The Grand Guizhou Park Hotel

The breakfast here is even better than many five-star hotels abroad. During my four-day stay in Guiyang, I started each day with a sumptuous breakfast, then took the high-speed train from Guiyang North for a day trip to the surrounding areas. In the afternoons, I'd return to the hotel to relax, swim, or hit the gym. What surprised me most was the meticulous interior design of the hotel, seamlessly blending Guizhou's local characteristics into everything from carpets and hanging paintings to decorative擺件 and wall decor. Even the items in the vanity box in the bathroom were jigsaw puzzles. I took my time exploring from the first to the fourth floor and was constantly delighted by what I found.

Big shout out to the front desk staff, especially Xiao Xiong, and the concierge team! Their service was incredibly warm and attentive. My stay at the Guizhou Hotel VIP Building was fantastic, and I really want to commend Xiao Xiong at the front desk! Check-in was efficient, Xiao Xiong was always smiling and friendly, patiently helped me coordinate my room, and tried her best to meet all my requests 👍 The concierge team also deserves a huge compliment. Their service was very proactive, helping me with sending and receiving packages, and storing my luggage. They were efficient and meticulous throughout, I didn't have to worry about a thing. The room amenities were also a big plus. The fully smart TOTO toilet with bidet function is practically a necessity for me, perfectly meeting my travel needs. During breakfast, it was a bit chaotic, possibly due to a large number of guests, and the speed of refilling dishes was slightly affected. However, the variety was great, with both local specialties and Western pastries, so I definitely ate my fill. Overall, the minor flaws didn't detract from an otherwise excellent experience.

We specifically chose this hotel, which was ranked number one, and my husband and I had a very enjoyable and comfortable four-night stay here. 👍 The hotel's location is great, and the service is excellent. They even have electric toilets 🚽 and free drinks in the mini-fridge. Most importantly, both the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. There's a Chinese restaurant on the fourth floor with good food. Breakfast was also plentiful and high-quality. 👍

Going by the name, I expected an old-fashioned hotel, but I was so pleasantly surprised after checking in! They even upgraded us to a room with a bathtub when we arrived, which was such great service. Plus, it's not far from Qianling Mountain Park!

Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded me to a deluxe king room. It was spacious and comfortable, featuring a large bathtub facing a floor-to-ceiling window. The mini-bar was restocked daily with sodas. Plus, I was able to get a late check-out until 2 PM. Thumbs up! 👍

This was our first hotel in Guizhou, and it seems to be an older, well-established property here. The service was quite good, and we even tried their dinner buffet, which offered decent value for money and suited our tastes. Overall, a pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a subway station, and it's just one stop to Qianling Park.

This was the most satisfying hotel of our trip, I honestly wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be great after check-in. The room was very clean, and they even provided toiletries for the kids. The service was prompt, and all the staff members were very friendly. We stayed here on both our arrival and departure nights, and the breakfast was also excellent. There were no strange odors in the restaurant either.

If 10 is the highest, I'd give Guibinlou an 11! I booked a standard room, and without a word, the front desk upgraded me to a room with a view, which was significantly larger! I especially appreciate this kind of humble, no-fuss service. The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Metro Lines 1 and 3. You can also walk to the popular Qianling food market in about 20 minutes for lots of local snacks! The hotel breakfast is also incredibly diverse; a bowl of Changwang noodles with double toppings of beef every morning made my day. For less than 800 during the off-season, the price is an absolute steal! For high-end accommodation in Guiyang, Guibinlou is definitely my top choice! Highly recommended!

I never expected my most memorable five-star hotel experience to be in Guiyang! It's centrally located, with brand-new and comprehensive facilities. I absolutely loved the round bathtub! The service was also top-notch! If you have the budget and want an international standard, I highly recommend this place! The breakfast was fantastic too, even though there were quite a few people, the space was huge! The only downside is the lack of self-service laundry. You have to use their somewhat expensive laundry service, and I was told it's hand-washed! The packaging and folding were excellent, and if I only needed to wash one or two shirts, it would be fine. But I had a bunch of other shirts and sportswear... Also, the Guizhou Tourism Building next door blocks a significant portion of the view. If possible, ask for a room on the other side.
