay, handling all my requests, big or small, with great care. All the staff were attentive and thoughtful too (they even brought some cute kids' amenities for my child, which she loved!). This stay was absolutely perfect! At checkout, Lyla even gave me a complimentary souvenir, thank you so much! Highly recommend! P.S. The breakfast was also delicious."

It was easy to get around; we walked all the way from Qingyun Road to Jiaxiu Tower. The hotel is located in an older, convenient neighborhood."

"The hotel's location is superb, just 50 meters from the Fountains Metro Station. It takes less than a minute to walk from the station to the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. Fountains Station is also a major interchange, making it easy to get anywhere. There are large shopping malls and food streets nearby, offering plenty of options for shopping, souvenirs, and dining. The room size was just right and had a window. Although it faced the road, it wasn't noisy. Additionally, the room was cleaned very thoroughly and hygienically. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and fruit tea all day. All the staff, from the front desk receptionists to the cleaning aunties, restaurant waitstaff, and chefs, actively greeted guests and were very polite. The breakfast offered in the restaurant was delicious and had a wide variety of choices. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guiyang."

"Big shout out to the front desk staff, especially Xiao Xiong, and the concierge team! Their service was incredibly warm and attentive. My stay at the Guizhou Hotel VIP Building was fantastic, and I really want to commend Xiao Xiong at the front desk! Check-in was efficient, Xiao Xiong was always smiling and friendly, patiently helped me coordinate my room, and tried her best to meet all my requests 👍 The concierge team also deserves a huge compliment. Their service was very proactive, helping me with sending and receiving packages, and storing my luggage. They were efficient and meticulous throughout, I didn't have to worry about a thing. The room amenities were also a big plus. The fully smart TOTO toilet with bidet function is practically a necessity for me, perfectly meeting my travel needs. During breakfast, it was a bit chaotic, possibly due to a large number of guests, and the speed of refilling dishes was slightly affected. However, the variety was great, with both local specialties and Western pastries, so I definitely ate my fill. Overall, the minor flaws didn't detract from an otherwise excellent experience."
