A perfect place for retreat in Sapa. Nice environment with friendly staff and delicious food. Trekking tour is provided, visiting villages with 6hours walk is so much fun! The view from our room is amazing, one of the best hotel i stay with peaceful balcony for my morning yoga routine. I love this place so much and i will definitely come back again!

There was construction work in the building right next to the hotel, directly beside my room. The noise was extremely loud, and I couldn’t sleep, especially after just arriving from a long trip. I called reception and they told me they would ask the workers to reduce the noise, but nothing changed. I then asked to change rooms, but they said there were no rooms available. The next morning, the same loud noise started again and woke us up suddenly. Only after I complained again did they finally change our room.

Everything in the room was well-equipped and convenient. The staff were friendly, helpful, and even upgraded our room. There were many guests staying, and the breakfast offered a good variety. There's a fitness room, a swimming pool, and a bar.

Our group of four found our stay at Azalea Sapa Hotel truly exceptional, from the moment we booked two rooms. The service was impeccable from the outset; staff promptly assisted with our luggage, offered complimentary warm tea, and ensured a seamless check-in process. The rooms themselves were a picture of cleanliness, spaciousness, and pristine comfort. One of our rooms even offered a breathtaking valley view, though inclement weather regrettably limited our enjoyment of it. A personal highlight was the thoughtful provision of toiletries, particularly the ample tissue paper and the diverse selection of towels—body, face, and hand. Both rooms boasted reliable hot and cold showers with consistently strong water pressure. While the breakfast buffet may not have offered the vast variety found in some other establishments, the Pho was an absolute revelation. It became a daily eagerly anticipated delight, largely thanks to the wonderfully warm and kind lady who meticulously prepared it and, as a bonus, cooked excellent eggs. A minor observation, perhaps, is that for extended stays, the breakfast selection might eventually feel somewhat repetitive, yet its overall quality remained consistently high. Unfortunately, the cold and rainy weather prevented us from experiencing many of the hotel's amenities, including the pool. However, I did manage to utilize the gym. Though somewhat minimalist, it offered a comprehensive full-body workout with fairly new and meticulously maintained equipment. A true bonus was the ability to exercise while soaking in the majestic mountain views and a captivating sea of clouds. A slight discrepancy was noted regarding outdated information; a pamphlet mentioned a 4 PM tea break, which, upon inquiry, was no longer offered. They also offer a massage, sauna, and jacuzzi but we were not able to try them. The hotel's location is highly convenient, offering easy access to Sun Plaza and a host of iconic spots and cafes. It's worth noting that the hotel sits on an uphill slope, and the shortcut to Sun Plaza involves a few flights of stairs, which might pose a challenge for some guests. Nonetheless, a nearby mini-mart provides convenient access to essentials, beverages, and snacks. In conclusion, despite enduring a storm and adverse weather throughout much of our Sapa visit, the Azalea Sapa Hotel and its dedicated staff transformed what could have been a dreary experience into one of comfort and genuine satisfaction. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

I really liked this hotel. Its location is great. My room had a mountain view. The furniture in the room was good, with comfortable large beds and a big, warm duvet, which was perfect for January. We used the air conditioning for heating when it got cold. Breakfast was à la carte; you could choose two dishes and a drink. It was a very filling breakfast. My choice was fried rice with meat and fresh cucumber, and for the second dish, two fried eggs, two toasts, cheese, butter with jam, and coffee as a drink. It was delicious! I recommend choosing this hotel.

Comfortable spacious room. Stayed here for two nights. Cleanliness is unfortunately found some stained on the bed sheets but after informing the receptionist. She arranged the house keeping to changed the bedsheets immediately. View is magnificent over looking the mountain but foggy on most days due to weather isn't favorable. First day when we arrived was raining. Breakfast was good. There were plenty of choices buffet style. Dessert is delicious. I like the yoghurt taste so good. Location is good next to CatCat village. Walking distance. The pick up transferred from Lao Cai Station to Catcat Hill Resort is very good. The driver pick us up and send us to the hotel and pick us up on the last day and send us back to the station. Very friendly driver and nice to talk too.

## Location We rented a scooter from downtown, so the location didn't feel inconveniently far. However, if you don't have a scooter, you'd constantly need to call Grab (ride-hailing), which could be quite a hassle. ## Amenities The swimming pool looked beautiful, but it was too cold to use. I didn't get to use other facilities, and my phone's international roaming didn't pick up a signal. The Wi-Fi connection was also spotty, constantly connecting and disconnecting. This might be an issue for heavy internet users, but as I didn't plan on spending much time online, it wasn't a major inconvenience for me personally. ## Service All the staff members were friendly. However, while they were polite, their friendliness wasn't particularly outstanding; it was more or less the standard level of service you'd expect at any hotel. ## Cleanliness It was exceptionally clean; absolutely spotless, with nothing to complain about. I would definitely consider staying here again if I return to Sapa. While everything else was fairly standard, the view you wake up to in the morning is absolutely breathtaking. It's so incredibly beautiful it's hard to put into words. The view is truly unforgettable, and it alone makes me want to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed the experience. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful from check-in to check-out. Breakfast every morning was delicious with a good variety of options, and we really enjoyed starting our day there. The view from the hotel was also beautiful and made our stay even more relaxing. We were especially grateful for the kind surprise of a complimentary one-night upgrade from our Superior Room to a Suite Room. It was a lovely gesture and made our stay feel even more special. Thank you for the excellent hospitality and memorable experience. We would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Sapa Passion Hotel and Spa. They say they aim to provide “a home away from home,” and they truly delivered on that promise. From the moment we arrived in Sapa early in the morning, the staff kindly allowed us to check in early. After an overnight sleeper train, being able to rest a little before exploring Sapa was such a blessing. As soon as we entered the room, we were amazed by its spaciousness and cleanliness, and the clear view of the lake from our window was simply beautiful. The receptionist also suggested several local activities for us, and although we couldn’t join due to the weather, we truly appreciated her thoughtful recommendations. On our departure day, we took a night bus out of Sapa, and the hotel generously let us use their bathroom to freshen up before our journey. It made our departure so much more comfortable. We felt genuinely cared for during our entire stay, and I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa.

The hotel is located on the main street right next to the market, and about 20mins walk from the town, perfect if you are a market person. Communication with the hotel is mainly via Google translate, all requests were honoured just needed a little patience and understanding when communicating with them. There's all the basic amenities you need without frills. It's definitely a bargain to get your own room with a private toilet.
