"I had a wonderful stay here. Upon arrival, the front desk took us to view the rooms first and offered us a discounted upgrade. It was a fantastic deal, much cheaper than booking online, so we upgraded to a view room. The view of the 白宫, 海豚广场, and the 双子塔 was stunning! The location is perfect, surrounded by food options and right next to a mall open until 12 AM, all within walking distance to the 白宫 and 海豚广场. The only minor inconvenience is that the Huaguoyuan area has a lot of stairs, so going up and down constantly can be a bit tiring😂 The service was exceptional. One late night, the sweet female receptionist who checked me in insisted that I go sleep while she took care of my laundry. The next morning, I found she had dried and even hung my clothes up neatly! Please note that the hotel is inside a shared building. There is no hotel signage or name displayed outside the building, at least I did not see any, so you have to go inside to find it or call them if lost. Once on the correct floor, the front desk is located a bit further inside."

"The room was clean, tidy, well-proportioned, and had great natural light. The Laifen hairdryer provided was excellent. The TV's screen mirroring worked perfectly, and we could access various channels. The hotel's location is fantastic; there's a bus stop and subway entrance right downstairs, making travel incredibly convenient, even to the airport and high-speed train station. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming."

"It's absolutely fantastic to stay at Sofitel hotel Guiyang.It is near to Guiyang Jiaxiu pavillion and walking distance to the metro. Hotel checking in is fast and clear, they got us dinner sorted and reception booked transport for us for the next day no problem. Checking out is fast and easy, Lisa and Jason were especially nice and friendly and they got us some Guiyang special souvenirs. The room is cozy, bed is comfortable, the room is sound proof, and we loved the great view, amazing horizon across the city of Guiyang. The amenety of the hotel are okay, lovely restaurant, swimming pool, lifts are a little confusing as reception is on 55 and the rooms need a different lift to access, but there is always someone around to help if you are lost. Coffee machine and cups were at a low level in a room without carpets, so be aware of it ,they're easy to knock over and shatter. Dinner and breakfast are delicious, wide range of food suitable for any type of diet. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone who loves to travel and explore Guiyang."

"Sooong's movie-themed rooms are perfect for unwinding after a tiring day of sightseeing: just turn on the XGIMI giant screen and turn down the lights, and the ambiance is instantly incredible. The mattress is soft yet supportive, and the pillow height is just right, so I could just fall asleep after watching a movie late at night. The room isn't an enormous open-plan space, but the storage, fridge, projector, and lighting are all perfectly arranged, giving it that relaxed designer hotel vibe. The front desk staff was also very patient!"

"This was my first time seeing a room specifically designed for women. Even when I first read the description, I was already impressed by the details like the dressing table, illuminated makeup mirror, jewelry organizer, and phone holder. My actual stay far exceeded my expectations, and I truly recommend it. First, I have to praise the garment care machine in the room – quick care, delicate care, drying and wrinkle removal, and odor and germ elimination, all in one machine. Being able to take care of my clothes anytime while traveling is incredibly convenient. Second, I usually bring my own disposable toiletries, but the hotel had almost everything I needed, and they were even brands I commonly use, with excellent quality: disposable towels, bath towels, hair drying caps, toilet seat covers, as well as individually packaged sanitary pads, makeup remover wipes, facial cleanser, and hand cream. They replenished everything promptly each day after I used them, showing incredible attention to detail. Besides the electric kettle, the room also came with a Xiaomi travel mug, which is the exact model I carry with me, and it's very useful. Another small detail is that in the entryway near the elevators, there's drinking water, disposable glasses cleaning cloths, wet wipes, garment wipes, and shoe shine cloths, which is a very thoughtful touch. As for breakfast, I was able to try many Guizhou specialties: sticky rice, Changwang noodles, beef noodles, crisped pork belly, dipping sauces, and Zunyi small cakes. Other dishes were up to the usual standard for a star hotel, decent but not outstanding. During this trip to Guiyang, I also stayed at another highly-rated hotel near Jiaxiu Tower. Comparing the two, I definitely prefer this female-themed room at Guizhou Hotel Guibinlou. It surpasses the other in both thoughtfulness and comfort. This will be my first choice next time I visit Guiyang."

"This time I traveled with my girlfriend, and by chance, I saw this hotel called 'Zaixu Manju'. The name instantly caught my attention. We checked in with high expectations, and the results truly exceeded them! When checking in, the front desk had many green plants, which made me feel very comfortable and refreshed, but I regret not taking photos (sad). The lady at the front desk was so patient, recommending delicious food and even thoughtfully upgrading our room! (Definitely worth a thumbs up!) Because we arrived a bit early, she was busy helping us coordinate the room. I really love this upgraded room, with its big bed, soft and comfortable bedding. I absolutely adored the smart home system, 'Xiaodu Xiaodu' throughout the room; it's truly intelligent. This hotel is also very close to the old town, about a 20-minute taxi ride, but the environment is much, much better than the old town. The food in Guiyang is also delicious, and this hotel put a perfect end to my trip to Guiyang. I will miss this city and will definitely come back! If I come back, I will definitely stay at Zaixu Manju again."

"This was our second stay at this hotel. Last time, it was the Alber under the French Paris Hotel Group, but it has since been rebranded as the Chinese-owned “Zhenper” and is now one of the seven members of The Leading Hotels of the World in China. Our recent stay provided us with a wonderful experience. First and foremost, its location is excellent. Situated in Guiyang's Guanshanhu District, it's very close to Guiyang North Station and the airport, making it easily accessible. A taxi ride to the Guizhou Provincial Museum is just the starting fare. Downstairs from the hotel is the Ayunduo Warehouse Art District, where popular Instagrammable spots like Du's and Captain George's Cafe are located. There's also the ”Gaoshan Class 3”网红 (internet-famous) tea shop, local Guizhou cuisine, Yunnan cuisine, pizzerias, bakeries, and a unique handmade cultural and creative market. Essentially, what others travel far to experience and check-in for, Zhenper guests can enjoy daily, strolling around countless times, relaxing, eating, and drinking in their own community. If a restaurant is hard to get a table at, you can pick up a dinner number at noon, then comfortably relax in your room or hit the gym in the evening. When the restaurant calls, you just head downstairs – pure bliss! The hotel's design is exceptionally artistic. In the lobby on the first floor, one wall is adorned with Impressionist paintings, while the transparent glass window on the opposite wall reflects the green trees outside – simply beautiful. There's an art exhibition space outside the lobby on the twentieth floor, and during our stay, local Guizhou batik handicrafts were on display. The room amenities were incredibly comfortable. This time, we stayed in the Zhenper Suite, nearly 80 square meters, featuring a spacious living room, bedroom, and walk-in closet. The bathroom, with its black and white patterned tiles, felt both modern and vintage. All the details were wonderfully designed: despite its large size, the room didn't feel empty. My favorite was the sofa lounger in front of the living room's floor-to-ceiling window. The coffee table was daily filled with an array of nuts, fruits, desserts, red wine, and other suite amenities. The bathroom toiletries were the same as those found in Four Seasons hotels, and mouthwash was thoughtfully provided. The velvet slippers were exceptionally comfortable. The night light design deserves special mention. When you turn on the night light switch in the middle of the night, the floor light in the toilet room connected to the bedroom illuminates, meeting your needs for nighttime lighting without disturbing the other person's sleep. This detail, for someone as sensitive to light at night as I am, was the most satisfying. The gym is also not to be missed. While it doesn't have a vast array of equipment, it meets basic needs. Especially in Guiyang, where you're constantly indulging in various delicious foods, a 24-hour fitness center provides a great sense of security. The hotel's restaurant cuisine is also worth trying. Suite privileges include a daily French double dinner; the veal and mushroom chicken soup were particularly delicious, and the desserts were artistic and exquisite. The hotel's Jinsha Bakery on the first floor is fantastic. Any healthy bread you enjoy at breakfast can be purchased at the bakery. I even bought some to give to friends, and the bakery manager arranged for SF Express delivery. However, I believe the patient, meticulous, and thoughtful private butler service is the true soul of this hotel. Butlers Sue and Tina began communicating with me several days before check-in, inquiring about my preferences and requirements. During our stay, I felt there was no need to use the room phone, as Tina was always responsive on WeChat. Especially after breakfast on the second day, hotel manager Gina was already waiting for me at the restaurant entrance. She accompanied us back to our room, listened to my needs and suggestions on-site, and when we returned to the room after going out, I found she had already made adjustments according to my preferences. It truly felt like coming home, which was incredibly touching. I believe no hotel in the world can satisfy all guests' needs, and this isn't necessarily a drawback. On the contrary, when a hotel has the ability to efficiently solve problems and improve things to the greatest extent possible within its scope, it's an absolute plus. Zhenper is a hotel with that added strength. The next time I visit Guiyang, I will undoubtedly choose it again."

"The hotel exceeded my expectations. Since I was driving and my first night in the city was a bit noisy, I decided to avoid the bustling city center and booked this place instead. First, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the soundproofing was excellent! Second, it's perfect for lazy people! Breakfast is served until 12 PM! There's also afternoon tea, but I didn't get to try it due to time constraints. The amenities were also top-notch, with freshly ground coffee and Wogi fresh milk. What's even more amazing is that you can take breakfast to go. Third, the hotel design includes a clever clothes-hanging area near the air conditioning vent. Overall, every detail shows thoughtful consideration! There's a parking lot right at the entrance, which is great for self-drivers, though it's about a 30-minute drive from the city center. However, it's very close to the newly opened Yuzhen Hotpot Guanshan branch, which is new and less crowded than the old one. There's also a popular grilled fish restaurant nearby. It's ideal for those who drive and prefer a quieter environment."

"## Location The hotel is ideally located in the bustling center of Guiyang's Grand Cross commercial district, offering an excellent position. Opting for a luxury high-floor room with a view allows for direct, panoramic views of the city from Grand Cross Square. The hotel maintains strict internal management, preventing unauthorized personnel from entering freely. Food deliveries are handled by robots directly to guest rooms, ensuring good safety and privacy for residents. ## Dining Experience The breakfast consistently offers good quality and a rich variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes, as well as local flavors. This caters to diverse diner preferences, providing ample choice. ## Service and Rooms The overall service is excellent, and daily room cleaning procedures are well-maintained. The rooms are equipped with comprehensive hardware facilities, ensuring a consistent and comfortable living experience. ## Drawbacks Being in a vibrant city center, walking to the nearest metro station takes approximately 8-10 minutes, which isn't particularly close for subway commuters. The main road downstairs is a traffic-congested area, with heavy traffic during peak hours, making it easy to encounter jams when driving in or out, thus presenting a slight inconvenience in terms of transportation. Occasionally, noisy motorcycles can be heard at night, which might cause some disturbance."

"Came to Guiyang for some sightseeing and food, mainly looking for a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced hotel. Half Mountain Hotel perfectly fit the bill. The TV picture quality in the room was decent, good for watching something when you're back at the hotel to relax. The tea station had drinking water provided, which was great – no need to buy your own. The bedding was clean, making for a reassuring stay. It's a short walk to Qingyun Market, so it was perfect for a stroll back to the hotel after dinner. Definitely a five-star review! All things considered, the value for money is really excellent!"
