DeLaMont Sapa Hotel - Hill Serenity Retreat

The only thing missed was the confusion regarding the ckeanung of my room from my first to the second night. But for me was the best experience ever at the north of Vietnam and my first trip to Sapa. Simply adored it next time coming during warm season to try the pool.

The hotel has a beautiful view and the rooms are huge. Unfortunately it's still under construction and it's about 2.5km away from the city centre (which is very far if you know Sapa). I had problems ordering food delivery because some riders said it was too far and unsafe. Service was great though. Pros and cons.

We are very disappointed with this hotel: 1. Location - Shuttle service of the Bus liners all refused to bring us or fetch us from this hotel as location is a bit off. So we had to book our own taxi to go to this hotel. The following day, it took us more than an hour to book a grab as most drivers refused to take our order given the location. 2. Amenities - This hotel seemed to be having problem with their hot water system. The hot water suddenly went off in the middle of shower and it was so cold. We had to personally go down to the front desk to complain as they only have one person manning the counter. This person had to handle all the complains as the entire hot water system went down. While waiting, I learned from fellow guest who checked in one night earlier than us, that they also had the same hot water issue the day before. We waited for more than an hour for the hot water to come back. All this time, the manager in charge is hiding in his office and refused to face us.

The view of the hotel is the most amazing thing! Wake up and have a diñelicius breakfast with a view leaves you speechless, the staff is kind and very helpfull, the rooms are nice with comfy beds. Everything is neat and tidy. The best of my stay in Sapa for sure was delaMont hotel
